Did lunch today. Egg Salad on toasted bread with lettuce tomato Mayo and cheese w a bag of chips and a mimosa. Grilled Cheese w tomato soup for dipping.

Don't miss this hidden gem if you are looking for great breakfast food, that's perfectly prepared. It's everything you want and nothing that you don't. Eating outside is so nice and it's a nice break from the crowds. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The hash browns and eggs were delicious!

Excellent food and excellent prices. Loved the rich and filling French toast especially. Order in the small cafe and eat out on the delightful patio. Hidden gem worth finding! The guys running the place are very personable and fun.

Cute breakfast spot. Court yard tables. Pleasant music. Friendly service. Reasonable time. Food was good.

The owners Joe and Neel making our food themselves.

My mother, sister and I visited here on our way to Port Canaveral for a quick breakfast. My sister and I got the breakfast plate and it was delicious, just like a home cooked breakfast. The staff consisted of the two owners, Joe and Neel, who were incredibly friendly and personable, and they got our food out quickly. They both make you feel as if you've been life long friends. We got to chat with them and hear all about New Smyrna, recommendations of which places to stop at, and about their restaurant. Since we would be gone by lunch time, they were generous enough to let us try their tomato basil soup which was absolutely delicious, and I would 100% recommend to everyone. It is all outside seating, in their shaded court yard surrounded by neighboring shops to look at while waiting for your food. The atmosphere was relaxing and calm, exactly what you would expect from a cafe right on the beach. The location was 2 minutes walking distance from the beach with cute shops along the way. I plan on returning to New Smyrna soon, and I recommend here for anyone who is looking for a quick, relaxing bite for breakfast or lunch. The location is perfect. The portions were large and yummy and came out in a timely manner. However, the staff/owners are easily the best part, and they are what make Patio Cafe the best place to stop.

This spot has always held great memories for all of us, whether together or separately, and we were hoping it would still feel the same. It absolutely did. Since it was a Monday night, it was nicely relaxed--not too crowded--and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. We grabbed a table right by the bar in the open-air section, and everything about it was just perfect. The weather cooperated (low humidity for the win!), and the setting felt like a little tropical escape. Between the pergola, Bimini-style covers, and all the lush greenery, it honestly felt like dining in a beautiful garden. Our server was fantastic--patient, attentive, and genuinely kind--even as we got caught up in nonstop conversation and took our time ordering. Never once felt rushed, which made the night even more enjoyable. When we finally ordered, the food did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There are so many great options on the menu that everyone at the table left happy (and already talking about what to try next time). It's rare to find a place that delivers consistently on atmosphere, service, and food--but this one still does. So glad we chose it for such a meaningful night. We'll definitely be back.

We did go here on a busy night and the server appeared potentially high. A number of times we asked questions or he seemed to be very confused by what we were saying or asking. We ordered a number of things; blackberry mule, lavender lemonade, salmon with crab cake, and the firecracker shrimp. My friends ordered food as well but I won't speak to it as I did not try it. The lavender lemonade was so yummy! Not too sweet, fruit, or overbearing in flavor. The blackberry mule was not served in a tin cup nor did it taste very good. The firecracker shrimp was by far the best thing that we had and it was spicy and so tasty! Normally these are fried but this came fresh and not breaded. For my main dish I ordered salmon, the seasonal veggie, potato's and the crab cake. The salmon was well done, blackened as requested, delicious and crispy with lots of flavor. The crab cake was soggy/mushy and not at all good. The asparagus was cooked well, with just a little crunch. The potatoes were a multicolored mix, fried, and had the perfect amount of garlic. Overall i would come back here, and skip over some of the fried/soggy food options and stick with the delicious firecracker shrimp and lavender beverage. I am hoping the inattentiveness of the waiter and appearance of being high was an anomoly and would give this place another chance -- as the beach and other aspects made it worth while.

We have been coming here for years, and it has consistently delivered a wonderful experience every single time. This is truly a French pâtisserie right out of France. From their fresh, flavorful sandwiches to my wife's all-time favorite Pavlova, everything we have tried has been beautifully prepared and genuinely delicious. The quality really stands out, and you can tell pride and tradition go into what they create.
