This was my second time to the sunright tea studio here in Alhambra. They are located roughly across the street from the Costco. I've been to many other locations nearby such as the one in Saint Gabriel and Arcadia. But this is a great alternative, especially if I'm not going to be on this side of town I had mobile ordered before I got in so many drinks were ready to go. I found it funny how there were signs saying do not put your feet against the wall. If you have never been to Sunright tea studio, this is the place with amazing drinks and great options. I always have a difficult decision deciding on what to order here. Parking can go a bit dicey, but sometimes it's not too bad people sometimes are here to grab them and go, but there are a lot of other great business nearby so the parking can get tough. read more

There are no tables or seating at this location. So it is not the ideal place to hang out or study. I recommend ordering online instead in store for a couple of reasons: 1) Saves wait time as this location can be pretty busy 2) You order at kiosk and the staff are pretty busy making drinks. So they aren't really available to help you if you need it anyway. SunBright Tea Studio is located in a pretty unassuming plaza near Costco. They offer refreshing drinks, and the inside was very clean. I noticed there were a couple of staff working, so it didn't feel understaffed, which was nice. I tried the strawberry jasmine latte with no sugar--it was very tart, so I'd recommend getting at least the second-lowest sugar option for a better balance. Parking was easy, which is always a plus, but there's not much else in the plaza besides SunBright and one other food spot. I have been a fan of Sunright since I found the Korea town location. Unfortunately my visit to the Alhambra location was very disappointed . I am a big fan of the Strawberry Matcha, the one I got at the Alhambra location was super grainy, no strawberries. I went back to let know how it tastes, they offered to fix it, they gave it back the same way . Super disappointed! I LOVE this place! So easy, and literally the fastest service. Order at the kiosk, and you get your order in I kid you not, less than 5 minutes. I think today it took 2 mins! Free parking in the plaza where McDonald's is. Super cute and clean on the inside. The two flavors I've tried so far are mango (yummy), and so far my favorite is the Oreo brûlée boba. If anyone were to ask me what my favorite boba spot is, my answer by default would be Sunright. My favorite drink from them is the mango milk tea, fruit teas are great as well. I came here after getting gas from Costco since I saw they had a new matcha drink. Parking is tight but I always am able to find a spot. Around 4:30pm, the store was empty inside and I was the only one. My drink came out within minutes after ordering. Staff was friendly and welcomed me when I walked in. Golden Mango Missile: This drink tasted like their mango milk tea. I only tasted mango and no matcha at all. I do appreciate that there was real mango chunks in the drink. I have tried their strawberry matcha latte before as well and felt the same way. I come here a lot for afternoon pick me ups and I'm never disappointed in my order. The quality is consistently awesome. The boba pearls are always the right texture. My go-to is either the Sunright fruit tea or the milk tea with creme brulee. The fruit tea having actual orange slices makes the drink even more refreshing. I would get the milk tea with creme brulee more often if it didn't feel like dessert lol. It's amazing but can be sweeeet. No human interaction since you have to order with the kiosk. I think that's a little bit of a downside when there's a long line and only 2 kiosks available. You can order online though and use their reward program to earn points towards a discounted drink. read more

