Has a lunch there and the place was clean and inviting. Has a nice menu and service was excellent. I'm thinking that being off season made it a bit slow. Food and presentation was excellent.

This was.... cannolis a bottle of whine and a delicious espresso martini

Exactly what we were looking for, a hidden GEM! From friendly service to the warm intimate comfortable dining and the best authentic Italian I've ever had! We basically licked our plates clean! We started with the meatballs, I would highly recommend! All of our mains were perfect with homemade pasta! The waitress was very attentive, my husband loved the decor in the bathroom and was in awe of how clean everything was! This entire dining experience was *chefs kiss* perfect

My friend and I stopped in for lunch on a Monday. The door was shut and the parking lot was empty but upon checking they were open! We were greeted by Kalyne who was super friendly and provided exceptional service. She makes a mean margarita! The cheesesteak sandwich and asparagus were excellent. Highly recommended if you're in the Freeport area!

I went here on Saturday nite around 5:40 pm. We were told immediately the restaurant was closing for a private party and 7. We felt that would be ok. About 15 minutes later a party of 5 came in. They had reservations for 6 pm and they were seated. Five minutes later they were told they would need to eat and leave by 7. They were really really angry. I like the ambiance of this restaurant. The lights are low, there are tablecloths on the tables and cloth napkins. I wish they would have served a bread basket before dinner. We ordered the Italian egg rolls. I absolutely loved them! They are garlicky with a hint of spice, possible from the hot sausage. The mozzarella was melted and goooey. The roll itself was crispy and delicious. I would definitely order these next time I return. I had the swordfish and it was drizzled with some sort of peppercorn sauce. That sauce was peppery and delicious and I wished there was more. Unfortunately I felt the fish was overcooked - a little too tough for me. But the sauce almost made up for it. It was served with mashed potatoes, which were good, and broccoli rabe, which was cooked perfectly with garlic and oil. The spicy rigatoni alla vodka was delicious. The heat was just right and the portion was plentiful. Delicious! I will definitely go back here.

Nunzi's may actually be the best restaurant in Freeport. Now hear me out, the food is exceptional. For lunch I got one of the best burgers I've ever had in the area. Came here for the dinner the other night with family - the pork chop, the short ribs, and the seafood fra diavolo, everything was delicious. (More than likely will be back again tomorrow. They are that good here!) The team is awesome, Mike especially has been fantastic - makes great recommendations, personable, and all around fantastic service! I live 5 minutes away and will definitely be a regular here!

What an incredible meal to celebrate my uncle's birthday! Everything we tried was insanely good. From the appetizers, to the pastas, to the entrees, and dessert. I definitely recommend their new Freeport location. It gives summer vibes with the live music and outdoor seating. My favorite appetizer was probably the homemade Arancini with black garlic truffle aioli. The steak and pastas were all so amazing and cooked perfectly. Don't forget to order dessert. The cannolis and the tiramisu were to die for. Thank you to Chef Bennett, Michael, Giavano, and Alfredo for the amazing service and hospitality. Appetizers: - Arancini - Fried Calamari - Grandma's Meatballs - Watermelon & Feta Salad - Charred Pulpo Pastas: - Spicy Rigatoni alla Vodka w/ shrimp - Linguine in White Clam Sauce - Lobster Pappardelle Entrees: - Grilled Porterhouse Steak - Grilled Calamari Desserts: - Tiramisu - Cannolis

Visiting from Denver and this was a classy but comfortable Italian place by the marina. Mike served me and was fantastic. I had the 1274 gin and juice cocktail, the short ribs with Paperdelle, and a cannoli. Everything was delicious. Would absolutely recommend.

We were seated at a table and took a while to be met by a server. Restaurant had a very traditional Italian restaurant vibe, which was executed well. Took a while for someone to come take our drink order, and we were given bread. Seemed like there was only 1 or 2 servers covering the whole place, so that could have been why it took a bit. Dinner orders were taken, and honestly came out very quickly. I had gotten a brick oven pizza, that was actually very tasty. We opted for some dessert as well, and ended up getting the three ice cream options they had. No picture because our kids devoured them. A cozy little Italian spot close to home. Reminds me of the local place that people come to celebrate life events. Would return for sure

The wood fired oven gives a nice char to the crust and creates nice "bubble trouble" as Portnoy affectionately calls them. If there was a little more sauce and more generous helping of sausage, this pizza would be even better. As it was, we still really enjoyed it. The salad was good too. Lots of dressing but not soggy. Dressing was interestingly slightly sweet but still pleasant. Overall a very enjoyable meal! Next time, will try to eat in.

I understand that not every place is child-friendly, but this is a pizza place! We are excited to introduce our kids to a variety of cuisines from a young age, and we thought pizza would be a good choice. They aren't chicken fingers and fries kinda kids . The food was decent; I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the best pizza I've ever had. However, the meal was overshadowed by the hostess's attitude. Throughout our visit, she kept glaring at us every time one of the kids made even the slightest noise. It felt incredibly unwelcoming. To make matters worse, they do not provide high chairs. When we mentioned that we'd still like to stay despite that, since our one-year-old can sit in a regular chair, it felt like a battle just to get one. It was clear that the hostess was eager for us to leave. Our meal felt rushed, as if we were being timed on how quickly we could eat. Her continual glares were uncomfortable, especially since we were seated right next to the hostess stand. It's unfortunate how much a bad hostess can negatively impact a dining experience. I genuinely hope the management realizes this and considers better training for their staff. Overall, this experience made it clear to me that I won't be returning. They really need to work on creating a welcoming environment for families. Especially because of the town they are located in.

I love the relatively new addition of the volleyball courts and the public workout station at the park along end of the mile. I'm also quite fond of the new restaurants that call the Nautical Mile home, namely Off the Hook and Secret Thai Kitchen. There's also a cute little ice cream shop called Sam's Scoops as well, which has a seriously yummy vegan cookies & cream flavor. My favorite thing to do on the mile is kayaking and spending a whole afternoon on the water. There's even a couple of "secret beach" islands, though they seem sort of inhabited, though fun to explore the perimeters of. Like I said, I really LOVE it here.

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with "How can we help you?" which immediately felt impersonal and not very welcoming for a restaurant setting. It caught me off guard, as I expected a warmer greeting. I asked for a table for two, and despite seeing many empty seats, we were asked if we had a reservation. When I said no, we were told they had many reservations coming in and that we could either wait or return at 8 PM. The interaction felt cold, uninviting, and honestly a bit embarrassing. There was no effort to accommodate us or make us feel valued as potential customers. We chose to leave and went to another restaurant, where we had a much better experience.
