    Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure

The Cheesesteak was very good and came with french fries. It had a nice big bready roll. It had a good/very good amount of meat. The meat, fried onions, mushrooms and sweet pepper were so well chopped together that they could have spent time together in a food processor. The cheese was melted through the whole cheesesteak. I didn't get an itemized bill but I think the cheesesteak was under $10. I am a big Square Bar fan.

Horrible. Got a pizza and there were many pieces of plastic in it. 3 slices I pulled pieces out of my mouth. A 4th one a friend took a video of. I discreetly told the bartender. He said he would comp us. 20 minutes later the manager said he would comp all but our drinks under pa law (A LIE). I am disgusted. Our drink total might have been $20. Such a mess. Never in my life have I been so disrespected . Ps two of the three people I was with WHO DIDNT EVEN EAT MY PIZZA SAID THEY HAD SCRATCHY THROATS LIKE THEY ATE PLASTIC. Plus the manager ADMITTED WE ATE PLASTIC!!! Said he found the problem! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

This was my absolute favorite bar in West Chester. Best cheesesteaks around. Tonight they served us a pizza with plastic brush bristles throughout it, then they comped our food but made us pay for the beers, when they said they had looked into it and we definitely were right, the brush was missing bristles after they put oil on our pizza. After we ate plastic. Think a disintegrating paint brush. The bartender was very accommodating. The manager was less than accommodating considering we just ate a paint brush. When my dining mate posted about it on Yelp, the manager literally accused us of trying to get free food. Screen shot posted below.

I was excited for the food but unfortunately it was all pretty flavorless. I know British food is usually pretty bland but as someone who's lived in the UK, I know what to expect. Pretty disappointing. Weck Egg Roll- very crispy but not much flavor. Greasy. The creamy horseradish is good Bangers and mash- potatoes are good; fluffy and creamy. Sausages are good, savory and slightly sweet Shepards pie- weird flavor. The lamb changed the whole flavor. Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream- very good. Not overly sweet. The ice cream is a nice touch. Single stall gender neutral bdthrooms- kinda gross as a girl bc there's pee all over the floor by the toilet

In fact, he said that he recognized a few of the staff there from the many times he'd been there before, though he hadn't been there in more recent years. Nice to have that history, and it's a charming spot - not modern like Sly Fox also in town, but I really appreciate the dive vibes! Each of us ordered a beer (I ordered an Icelandic one, which was quite nice), pretty great price on beer IMO, and the food was on point as well. I ordered chicken wings with buffalo sauce, and they tasted great! Service was pretty great - our server was attentive and swung by a good amount of times to check on us, as we sat in the corner to try to have a little less noise vs being right by the bar. She's the one that my friend said he recognized from years past. Overall I definitely appreciated this spot and would absolutely be open to returning!

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.
