A friend recommended this place, and it did not disappoint, in fact, it exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like friends who had come to visit. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. My family and I love Mediterranean food, but we had never tried Egyptian food before. Let me tell you, we will definitely be regular customers from now on! The food was amazing. I had the beef shawarma bowl, and the portion was huge. I actually love that because it means I have delicious leftovers for today too. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. We also tried two different desserts, and both were outstanding: creamy, delicious, and not overly sweet. You can tell they're made with quality ingredients and balanced flavors. Excellent food, generous portions, warm hospitality, and an overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
The best Egyptian food ever! I drive 40 mins just to come here for the deliciousness. Service is amazing, they're very nice and professional. Highly recommend. Dont forget to order sakalans ;)
Tasa2Go has great tasting entrees and dessert. Food was delicious! Sadly, the seating area is quite small and its very hot inside, so the ambiance was not great. You can choose to sit outside but it's not very comfortable and doesn't look very clean. However, regardless of the not so great seating arrangements the food was so good and I would still go back. Decent customer service.
Wow, one of the best meals I've had in Fullerton. This was my first time trying Egyptian food and I loved it. I ordered the kabab wrapped in lamb fat sandwich and i audibly let out a "wow". It was juicy, perfect ratio of meat to fat, and the sauce and onions added a little bit of brightness. I paired this with the mango juice. I was in heaven. It was so delicious, I brought my friends with me the next time. I can't wait to come back and try more on their menu. There's a few tables inside and outside, but I can see this place potentially becoming very busy. Service was great, the cashier was helpful and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend trying Tasa2Go.
Great Egyptian restaurant, great service and amazing owner. My bf was very pleased with everything given that he grew up eating different types of foods. It was my first experience and thought it was great. My chicken was cooked well and flavored nicely. The only thing was there are limited seats inside however plenty of space outside the patio area. The other was my bf felt it was a little too saucy and will ask for sauce on the side next time. The owner was very friendly and informative about how he cooks all the dishes. We definitely will be coming back.
I had to be in Fullerton again, so I took some time to look on Yelp to figure out what I would have for lunch the night before. While I was scrolling through places, I saw an Egyptian place. I've never had Egyptian food before, so I really wanted to give it a try. Last night, I thought of ordering the beef brains, but I chickened out and instead ordered the hawawshi with cheese instead. It was made to order and even though it took a while to make (since it was made from scratch), the taste of it was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how the texture and crispness and flavor of the bread paired so well with the heavily seasoned beef that just had so much flavor, and the nice addition of the cheese. These flavors just paired so well together and kept me thinking about my meal all day and how satisfied I was eating it. Needless to say, I was impressed. It's kind of a weird setup inside though. Like the parking plaza here was packed, but out of the 3 restaurants in the plaza, this one was empty. It didn't make any sense whatsoever, especially with how good the food was. The dining area is just a few tables though, so it's smaller than the other restaurants in the plaza, but you would think the taste would get people to still come and eat here. Anyway, I'm happy with the meal and the service. I'm definitely coming back to try more things on the menu next time, and maybe even the beef brains haha
Food quality and taste is purely authentic. Bebo is wonderful guy with friendly attitude. If it's your first time I definitely suggest Hawashi
Honestly, this place hit different. From beginning to end. The customer service was fantastic, the self checkout is great if you prefer to have minimal interactions which makes things very efficient. Same goes for the choice of inside or outdoor dining. The Beef Shawerma Fattah was so tender and packed with deep, savory flavor that you can tell the chef really knows their craft. That Bechamel pasta came out creamy and golden with the perfect baked top. This was all done right! The Fankoush and garlic sauces brought bright, bold layers that made every bite pop, while the green salad kept things fresh and balanced. These dishes were very intentional with their seasonings. We washed it all down with the Egyptian mango and guava juice. We left completely satisfied. Real expertise in the kitchen here, definitely coming back. Worth every cent!
Tasa2go is a spot that I've bookmarked for several years now and I was finally able to try this place out (visiting from The Bay Area). This Egyptian gem did not let me down. The menu is big and the portion size is even bigger. You definitely get the best bang for your buck. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered and got our food about 7 minutes later. I believe we met the owner (looked like the guy from the logo) and he was such a friendly and personable human being. Now the food....bring an appetite because that medium bowl was enough to feed me, my wife and one of my kids lol. We ordered 2 bowls and a sandwich. Everything was packed with delicious spices and flavors. The spices are different compared to like a Halal guys and other places but that's what makes this place different. It's similar but not similar (in a good way) if that makes sense. There was not any tables inside of the spot but there was outside seating and tables. Overall, I would love to come back and try more unique dishes like the one with brains. When I'm down that way again, I will definitely be returning. Do yourself a favor and check Tasa2go out.
Tasa2Go is an Egyptian restaurant that specializes in charcoal grilled meats. All the food served here is HALAL. They have sandwiches, shawarma, rice, pasta, fries, and charcoal grill meats. I wanted to get a variety of meats to try and after talking to the owner he recommended the beef shawarma fattah. Beef Shawarma Fattah ($26 - Large / $21- Regular) - I got the large size not realizing the quantity was too much, 2 people could have eaten this. This came with a roasted bread base, rice on top, beef shawarma meat, garlic sauce and 2 sides (I went with eggplant and a salad). The beef was on the drier side and had a slight charcoal taste to it. The rice had a spicy tomato sauce mixed in. Overall, I thought the beef was just ok. I did feel it was over priced. I did try a little of my co-worker's chicken plate ($19) and while the chicken was tender, it didn't have much in the way of flavor other than some charcoal taste. Compared to other Middle Eastern places I have been to I would pass on this. They only have 2 tables inside for seating and 3 outside. It does take a while to grill meats, so be prepared to wait. They do charge $2 for a water bottle, didn't see an option for complimentary water.
Not even home yet but I can't wait to rave about this place. We ordered the kabeb wrapped in lamb fat with rice, green salad, garlic sauce, and a side of bread. Everything was seasoned to the GODS, perfectly cooked. This was my first time trying Egyptian food and the spice combinations were a revelation. The veggies were pickled and added the perfect amount of brightness to offset the fattiness of the meat. Staff was quiet but kind and attentive! Overall a great experience and we can't wait to go back.
Came here yesterday for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about his customers. He made sure our food was fresh, well prepared, and served hot. He even gave us an extra sandwich for us to enjoy. If you're ever in Anaheim and craving great halal food, I highly recommend checking this place out!

