a table full of food

Favorite churrasqueira in long island hands down. This place gets super busy everyday they are open. Just so you know what you're getting into. This joint is tightly packed with tables full of people. Don't expect personal space. But it's part of the experience. Expect there to be a wait, they don't take small reservations. But if you get there towards the end of the night or right at the beginning there's no real wait time. If you're itching for real good food and can't stand the wait. Head over to the bar. There's usually always sitting there. And they serve the full menu there too. But if you perfer a table, make sure to head to the hostess stand and put your name and number with her immediately to get on the waiting list. trust me the wait is worth it!! The full experience is hearty and generous. Everything is so full of flavor, hot and cut fresh onto your plate. The sides are plenty and complement the meats perfectly. Their fries are my favorite side. They are better than five guys fries. You have to try their chicken! Some of the best chicken on the island. But don't fill up, cause you have to save room for dessert. Their whipped egg whites and raspberry tart are to die for! I always take home their whipped egg whites. It's taste like perfectly whipped vanilla cream with layers of gram crumbles and a light caramel. Absolute perfection!

Review 300! This restaurant is excellent. The service is quick and attentive. The food is top notch. So much is included with whatever entree you order: salad, olives, bread, French fries, broccoli, carrots, and rice. Order a bunch of entrees to split around the table, or order the rodizio. Either way, get ready to indulge in wonderful food. Would 100% come back and can't wait to do so.

This was my first time here and I was glad we made it. The food is simple, yet delicious. We each got an entree (steak, baby back ribs, and garlic shrimp). They were big enough to share. Sides are also served family style and tasty as well. I would go back.

My husband is Portuguese & we decided to try this restaurant out! We came on Saturday around 5pm & we were seated right away. Staff had masks & they brought us water, bread, and salad after we were seated. We always get the Portuguese sausages as starters and i must say these were great! They tasted a bit different than what were used to, but it had a kick of spicy which made it fun. We ordered the churrasco & prime rib which was delicious and each steak was honestly enough for two people! The sides were delicious and fresh as well! We couldn't finish everything so we wrapped it up to go and of course I had to get my fave Portuguese dessert: HEAVENLY WHITES! Idk what it is but just get it. It's awesome!!! All waitstaff, managers, and busboys were friendly and attentive. Will be going back!

Came out for my birthday last week with my wife and some friends. Ive been here before and love some rodizio. My advice would be to come hungry. Also dont fill up too much on the sides. They will start you with salad and olives then strap in for meat galore. Sides will be rice, fried banana, french fries, veggies and a sauce that is super hot. Turkey wrapped in bacon is my absolute favorite. Everything has a wonderful flavor. The heavenly whites is an absolute for dessert. If you let them know its a birthday celebration they will come out with a saxophone to sing happy birthday.

Waiting to be seated, well worth the wait! Deliciousness !!

A lot of people seem to give high praises of this place. Several friends and family even…read morerecommended to me. Of course the beast in me have to try! First off, yeah its a bbq/ hotpot kind of joint. AYCE of course. I have to say the little personal hotpots they give us are cute. The broth choices doesn't seem to matter tbh. Eventually you're chucking all types of seafood and meats that will make your broth good regardless. The pot is a bit on the smaller side if you choose 2 different broths. Hoping the 1 flavor one would be bigger but its the same. Cause of the split pot inside. As for the choices it's pretty standard hotpot stuff. Nothing too crazy to write home about. The grill side was a bit on the disappointment. Sure they have "marinated meats" but when I went they just chuck frozen galbi on top of the marinated meat. Not sure if they didn't have enough time for prep but I felt like the workers are just throwing things in for us animals to eat regardless of flavors. The cook station and sushi station was probably the most disappointing stations of them all. Majority of the cooked foods were cold. you would assume theres some kind of heat light warmer or steam bath to keep the foods warm but nope... most of them were just out and about and cold. The sushi station was lack lustered... selections were limited. Just your average carb city and fillers. The sashimi were not appealing imo. Overall, i felt like this place maybe good for younger audiences or family outings. Kids will like it cause of all the different types of fried/fast food styles. Also... just a tip for some of you out there. If you see raw oysters and raw clams with ice cubes on them... it's for HOT POT to COOK THEM IN! If you want the legit ones goto the sushi station for them... DONT EAT THE ONES AT THE HOTPOT STATION! MOST LIKELY YOU WILL GET SICK IF YOU DO! I'm pretty sure their were signs that state that ...but saw some of these "adults" SLURPING AWAY before even making it to the table... and im like...bro is gonna be on the toilet for sure... SO yeah.. BE SMART! READ BEFORE STUFFING YOUR FACE WITH THE RAW STUFF!

