    NY strip steak

My husband was craving a steak and wanted to find a reasonably priced steak at a local restaurant. Vincent's Steakhouse delivered a wonderful meal. Hubby got the strip steak with mac n cheese and sauted spinach. I had the boneless ribeye with Parmesan garlic potatoes and mushrooms and onions. The steaks were cooked beautifully and delicious! The sides were yummy, too. Our appetizer was the mussels in scampi sauce and although the mussels were tiny the scampi sauce was excellent! And we had the Fall Sangria which was fabulous! It was a great meal!

    40oz. Porterhouse Steak

Its a great place, service is fantastic, atmosphere is really nice, its one of those non formal steak houses. The drinks where great, seafood aps very tasty. We had the porterhouse for 2, perfectly cooked. Odd was we only had 2 side choice but we god mac and cheese and creamed spinach. Both were ok but could use some focus and jazzing up. Desert was super, carrot cake and lava cake were great. Nice place, pinch and only a pinch pricey but we will go again.

Tough to review this place because the service was really good towards the end but none of us really enjoyed our meal and said we wouldn't come back. We walked in Sunday 2:30pm. There are about 5-6 tables occupied. We stand there for a bit. No hostess, looked like only waitress was making drinks. After standing there awkwardly for a few minutes the waitress instructs us to sit where we want. We came for restaurant week so we order from there. Hubby buffalo wings, my son honey bbq and I get Cesar salad. Everything was good, not great. Just meh. Lunch: . Hubby orders steak well done, don't judge him, and when he cut it I knew he wouldn't like it but he's not one to return food so he did his best. Honestly it was red. My chicken Milanese was really crunchy but flavorless. Idk. Son's burger, had no mayo or ketchup, no special sauce, nothing. Bread fell apart and the fries were ok. Overall we were underwhelmed. After we sat service improved dramatically and they were friendly and quick.

    Surprise birthday cake!

Went there for the first time to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. At the end of the meal, they made a beautiful cake slice presentation and fuss over her birthday, which we didn't ask for they just did it on their own! We all ordered off the brunch menu, and I had the cannoli cream French toast, oh my God it might've been one of the best things I've ever eaten! Our waitress was so adorable and friendly. We will come back!

On Friday night, I went to Vincent's Steakhouse in Wantagh. We decided to give it a try, especially since there were so many excellent reviews on Facebook in the local groups. My friend and I are both foodies so it is nice to give great feedback for a place that truly deserves it. The staff are very hard working and accomodating. Vincent, the owner, made room for us even though we made a last-minute reservation. He is truly a great guy who runs a wonderful establishment. There is limited parking out front but plenty out back. The interior of the restaurant is simple but classy. On Friday nights, there are live bands. The band played a lot of songs from the Rat Pack. It was quite a sophisticated atmosphere. There is no dress code, but most people dressed appropriately. There were a few young couples dressed in jeans, but that's their generation for you. Vincent's has a very nice cocktail selection and wine selection to choose from. On their main menu, the appetizers are very appealing. You may wind up trying more than you can eat. We opted to try their pre fixe menu for Restaurant Week. Everything was delicious! Jessica, our beautiful and ever so polite server, recommended the Beer Cheese Soup. It was spectacular, to say the least. I normally would never have tried it, but all of her suggestions were spot on. My friend ordered the mussels, which came with a zesty broth, just the smell of the garlic made your mouth water. They served us cornbread with jalapeños and a cinnamon butter. The bread was fabulous, but I'm not a fan of the cinnamon, so we opted for regular whipped butter. The portions are not skimpy whatsoever. In fact, there was a lot of food leftover that we took home. This is the perfect spot for date night, getting together with friends or family or even dining alone. The music just makes the environment very inviting. I look forward to coming back here very soon. The reviews did not do this place justice. It was that good. I'd have to say this is in my top 10 restaurants on Long Island.

    Ribeye
    Richard Z.

Service was good. Sangria was excellent. But the steak was disappointing to be honest. A steakhouse without a bone in ribeye just doesn't do it for me. The dry aged ribeye was thin, a little overdone for the ordered rare temp, and unexpectedly came with a sauce poured over it. It just wasn't worth it in my opinion. Can get a better not dry aged, but prime ribeye, larger and bone in, not too far away. Will keep an eye on reviews and if they change it up, would consider returning.

Old steakhouse feel, professional service staff and good quality meats. One of the better steakhouses on Long Island.

We were able…read moreto walk in towards the end of dinner service on a Saturday and get a table for two without a reservation. Nothing but great things to say. Walk in, the open kitchen to your left (seems like a brilliant use of the space layout they had to work with). Meet the smiling host, then straight into the dining room. The dining room is elevated for North Bellmore, white tablecloths, lighting, fixtures, plates, silverware - they spent a few bucks making it nice. We ordered too much, which happens when eating late after skipping lunch.... Apps: 1. The grilled halloumi was great - sometimes it can get rubbery - not here. They were served over thick sliced roasted tomatoes which held up just enough to get some grill marks as well. I could have done without the glaze, but it was still ok. 2. Tuna tartare - deep red tuna, diced, over avocado - well plated, good dish. 3. Couldn't decide on a grilled fish app, so went with the grilled seafood sampler - amazing flavor on it all - calamari, shrimp and octopus all tender and kissed just enough on that open flame. Knife work on the garnishes and plating was done by someone who cares. Diced peppers under the calamari must've been quickly pickled - they had great flavor and kept just enough crunch to make a great dish even better. For entrees - went with the grilled salmon and ribeye steak... couldn't believe it was as good as it was for the price. Salmon was delicious, juicy, and even the skin on (plated skin down) was perfect - which I can never do, especially on a grill. The ribeye was delicious - lots of rib-cap, perfectly medium-rare, even on a hot plate, and I could swear the chef might have predicted cook time to put the more rare side plate down to make it become a medium steak by the time it hit the table. And the fries..... ohhhhhh the fries..... I'm a sucker for french fries when done right, and I ordered these fries and apps alone, it would have been a perfect meal.... perfectly hot, crispy, and plentiful. Stuffed, packed up some of the entrees for leftovers, and skipped desert and coffee - it was late. But will deffff be back and can't wait to try some of the offerings on that menu. Oh and here's a tip... if you park facing the restaurant at night, turn off your headlights as you're pulling into the spot. Was it a particularly flawless night, or is this the norm? Will report back after going back - will deff be back.

We went last night for dinner. It's a seafood dominant restaurant but some good non fish choices…read more We got the 4 choice mezze appetizer. The hummus and skotdalia were standouts. They give you pita and eggplant dip to start as well. We got a greek salad with lettuce added on and it was fresh, crisp and dressing was good. I got the organic roast chicken and it came with lemon potato and steamed broccoli & cauliflower. i wish the latter had some seasoning, though. My husband got spanakopita and he said it was ok. Service was attentive and the place looks like it was recently renovated. Parking lot is small so we had to park across the street.