This was the first time physically coming here with my wife and we had an awesome experience! The owner suggested we try the chicken kabab and the bechamel pasta! The chicken was really tender and super flavorful! Both dishes were amazing! We've also ordered Fried beef brain sandwich, Beef Shawarma Fattah, Hawawshi and Alexandrian beef liver sandwich in the past, and they were all really tasty! What made this experience most meaningful was how welcoming the owner was. Super friendly, great service, and you can definitely feel the passion and heart he pours onto the restaurant and what they serve. Definitely enhances the overall experience! Definitely recommend for y'all to check this spot out! We will definitely be coming back again! Thanks Tasa2go! read more

This place is not only the best Egyptian food but the best Egyptian food you can find I didn't have this type of food in Egypt. This is the best of the best at its finest. It's authentic it's made right with love and passion. The bread is homemade. I've never had pita bread this delicious this is Egyptian food on a whole new level. The Koshary was to die for! The sauce everything was made to perfection The pita bread is made here fresh to order. You cannot find the bread anywhere.! I don't think there is enough words to Express the level of quality that is put into the food that is served here. Don't waste time anywhere come to this place and what Egyptian food should taste like. At the end, we finished it off with Knafeh and again nothing failed during our visit. This is Archie go place for friends family ourselves just wow I never thought I would experience something like this in Orange County. Thank you Taos 2 go for the level of quality and passion you put into your food! The BEST FOOD! read more

