My kids love Tastea and yesterday was a hot day, so I decided to buy them drinks on my way home from work. I ordered ahead thru the app, when I got there, they were still making my drinks. One drink was ordered "less ice", but they filled half cup full of ice, then I saw they pulled out a big portion of the drink, at first I thought they forgot to add boba but that was not the case. I am used to their drinks not filled up completely because the amount of ice requested since one of my kids always order no ice and his drink is only 3/4 full but I was surprised to see they made a drink and then pull out after they closed the lid. The price also gone up, $7.05 for a basic milk tea and add $.70 for boba. We will go to other boba places in the area from now on. read more

Love their selection of teas here! The different combinations are so refreshing. I always get the bootea shaker, krypteanite (matcha), and yummy gummy. Their fries are crunchy and flavorful with their seasoning and they have different levels of spice. This is place is always my choice for boba when I don't know where else to go. read more

Drive to Rowland Heights for Tastea. Not the quality you would expect. I haven't touched my food yet, and this is how it was served: the popcorn chicken was all crumbs and barely a few pieces compared to regular portions at rowland heights, and the fries were so brown on the inside indicating the fries were old and preexposed to air for a long period. Tried calling door dash (the delivery service contracted with Tastetea) to get this issue resolved but they could not help us. My favorite is the Peachme Sweetea. During the fall season, I can't get enough of their Pumpkin Milk Tea. No need to go to Starbucks for their Pumpkin Spice Latte. Head on over to Tastea! Got the strawberry peach green tea with honey boba, it was so refreshing, and the perfect sweetness! The honey boba was green (see picture), which I've never seen before, but it was super fresh and perfectly cooked! I'm really picky about boba, but I was definitely satisfied with this one. I didn't really like the fruit chunks they added into the tea, but I'll just ask for it without them next time. It's kind of expensive for a small amount though. I've been driving 30+ min just to go to the Rowland tastea location, so when the Alhambra was opening their own I was excited to have one close to home. I was very dissapointed that this location does not live up to the tastea I know and love. Their drinks are so bad, always either too watery or too sweet. Despite always ordering regular sweetness, there is a lack of consistency for what regular means. I also ordered the chicken in hopes that it would be better than the drinks, but was met with chicken that tastes like the oil has never been changed. Not only is the food bad but the customer service is terrible, especially this girl with glasses whom I unfortunately did not have a chance to get her name. I've always been a fan of Tastea since I discovered it in Garden Grove way back in high school. I'm always excited to see new locations opening up. I recently moved to the area from Irvine and was sad that I was moving as soon as Tastea opened up there! But I was happy to see that Tastea was opening up in Alhambra, not too far from me. Food: The food and drinks have always been consistent across the different chains. The green honey boba is delicious and I like their selection of teas and fruit smoothies. The karate chicken is delicious and it's a generous portion. Parking: It's in the same plaza as a 99 Ranch Market and a few other shops so there is ample parking. Horrible customer service! I ordered twice over the past 5 days and both times I gave it a 30 minute window, both times when I arrived in store to pick up, the staff and owner, Jose said they are backed up and my order wouldn't be ready for another 20-30 minutes. It's great they are doing well during the pandemic but there is no urgency to fix the issue and this is frustrating for paying customers. The fruit drinks here are so refreshing and the milk tea drinks are so good. And the green boba adds a unique touch to the drink. My go to drinks are Peach me sweatea and Matcha Thai milk tea. I've probably gotten a drink here at least once a month for the past year. Also, the buttload of fries is really good too. They give so much that the fries are overflowing from the box. I'm so glad they finally opened up a Tastea store in Alhambra because the closest location to home used to be all the way in Rowland Heights. This store is located in the same plaza as the 99 ranch and there is always a lot of parking, unlike the plaza in Rowland Heights where you literally have to sell your soul to find a parking spot haha. I love their fruit teas and my go-to drinks are usually the bootea shaker, peach me sweet tea, and lychee peachie. They have a lot of other options that I hope to try one day if I'm feeling experimental haha. I also love that they offer snacks such as popcorn chicken and fries. Most of the time when I get here, there is a long line but it goes by very quick key because the workers work so fast. I go for the taro drink since taro is healthy so I'm getting a healthy drink, or so I tell myself. I'm a little disappointed that the last time I went and paid extra for boba, they forgot to actually include boba in the drink and I didn't notice until I got home. It wasn't an oversight with the order either, since I saw it listed on their monitor to include boba as an add-on. I opened left side of the double door because my right hand was full. A girl (Asian, wear glasses and she has big hips. I ordered the matcha coffee there and was pleased with the taste. It wasn't too sweet and it caffeinated me well. Even with the addition of boba, the drink didn't get very sweet. Their boba is green, which is unique. You get two options of either regular boba or honey boba. I went with the regular boba for my drink. This is one of the best boba shops around. Their ingredients are fresh and their drinks aren't that sweet. I've ordered the smoothies and some of the teas. I prefer the mango smoothie though. Today as I was picking up six drinks for my office, we had a little mishap. I didn't realize one of the drinks was incorrectly given to us. I called them and the owner quickly fixed the situation. My boss had ordered a Jazmin Green tea as she is lactose intolerant and I received the Jazmin Green Milk tea. He quickly fixed the issue by dropping by my work place with the correct order. My boss was happy and so was I. He even gave her an opsie card which means her next drink is free on them. If this is not amazing customer service, I don't know what is. He went above and beyond when it was one of his employees that had made the mistake. He has a customer for life with me and my boss. Kudos to him! I finally got to try Tastetea with a friend, and I am glad one has opened in the SGV. There are many menu options, including tea, smoothies, coffee, and even a couple food items. It was hard to choose, but thankfully they have a list of the top 10 drinks most people like. I ordered the most popular one, the peach me sweet tea, with light ice and 50% sweetness. Most of their teas and smoothies are fruit-flavored. Thanks to the Yelp check-in, they have 15% off your order. Although the place was pretty crowded constantly, the drinks were made quickly. I really enjoyed my drink, which was surprising as I am not a fan of fruit. The drink is full of peach and strawberry bits with the perfect amount of tea. It also not super sweet which I wanted.
