Way over priced for what you get and way too noisy. We called in a reservation well in advance but we were sat in the bar area anyway. It was so noisy that the waiter appologized while trying to tell us the specials because he could barely hear himself talking. I can deal with noise...but noise with bad food is unforgivable. I ordered the spinach ravioli (priced at $17.50) and received 5 flat, underfilled, half moon ravioli drowning in a pan of cream sauce. For everything the dish was lacking...like ravioli...it made up for it in garlic. I pulled over 3 garlic cloves out of the pan. Absolutely ridiculous for one serving. I left the restaurant still hungry and very disappointed. I'm generously giving the restsurant 1 Star because the waiter was pleasant. I will never eat here again. read more

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and it was a first visit for both of us. He said the chicken parm was the best he's ever had and I thoroughly enjoyed my penne a la vodka and jalapeño margarita. Can't wait to eat here again in the (hopefully near) future. read more

Wife and I love Teca. We frequent often for date nights. They have a tremendous wine selection and excellent food. As with most places in downtown West Chester, it does get crowded and difficult to have close normal volume conversations. read more

I haven't been to Teca in forever, but I'm pretty sure it has a specific wonderful wine crafted on the owner's family vineyard in Italy. Now that's pretty sweet and unique. I would not compare Teca to anything in NYC. Some things are just special, and it doesn't matter if they are located in WC or in Manhatten. If you like Teca, but want more food, go to Alberto's down the street. They are owned by the same family. The food is wonderful and the service is charming. Headed over to Teca to celebrate our good friends anniversary. Very nice restaurant, plenty of seating including an outdoors section. The bar had pretty much everything you could want including a vast wine selection. I had the Penne Alla Vodka which was on the al dente side but very good. We love Teca and eat there regularly. However the lack of non-dairy milk options prevents me from raving about it. It is 2019 and most restaurants- especially good ones- have non-dairy milks available. Wawa has them for coffee. Get with the program Teca! read more

I enjoy the atmosphere of Teca, but the food leaves much to be desired. I've gotten several small plates, but never have left with a very strong desire to order the same thing again. Stopped by this afternoon with a group of 4 for an early dinner/happy hour. The waiter and all of the waitresses are super friendly and professional. Our bartender, Amy was patient with my cousin who HAS to sample several wines before ordering one. Anyway, the food was awesome & fresh. The diablo panini was to die for. Spicy and full of flavor. My wife and I were there last night. She is very sensitive to spicy foods and when we ordered the crab appetizer waiter said it was not spicy...well it was and he said to her "I'm sorry" i ate it but she couldn't. When we ordered the lasagna he asked if we would like a meatball and we said yes...meatball 9.95. When we got the bill he said "I'm sorry" and said oh they were 6 dollars before. For a meatball!! So good! Had lunch today - crab Napoleon was so different and such an awesome combination of guac, crab and mango salsa. I'd go back just for that. Stuffed mushrooms were great. Not sure what the sauce was but it tasted like done and again was just the perfect combination . All of the apps looked so good and are worth going back to try. Had a Friday reservation which was seated promptly. Good atmosphere and clean spot. Slow to take our orders but we had a large party so it was ok as we were enjoying the company. 6 dishes came out and we waited 10 minutes for the others to come out and they never did. We had to ask as our waiter, he didn't check on us to see if we all received our meals. Came back out and said they were sent to another table. I was able to finish my 14 oz steak before they delivered the other 2 dishes. They did not apologize or even to offer to comp any part of the mistake, that's a big no no, especially after we received a 415$ bill. Food was just "ok" steak was "ok" and everyone else felt the same way... this place is just ok. Not at all worth the prices.