We have never tried this franchise brand and we're quite elated to try it. Upon arrival we order via Kiosk. Their menu has a breadth selection of cold tea drinks and hot drinks. I decided to get a Grapefruit lemonade tea with boba pearl (extra ice and regular sweetness). And it was perfectly concocted, not too sweet and very refreshing. Prices were very competitive. Introduction: - We were 10 minutes early into the store (opens at noon). It was over 100 degrees outside. We asked if we can stay until the store opens so we can place our order. They said "No" and expected us to wait outside in the blistering heat. Pros: - The drinks never disappoint. We tried out both their mango and peach fruit slushee. Cons: - does not have customer empathy and allow us to stay inside with the AC. Everyone has been alerted that there is a heat advisory warning and should stay within doors. - Out of all the Sunright Tea Studios, I have never been quite annoyed at the service before I even ordered my drink. This newly opened location of Sunright Tea Studio can be found in the same plaza as McDonald's, specially next door to Mattress Firm. This plaza is also across from Costco. About 2 weeks ago, my husband and I came by this location for their special grand opening weekend (buy one, get one free). Sunright Tea Studio is one of my favorite tea houses to frequent (in addition to Sharetea and It's Boba Time in case you are wondering) so I am pretty familiar with their drinks. What I do like best about Sunright Tea is their numerous of options they offer in drinks and also usually their consistency in drinks, no matter the locations I visit (although new locations are the exception since new employees are working and they may not have been able to get the art of making tea down. But at least new store openings will have seasoned works to help). After getting lucky to get a parking spot right across from this tea house, we got in line (which was Saturday, around 2:15 pm). The line was out the door but the wait to order wasn't too bad (although it did get longer as we waited). We ended up ordering the following: Cream Pudding Milk Tea, $5.95- This is one of most favorite drinks to get at Sunright Tea (although I also love their Sunright Fruit Tea and Sunright Boba Milk Tea as well) and will usually order this when its available (sometimes its not made available when I have tried to order online ahead of time several times before, at other locations). I ordered this drink to be made with no ice and 50% sweetener. The tea drink itself came out perfectly and the cream pudding at the bottle is just a wonderful complement. Strawberry Jasmine Tea, $5.95- My husband ordered this drink to be made with 50% sweetener and no ice. Unfortunately the strawberries used in this drink were not ripe and sour, which made this drink to not be very pleasant. So my husband did not enjoy his drink very much. Brown Sugar Boba Milk, $5.95- This drink was ordered for our friend's son (who is 10). This is a great option to have available for those that can't have caffeine. I ordered this drink to be made with 75% sugar and no ice. Not sure if he liked it since we only purchased and delivered it to their home later on. Sunright Boba Milk Tea, $5.95- This drink was ordered for our friend (an adult). I ordered this drink to be made with 50% sweetener and no ice (as he is like us in which he doesn't like his drinks to be too sweet but his son prefers drinks to be on the sweeter side, thus the 75%). Also do not know if he liked this drink. ------------------------------ (Total= $11.90 after grand opening buy one, get one special) Wait time for our drinks after ordering was longer than I think is typical since this location was slammed with so many people. But waiting ~15+ minutes for our order was reasonable (and a lot shorter than waiting for our drinks at their other newly opened location at their Upland that we visited last month). The employee at the register was very friendly and very sweet and the employee who prepared our drink was also very nice. Overall, had a good experience (except my husband's drink) and would come back if I was in the area. But honestly I typically frequent the location in Arcadia since it's closer to my home. read more

While the Monterey Park location has been steadily getting worse with wait times, Alhambra's brand new store is still pretty empty (hence, faster service), so that is a win in my book! Anyways, I ordered my usual - Matcha Oolong Milk Tea at 50% sweetness w/ mochi. It is as I remember it - delicious! I can taste the bitterness of my matcha, which is how I prefer it. Roasted oolong is there, lurking in the background. Mochi is subtly sweet and chewy. Service, as another yelper has reported, is minimal. Parking: easy peasy parking. Can get busy just because of it's location, but it's free and I've never had trouble finding a parking spot. Easy in and out. I love Sunright, if you know what you're ordering it's basically always gonna hit. What's different here is that everything tasted fresh. I frequent the Pasadena location and it's always a toss up. It's a new location so we shall see how long it stays like this. The drinks come out slower but that's probably because the staff is new and that's normal. Tea and flavours are exactly what I expected but the toppings are much better than both the Atlantic and Pasadena location. Parking here is free so this will probably the new regular Sunright spot until it falls apart. What I didn't like was the oranges in the orange yakult. There's too many and it blocks access to the cream pudding. Its annoying and Pasadena does it better by only throwing in one orange (maybe just a coincidence). It's the typical Sunright location, grab n go. Nowhere to sit so don't expect to hang out here. They got a bathroom! Which is a +, Pasadena and Atlantic do NOT have a bathroom to use. Sunright is literally one of my favorite boba milk tea chains in Socal. I stopped by on their grand opening day because I just happened to be in Alhambra. The line wasn't too crazy (I got there a few hours after they had opened) although I know the line wrapped around the building at one point. I got the Grapefruit Jasmine Tea and the 4 seasons Brulee Oat Latte - which are my 2 favorite drinks at Sunright. Both were really good. Although, I got 75% sweet and it tasted like 100%+ sweetness lol!! Since it was their opening day, there was a BOGO deal and service was much slower. I think I waited like 15 minutes for my drink even though it wasn't that busy. Kiosks were closed for ordering when I visited. This brand new Sunright location is inside the McDonalds and Ono Hawaiian BBQ plaza across from Costco in Alhambra. Like other Sunright tea spots, their drink is amazing. It's filled with flavor-the right amount of sweetness and creaminess in milk teas, the right amount of sweetness and chewiness in bobas, and the freshness of the fruit teas always come through. This time around I got their oolong milk tea with an extra crème brûlée topping ($1 extra) and it was really good. I really like that they have a kids menu, with 4 drinks that are non caffeinated and smaller in size. My daughter loves their strawberry milk with boba. I'm also guilty of getting that drink for myself sometimes since it's the perfect size for a small boba craving. They're currently in their soft opening phase so they close at 6 daily. Service was good and the manager there seems to still be training the employees (who look like they're having a great time and full of energy when I arrived, no sarcasm here, like they're really happy to be working together :) One more thing.
