Cavatelli and Burrata (spicy vodka sauce and burrata) - add chicken cutlet. heaven.
Jess V.

Such a hidden gem. The food is always incredible and service is always on point. Cute little restaurant so if wanting to go at a busier time definitely try to get a reservation. The cavatelli and burrata and pesto rigatoni are my top two pastas (love to add chicken cutlet to both as it's so thin and perfectly crispy and delicious). The baked clams and sausage and broccoli rabe egg rolls are both amazing as well!

I loved this restaurant! I went with my boyfriend and sat outside and enjoyed the prettiest view. I also enjoyed that the service was prompt and that our waitress was very courteous. Finally, the food was delicious and was enough for leftovers, which I appreciated.

Came here for a nice girls night and was not disappointed. It was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday so we grabbed a round of drinks at the bar while we waited for a table-bartender was super friendly. I stuck to wine the whole night until dessert where I had to get the pumpkin espresso martini. I'm here for all the fall drinks and this was divine! We started with the broccoli rabe egg rolls-not my fav but the others enjoyed them. For entrees, we split the shrimp monachino-omg this dish was to die for. It was so flavorful, it was my favorite of the 3. We also got the cavatelli with burrata and the chicken saltimbocca ...the chicken was ok but would prob try something different next time but the pasta was excellent. The portions were huge, very easily split 3 ways and our server Ryan was very friendly. I would def come again.

We came here twice so I felt like it was time to give a review. The first time we sat outside during the summer in the little alleyway which was nicely decorated with string lights. The last time we went we sat inside of course. It is a quaint little Italian restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet. We jumped right into our meals this time, but last time we enjoyed the broccoli rabe egg rolls. I had the spicy rigatoni which was a spicy a la vodka sauce topped with 2 burrata balls and my husband had a fish special stuffed with lobster. We ended with cappuccinos and creme brulee which was delicious. You won't go home hungry!

In an area saturated with restaurants it is hard to find a great one let alone a great one that has been around for a while. Classy and delicious is the first thing that comes to mind. Professional and friendly service too. Large portions and a varied and interesting menu. Chicken, Veal, and a huge bowl of seafood Frutta di Mare are the stars. Well-lit yet intimate setting and tolerable noise level round out a great dining experience. Full bar and wine list reservations are a must and parking lot behind the restaurant can get crowded. Come here.

This intimate restaurant with a cute outdoor space seemed perfect for a small birthday gathering with family. Overall the food was decent, we tried the tortellini soup which was REALLY good. All the entrees were good. The flounder my MIL got was pretty small but all other meals were well portioned and came with pasta or side salad. Our waitress attempted to be nice, but I just didn't get a great vibe from her as her answers were short and at times, rude. All other staff were friendly and helpful. I'm glad we tried this restaurant but not sure I'd go back.

We had my daughter's baby shower at Cara Mia in Seaford, and it went so great that I had to write a review. Sergio is managing the restaurant and he spoke with me on the phone and met with me several times before the big day. He was patient, kind, gave me great suggestions and was very responsive. He was so flexible- every request I had was "no problem"! Jose and Ashley were working our party and they were both excellent. Their service was impeccable. They were polite, obviously very knowledgeable and efficient. The quality of the food was outstanding, as usual. Many of our guests had never been to Cara Mia before- but now it's on their list of great restaurants to eat at. Cara Mia Restaurant in Seaford is an excellent venue for a private party! Great for just a regular dinner as well

When we walked in, it felt more like a busy pizzeria with a dining area than the trendy spot we were expecting. The place was packed, and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, we noticed right away that the menu didn't match what we had seen online. In the videos, every pasta dish came with burrata, but here it was an extra charge. The bread bowl itself was also a $7 add-on, which pushed the $25 pasta dishes to nearly $40 each -- a price that simply doesn't make sense for what you get. Staff was friendly, but the busboys seemed completely untrained, and service overall was slow. We did receive our minestrone soup quickly, but it was just okay. The soup's kidney beans and chickpeas were noticeably undercooked. When the pasta arrived, the disappointment continued. The burrata, which we paid extra for, was cold and hard rather than creamy. Even the waitress seemed surprised when we pointed it out. We also noticed that the regular pasta dishes (served in normal bowls) were much larger portions than the bread-bowl pastas -- despite the bread bowls costing more. At the end of the meal, the reality became clear: the bread-bowl trend is more gimmick than substance. With two pasta dishes and one soup totaling around $100, the value just isn't there. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Don't be fooled by what you see on social media -- the experience simply doesn't live up to the hype.

So this past Sunday we checked the website and the Sunday Family Day specials were still listed. Our family went to celebrate a birthday and planned on ordering off that menu. After being seated I noticed we were missing that menu so I asked our server and was told, they no longer offer that menu. We were all seated and had started ordering drinks by that time so we stayed. My disappointment and frustration is the menu was and still is today as I write this, listed on the website. I believe the menu should have been honored since the restaurant is still advertising it and the same entries are and were still be offered, just at a higher price.

We went early because we were seeing a show. 5:30 pm on a Friday. So restaurant wasn't busy at all yet. What was a little frustrating was that waiter came over three times to get main dinner order. I don't understand the rush. We were eating the appetizer and almost done. No indication that we were in a rush. Yet he felt the need to come over again and interrupt to get the dinner order. As opposed to letting us finish the appetizer, clear table. And then come back. I know it's ingrained to flip tables. But come on. Otherwise. Highly recommend

4.5 First time…read moredining at Baccaro, we arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday night and while there weren't many tables taken, they were reserved. We got a high top table in the bar area which was fine. Reservations seem to be a must. People started pouring in and the restaurant and bar filled up rather quickly. The wait staff is just lovely, especially our server Andrew. They start you off with some warm crusty bread and a trio of options for it; butter, olive oil and a cheese spread. We started off with the eggplant meatballs and they were delicious. Served with a lovely tomato sauce, ricotta and some cheese shavings, they were so so good. For the entrees we went for the Pork Osso Bucco and there was a daily special for a Lamb Osso Bucco. First of all the portions are huge, their "dinner plates" are really platters. So while prices are on the high side you get a ton of food; and I must say the food warrants the price. Back to the entrees, the pork Osso Bucco was sublime. The meat shank was super tender and the sauce was superb. Served with a fantastic squash risotto and garlicky zucchini zoodles, it was all perfect and I had a another full dinner to bring home. The lamb version was unctuous and delicious, topped with a demi glaze, served with risotto and asparagus it was another fabulous dish. Baccaro is a wonderful spot for a fantastic meal in a lively, comfortable setting.

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very sweet and managed a basically full bar attending to every guest with care. We ordered the Italian nachos which we loved and the Picasso. The nachos had a generous amount of crumbled sausage cheese and bruschetta as well as some spicy peppers. We really enjoyed the nachos. The Picasso was a nice size, but the sandwich lacked a little seasoning and needed a little more balsamic. It felt kind of dry. For cocktails we got the strawberry lemon drop, it tasted a little medicinal and the cucumber lime spritz type drink(I can't recall the exact name). This one was very good. An overall very mixed experience but I want to give it another shot even if only for the nachos