As someone born & raised in flushing who grew up eating hotpot/kbbq, and often still eats hotpot -…read moreI'm honestly very impressed by the quality of K-city. I will preface this by saying I consider K-city a 5/5 for Long Island - probably a 4/5 if K-city was in Queens tbh. If i was in the Nassau area I default to K-city vs. Kpot! I mainly go to K-city for the hotpot vs. the kbbq/hot food selection. The bbq is okay but the grill itself is pretty small. The prepared food selection is also okay, includes both hot food & sushi but I mainly consider it as food to eat while my hotpot is getting ready (lol). The broths are very legit with the variety offered being spicy (mala with the Szechuan peppercorns), mushroom, pork bone, herbal ( I believe is a mix of pork & chicken + herbs), tomato and mushroom. My favorite thus far have been the spicy & herbal! I appreciate that the meats are also included in the buffet section as well so I can control the quantity as opposed to some other hotpot/bbq places where the meats come pre-portioned. I think the main drawback of K-City as opposed to Spring Shabu (my personal 2nd favorite choice in nassau) is definitely the veggie selection & quality. Having said that, the veggie selection is okay and has the main things I get like the enoki mushrooms, napa cabbage, broccoli and noodles.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and I had the chance to meet the owner, Bobby, who was very approachable and took the time to introduce himself. My interactions him and his team I would rate 5-stars. I value supporting Black-owned businesses, which made the visit even more meaningful. One piece of constructive feedback: I ordered fried whiting, and the fish I received did not appear to be whiting. The fish was okay overall, but I would have appreciated being informed if it was unavailable so I could have chosen something else. I'm currently avoiding red meat, chicken, and pork and eating fish only during this Lenten season, so I'm especially particular about my food orders. Because of that, not receiving what I requested was disappointing. For that reason alone, I'd rate the food 3 stars. Because the overall experience was pleasant, I will give a 4 star rating--as I do plan to return to explore other items on the menu. I might order the whiting again, but will confirm the order before leaving and will return to sample more of the menu, especially since my parents love barbecue.

Even as the hostess was assisting another guest. She made sure to acknowledge that we entered the space, and the customer service continued at that level from entry to exit. The set up is cool. Has a restaurant, lounge and event space blend. Perfect for multiple opportunities to cover a patrons needs. On to the food. We ordered food to go. We tried different options as there were four of us. Portions were plentiful and packed well. My son says he really enjoyed the bbq burnt ends. I tried the ribs and Mac and cheese, my wife the pulled pork and spicy cabbage. Rounding the order out was mom, she tried the fried chicken dinner with cabbage and yams. I'd say the only item we didn't quite enjoy was the potato salad, left a little to be desired but all in all, everyone enjoyed their meals. I'm certain it would have been even better had we eaten in the restaurant as the food was freshly made.

We were seated within 10 min of arriving, meanwhile there were probably 100 people in the foyer waiting. We sat in the bar area at a table. Jef was our waiter and he was attentive with refilling drinks. The complimentary bread and cinnamon butter was good. We came to celebrate my brother's birthday and he is part of their rewards program. On their website they advertise that you get a free app on your birthday however he never got the email with the coupon. When we explained this to Vilma the manager, she basically blamed it on corporate rules and would not budge on allowing the free app. First disappointing experience! Make sure you ask for peanuts or else they don't automatically bring them. I thought the portion size for the price was great. I had the 3 filet medallions with rice, a baked potato and Caesar salad. Steak was cooked medium, just how I ordered it. I wasn't a fan of the chicken tenders as they weren't crispy enough. The ribs were delicious and fell off the bone. We ordered the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert and wanted to sing to my brother. We waited 15 min for it to arrive. When Jef arrived with it, there was no ice cream on top and no candle to sing happy birthday. We were disappointed and Jef apologized saying they ran out of ice cream and he couldn't find the candles. He asked if we still wanted to dessert but didn't say it would be comped (since it wasn't what we originally ordered) so we declined. Overall, the food was pretty average. Portions are large! Their customer service skills are lacking, but it sounds like they have their hands tied with lots of corporate rules and regulations.
