Finally got to check out the newest boba spot in Flushing, right next to Molly Tea (my faveee). Line was an hour long during their grand opening where there was a BOGO offer for their milk tea set (where you could pick and choose which you got for free). They were also running a special where you could lottery skincare or other gifts with each order (I got $2 off a future order). Unfortunately they didn't have any boba with the milk tea options, but I believe that'll change once they open more fully since there was a crazy amount of traffic in the store already. The teas and options are pretty similar to Molly Tea, but the flavor is pointedly less floral. Some of my friends preferred this more as it had more bitter notes but I personally like Molly Tea a bit more - especially when you do a side by side comparison of flavors. I did also try their egg tarts which were sooo good. Outside was crisp and flakey and the inside had so much filling, way more than any Portuguese egg tart or Chinese dan tats I've ever had. Not sure Id wait an hour again but if the line is reasonable, will def be back!! read more

Excellent Cheese Thai Tea boba which was what I was craving for in this warm summer heat. The flavor was spot on with the nice complimentary cheese foam and freshly made tapioca. I also was able to try their Orchid Cheese tea which had a nice and subtle floral flavor as well as their Osmanthus milk tea- another light and refreshing drink. Service could be "faster", but I understood that they overcompensated with the amount of orders being made last call late at night before closing, so it was a bit of a wait for drinks which caused a queue to form inside. The employees seemed generally happy, gracious and accommodating to their customers and apologized for the wait which was appreciated. I've yet to try their other drinks, but they all seem delicious and reasonably priced based on the competition surrounding the area. The place is bright with minimal tables with no bathroom; it's a good place to grab and go if you're looking for a new bubble tea shop to try. Those 3 drinks are a definite must try. There's no seating not store is kind of spacious for picking ups. Tea itself is not bad at all. Got the chrysanthemum one and lined how's fragrant it is the first time I had it. Unfortunately, second time I had it felt like it was a lot more watered down (before ice got to melt). I'd like to give more stars but I feel like they don't got much of a system going on. First few days the drink itself took almost an hour to be made. I know they were packed with super long lines cuz they are new. But when I visited again when there wasn't too long of a line but wait was still for a while. It didn't look like they had any huge orders as well. The boba shop isn't too large, so there's only enough room to stand in line or wait for your order. Stopped by Tea Pulse to try their famous Portuguese Egg Tarts. Was surprised that there was no line on a Friday afternoon. The inside was really nice and elegant and I was able to quickly order 2 egg tarts. They were packed in a cute box and bag and survived unscathed on a 45 min trek home. The egg tarts were very eggy and sweet with a smooth custard and a super buttery and flakey crust. They were a bit pricey at around $3.50 each but they were a good size. Not just people that ordered in-store but also those that ordered through the apps. Anyway, I got the mango yogurt smoothie and my boyfriend got the lemon jumbo limbo? and two egg tarts. Only ordered two since I wasn't sure if we'll like it and if it'll be overly sweet. The drinks took foreverrrrrr but if you only ordered the tarts, you can go to the side counter to pick them up. Which I didn't know but w/e since we were waiting for the drinks. In total; we waited about 20-30 mins, no joke for our drinks. Well, the drinks were pretty good. The mango yogurt smoothie had chucks of mangos and they actually use yogurt as we saw them carry tubs of yogurt. The lemon jumbo drink is HUGE! Very lemony and refreshing. NOW! the tarts - they are different and not what I expected. They were very crispy, buttery and not overly sweet at all. The crust / outer layer reminded us of a croissant. Pastel de nata ( Portuguese egg tart) is delicious. Properly it's THE BEST in NYC at this moment. Crust is flaky and filling is soft. Unless you're very lucky, you need to wait for the goodies coming out from the oven. They do have a bake time schedule for you to follow. You can prepay and get the order ticket and pickup later. No need to wait the line again when you are back. If you want to get more then 6 tarts, ask your friend to come together. You can get only 6 tarts at a time. read more

Got their mango Mochi Slush and thought it was just okay. Also wanted to get the grape slush but that was sold out. The egg tarts were also a 40 minutes wait so couldn't get it. Stopped by twice in 2 days to figure out the hype. TLDR the drinks are SWEEET and the eggtarts are good but be prepared to wait and come back for them. Also they are basically an egg tart (aka eggy) and not a pastel de nata (thick custard). The first time i stopped by was late at night and just ordered the passionfruit jasmine tea. I ordered it at 50% sweetness but found my drink veryy sweet. I honestly dont think the 30% sweet eould be enough and may get 0% sugar if i ever go back. The reason i went back tho was to try their egg tarts! The first day i stopped by i could see 20+ egg tarts on the tray but the casheir (very confusingly) said the egg tarts were sold out? I found out that they are so in demand you basically pre-order them on the spot and have to comeback in x minutes which us when the next batch comes out. On day 2 i arrived early and ordered 6 egg tarts (which was the max per person). I ended up having to wait 40ish mins for the next batch but cant complain because I was able to get flakey warm egg tarts. The pastry was buttery and flakey & delish BUT this definitely wasnt a pastel de nata like how its advertised and definitely is more like an egg tart. The jumbo lemonade oolong tea was refreshing and flavorful! They use lime so it gives a nice flavor compared to lemon and you can taste the floral oolong tea! One of the better lemon teas I've had! I will say the milk tea itself isn't as good as the next door's unfortunately...but it's ok! Each store can have its signature drink and I think the fruit teas are it here! read more

Came for the egg tarts (or pastéis de Nata), received some as a house warming gift a while ago and was craving some recently! I'm not an egg custard enthusiast (I don't typically eat it) but these are so good that I was actually craving them. I think I love the crust more than anything, it's so flaky and buttery (remains crispy even w/ microwave time). The egg custard is pretty eggy and not overly sweet but the ratio of crust to custard is just right (I like more crust). Just makes you crave more! I'm not a big fan of cinnamon so these w/o the cinnamon dust are just perfect. I can see why not everyone is thrilled about the custard, it's definitely more eggy than it is creamy. But I actually enjoy that; compared to the ones at Paris Baguette (which are not only smaller, more expensive, and just bleck) this is just more fulfilling. What really stood out was their Portuguese egg tarts. Flaky crispy tarts filled with a generous amount of egg custard and caramelized sugar. Since then I've managed to brave the lines 2x for them. It's hard to find such excellent Portuguese egg tarts since the New Flushing Bakery closed.