This is a true hidden gem. Egyptian food was new to us. It's so good we've been here twice. So far we tried the koshary, hawawshi sandwich, beef liver in ghee, fried beef brains, and kunafa. Wow, every thing we tried is delicious. The sides and sauces are tasty too: basmati rice, mixed pickles, baba ghanoush, tahini, garlic sauce, etc. The owner took our order. He was super helpful and friendly. We will be back soon! read more

Sometimes, it's those unassuming hole-in-the-wall spots that hit the hardest. Tasa2Go is the perfect example. Our food was filling, well priced, and incredibly delicious. Whenever I go to an authentic spot, I try to get something that's unique to that culture. You won't find liver at a lot of your local spots, so I figured that I should give the beef liver in ghee a try. And I'm so glad that I did so. Wow. So melty, hearty, tender and flavorful. Phenomenal. Pro tip. Get the extra hot hot sauce. If you like hot sauce, then you'll be pleased. Some of the strongest and tastiest hot sauce you'll try! Amazing food with quick and friendly service? This 5 star review is a no brainer. Tasa2Go is the spot! read more

My boyfriend and I came to eat here with my father. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed all of it. I wanted to try a lot of things but my boyfriend stopped me lol. He knows I over order. The lamb was the best I've had in a while. It wasn't gamy like other places. The ambiance is good to go solo, with friends, family, couples and even strangers lol I highly recommend this restaurant. The apple Egyptian sodas were awesome. I also enjoyed the Egyptian tea. read more

Hands down, one of my favorite places that we've found while trying new foods in Fullerton. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants great quality food and warming customer service by the owner himself. We got the tasa single charcoal grill meal with the chicken kebab add on. Oh my god, the meat was so flavorful and juicy, and so good when paired with the garlic sauce. For dessert, we got the rice pudding with heavy cream. It was very light and savory! read more

Great to have an authentic Egyptian food spot in Fullerton! A very robust menu with a lot of great options. A bit pricey, it seems. We ordered the Beef Kofta and Meat Shawerma Fattah (medium size) and it was more than enough for three people (grand total was $55 for those two items). Included with these items were mixed pickled veggies, tahini, garlic sauce, and baba ghanoush. The shawerma with the garlic sauce was delicious! Great ratio of meat to rice and excellent with more garlic sauce and baba ghanoush. Kofta was good, but a bit dry. Tahini sauce was not great. I would definitely go back and try more items and recommend to anyone wanting great and authentic Egyptian food. Would give a 4.5/5 if I could. read more

Was torn between the bechamel pasta and fatteh.. could have gotten both but decided on the pasta. Noodles will likely win 8/10 times when given 2 choices. Man, where do I start! First of all, got to meet the owner as we were placing our order, super cool guy, very friendly, funny, welcoming, and makes the absolute best recommendations!! Set the tone for an amazing experience and he definitely delivered!! Took the family to try it for the first time, and we loved everything! Top picks across the table were the tarb (beef wrapped in lamb fat), delicious, juicy, perfect flavor; the koshari was incredible, the layers and flavors, the spicy sauce, just perfect, even mom who makes the best koshari in our family was impressed; the liver sandwiches with the tahini, tender, flavorful, and the tahini and lemon just makes it perfect; and last but definitely not least, the hawawshi, get it with the cheese and thank me later, but just perfectly crispy, flavorful, not dry, seasoned to perfection!! For dessert, we had the kunafa and om Ali, both were absolutely delicious!! Fresh out of the oven, not overly sweet, hard to pick a favorite but I'd definitely say the kunafa with cream and nuts was the winner!! Had the hibiscus, fresh, sweetened to perfection, not watered down, honestly everything was delicious and the owner Ramon and his staff just go above and beyond, definitely will be coming back!! Ambiance outside made it feel like we're in Egypt with the music playing, families in tables around us, and the owner coming out and introducing himself and meeting the family, extra special touch and just makes the experience that much better! read more
