I visited the diner yesterday along with several friends. Since I'm vegan, I always check the online menu beforehand to ensure that there will be something vegan-friendly for me. I was excited to see that there was a "Vegans Only" section which included an Impossible Burger, however, when I attempted to place my order, the server informed me that they were all out of the veggie burgers and had been "for a while." The other "vegan" option, the veggie platter, contains boiled egg which I am sure could have been omitted, but do the mashed potatoes contain milk and butter? Neither of these items are vegan. (I implore restaurants to please educate themselves on the definition of vegan!) I settled for two side salads which consisted of lettuce, a few grape tomatoes, a cucumber and onion for $10. This was definitely not the dining experience I was looking forward to. My party actually suggested that we leave when we learned the lack of veggie burger, but I was hoping the diner could accommodate me in some other way. The server was nice enough but was at a loss as to what to do, she had no idea which items on the menu were plant-based. I understand this is standard diner fare, and had there not been a big bold "VEGANS ONLY" heading, I would not expected much & would not have bothered going there. We are locals so we always tried to support local businesses. This was a very big disappointment. I always think breakfast is the easiest meal to prepare and serve so we felt safe doing breakfast on our first visit. What a disappointment. The teeny portion of hashbrowns were actually burnt beyond edible. Eggs Benedict was another disappointment the eggs were so runny it was a little iffy if I even wanted to eat them. My husband ordered Southwest omelette the problem was he couldn't find the vegetables or the meat. breakfast for him came with one slice of toast and more burnt potatoes. The servers were all pleasant they just were not attentive. Had to ask for coffee later for water. I will give it one star for Decour. That's the best I can do for it. Just sad we were really looking forward to it being a regular stop. read more

This was a...unique experience. Being told your only soda options are coke, diet coke, coke zero, sprite, and fanta was interesting. I would say the best think we had was the sweet tea. We got the chicken tenders for an appetizer, and they were alright, pretty standard. My friend got the All the Way Burger with fries and I got the berry French toast. My friend said the burger and fries looked like it had a lot of seasoning, but it tasted like nothing. Ill say the sausage that came with my eggs and French toast also tasted like nothing. It's an insult to claim what they served was French toast. At most it's a worse version of dairy queen bread. I will say the server was very friendly and she got us timely re-fills and was helpful.1 Overall, I would skip out on this experience if I was you. read more

Great experience at Angelina's for breakfast! We went during Biketoberfest, and it was packed, but we got in after a surprisingly short wait, and the food was delicious! The best French Toast I've ever had, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. We also tried the Country fried steak and eggs, which was tender and tasty. The gravy was a bit thin, but had good flavor. The omelettes were also great- not dried out, and generous fillings. We enjoyed it so much that we went two days in a row, and we WILL be back again! read more

We've come here a few times since they opened and every time has been delicious and a great experience and the longer they're open, the better it gets. The inside feels bright and cheerful and that energy was matched by the staff. Max was our server and she was so helpful and kind. Our son has a dairy allergy as well and the our waitress was very helpful guiding us on some food options and the kitchen was careful to work around our dietary needs. I wish I had taken some pictures because the food looked great, but we started eating it too fast. My daughter got the Kids Mickey Mouse Pancake and loved it. My mom got the Greek Omelet, my dad got the French Toast which he loved and I got the Ribeye Omelet which I also enjoyed a lot. My fried shrimp came to the table cold, the coleslaw was warm like it had sat at room temperature for while, no cocktail sauce. My pari's blueberry pancakes had a huge of cump of blueberries in the gummy middle and the bacon was just barely not burned. Very disappointed. read more

I gave it 2 stars only because our server was friendly. Came for first time with out of town friends...chicken fried steak not flavorful, could not finish. My BLT was ok but got corn on cob for side (pictured) and did not eat, too cold and looked terrible. Husband got buffalo chicken wrap which was dry with side of broccoli which was cold. Had to wait longer on our food as order was incorrect but server did give a discount because of that which was kind of her. read more

Restaurant is on the site of an old IHOP. It has been here approximately 5 months and it was very busy on a Sunday mid-morning. Almost lunch time. I had a build your own omelet with cheese, peppers, bacon with side of grits and toast. My boyfriend had a 2 egg breakfast, eggs over easy. Tried this place today, they made an awful first impression. Waited to be seated about 4 minutes afterwards no one came to table for at least 5-7 minutes. After finally getting drinks & ordering we waited another 30 minutes to get COLD over easy eggs. COLD potatoes & cold toast but we were starving so we ate it. Guy said separate checks as he passed us we said yes. We waited he wasn't coming back & my anxiety was increasing from entire experience. We get up to walk near him to get checks & pay, that took more & more time. I said to lady waitress if I can say two things they are the wait & food was cold. She shrugged her shoulders & replied yeah we only have two servers & two cooks. She could care less. I worked in the food industry for over 25 years & I would NEVER TALK TO A CUSTOMER LIKE SHW DID. we been here since Monday, our hotel is right across the street so it has been very convenient. Tuesday night, food and service was amazing. so we decided to try more. so yesterday we went for lunch and service and food was amazing. today, we decided to pick up our lunch and brought it back to the hotel, my husband ordered a medium cooked burger and I got a chef salad. the burger was raw not even rare but raw. the fries with the burger were also not done and also cold the chef salad is also $16 and it comes with lettuce, cheese, turkey, ham and egg. no tomato no cucumber no croutons read more

Ribeye steak sandwich was so delicious . It is now my favorite place for a Phila steak. The tender beef was a generous portion. The fries were cooked to crispy perfection. It's friendly and clean. I mentioned this to the really nice server at Angelinas and the manager came out, with his hat on backwards, got mad and called me a liar, then took out his Android phone and said see it's right there, you don't know how to do it. Went there for Christmas Dinner the food was cold the Meatloaf and Fries was the worst experience that I have had in the area. The Kitchen staff was totally disorganized and really need to hire proper staff. Never again wound up not eating two meals out of 4 were not eatable. Don't waste your time or money. We were happy that there was a new, affordable place to eat! It was bright and clean with great service. My husband had the Belgium waffle combo and it was fantastic! The waffles probably the best I have ever tasted.. yes.. I ate some of his.. could not help myself... and the eggs really good as well! My burger was cooked exactly how I requested.. medium rare, which is hard to get done correctly, and very tasty! I also got the broccoli which was more al dente than I like but still very good. We brought about 16 or so of our church people for lunch today (Feb 11) and we had an absolutely great lunch! I personally had the Ribeye cheesesteak sandwich (as did several others of us) and it was wonderful. Our waitress did a fantastic job. Food was served hot and in generous portions.
