When dine-in was open, we decided to try out Teaspoon and support local businesses. The first time was such a great experience, that we went back two more times and ordered pick up for Father's Day. All seatings were at least 6' apart inside and on the patio. All servers were wearing masks, meals were brought out promptly, and you paid at the table. We love the skillet meals and omelettes. Teaspoon is the cutest spot for brunch if you are in North Tucson / Oro Valley! We came on a Saturday afternoon and were seated and served quickly. The menu offers a wide variety of choices that sounded so good, it was difficult to choose. Many of the skillets and omelets had meat in them, but I opted for the bubble waffle and it did not disappoint! It came with clotted cream and strawberries on top and is probably the tastiest waffle I have ever eaten. My friend ordered the Southwest skillet, which is a medium sized skillet served in the pan. I have to admit, it looked so good I was jealous the whole time. They also had a code puzzle on the chalkboard, which was a fun touch. We will definitely be back! read more

A friend and I had lunch at teaspoon on Tuesday, 2/12/24, approximately 1:45. The restaurant was not very busy at that time as it was later in the day. I ordered what I always order, the crab Benedict. When it came, the poached eggs were hard, there was a thick crust on the Hollandaise cup, and the salad was wilted and brown. The waitress was unhelpful but eventually I was able to get a replacement of fresh greens from someone else. An offer to replace my entire dish finally came (not from her), albeit late, when my friend was 3/4 done with her meal and the waiting for a replacement meal for me wouldn't work. It was clear to me that my food had sat way too long under the warming lamp in the kitchen in order for it to be in that condition. I was not offered money off for even half my meal (I ate one of the two Benedicts, and only one, because I had to eat something). The potatoes were the only edible thing on my plate. I have been a loyal customer and I was appalled with this entire experience. What a shame. read more

AMAZING FOOD! Such a cute brunch spot too! We went on a Saturday so there was a bit of a wait but plenty to do while you wait! We got the bubble waffle (amazing!)! 10/10 would recommend! We also got their omelette, loaded potato skillet, and breakfast bowl! They have the best potatoes! Get the potatoes! The food also comes out fast! Only downside was the service from our waiter! By the time we got seated the restaurant was about 1/2 full and he didn't check on us at all after we got our food and took us about 30 minutes after we were done to get his attention to get the check because he was too busy constantly refilling the table across from us mimosas. Disappointed. Went today for Mothers Day, had never been here before. When I was taken to my seat outside, and looked at the cushion, I was kinda horrified! It was filthy dirty and had holes in it. When I told the waitress, she seemed to act like maybe I was being a little over dramatic?! Our waiter looked like he matched the cushion! We discovered this cute little place when we popped in next door for a drink on afternoon. We immediately decided to try Teaspoon for breakfast the following morning. We were set outside in the courtyard within a few minutes and enjoyed a tasty breakfast! The menu offers a nice variety of both savory & sweet options, all prepared with fresh ingredients & presented nicely. Service was top notch, the server had no problem letting me create my own plate (ham & cheese omelet with fresh sliced tomatoes & avocado on the side, no potatoes)! Actually, hk waffle is not really authentic like the one I had in HK but still tasted good with sweet cream and strawberries.(and my friend is originally from HK, so she knows better than I do). Celebrated my Aunts birthday on the patio here. The weather was amazing, patio was comfortably spaced, and service was great. The Dutch baby, a cast iron German pancake, was delicious! It was not too sweet, had the perfect texture, soft but was a flakey crust. All around amazing! read more

What a cute spot in Casa Adobes. Would definitely recommend for brunch. Their mimosa and entree is a great deal at 28 dollars! Only includes orange juice, not cranberry or grapefruit. Sometimes they have special prickly pair mimosas also. Their bubble waffle is incredible. I am not really a fan of sweets for breakfast but this waffle is amazing! Great omelets and their skillets are great. Great ambiance and environment. Service is pretty standard, nothing spectacular. They also host a lot of painting nights which have been fun. read more

The best brunch I have ever had!!! This was my first visit to Teaspoon and what a gem! My sister and I went for a birthday brunch. We got bloody marys to start. They were amazing and perfectly spicy! My sister got a breakfast sandwich and mini pancakes. She loved everything! I have to eat gluten free so I was pleasantly surprised with the list of options I had! I ordered the eggs benedict with ham on gluten free bread. This did not taste gluten free in the least bit!!! It was delicious! I also had to try the gluten free blueberry and cream french toast. I can't even put into words how tasty this dish is! Fresh blueberries and the cream was decadent! I was in food heaven! Not to mention our service was fantastic! Food was delicious but the restaurant is clearly understaffed. We arrived in time for brunch and were told there would be a 20-25 minute wait for first available table. There were at least 10 empty tables. Our waiter wasn't very friendly, perhaps because she was the only one serving. This is my third time coming and the service is always the same. read more

2019 Update: I like teaspoons but every time we come here I have an overwhelming desire to bus their tables for them. The wait staff seem to bus their own tables and it never gets done. Right now there are five empty bar seats and they won't seat at the bar and four un-bused tables. Tons of people are waiting. We have seen this again and again. This is a lovely space with a great indoor outdoor feel and a pretty patio facing the fountain in the courtyard. Love the atmosphere. The food was excellent. We shared the ABC omelette with a side of potatoes and pancakes. It was perfect for two light eaters. Shared a Bloody Mary. The service was excellent. Had a great time there. Things I really like about today's experience: getting here at 8:30ish there was very little wait to be seated, casa adobes provides a great venue for patio dining when the mornings are cool, the food today was great (I had the chorizo omlet). Recommendations: Steak omlet= yes (they are actual omlets not scramles) Chorizo omlet= yes Capachino= yes Bloody Mary= no Looking forward to more visits like today. I love teaspoon. My friends and I dine here often. I pretty much always get the chilaquiles without chicken but add egg. Not spicy but so flavorful. The savory crepe and hazelnut crepe are also mouthwatering. I haven't loved their buffet for Mother's Day though. Overall had a great brunch. It was the week between Christmas and New Year so expected it to be busy. The food was great - The Eggs Benedict with ham didn't disappoint. The eggs and hollandaise sauce were perfect. The english muffins here are thick and delicious. Service was good - like many restaurants, there didn't seem to be enough servers to handle all of the tables they had available, so we waited about 20 minutes to sit down. One of our meals wasn't delivered with the rest of them, but when we asked about it, the server brought it right out. read more

The Croque Madame was pretty tastywith the sausage gravy on top of 2 eggs and a ham and swiss sandwich. I think it would have been better if the sandwich was grilled to be a little more crispy since it all got a little soggy with the gravy and runny egg yolk. The location is nice, and the little patio in the courtyard is lovely. It's a cute setup. The service was good, and we really enjoyed our breakfast. We didn't test the quality of the Bar but look forward to giving it a try next time. The Hong Kong bubble waffle was interesting and tasty. The chicken w/biscuits and gravy was quite good.
