Pizza Hut, hot dogs, spam musubi limited fried noodles, charcuterie etc etc... only thing missing are the sandwiches in which I'm sure will be a seller for hungry children and families as well... until closing! Their selection of frozen meals is excellent! Fresh meat and poultry is always excellent price is right! If only the buyers place more local foods available will be great! My only concern I've notice that happens on a Sunday is tampering with the ladies toilets stalls! I haven't gone out on Sundays but when I do someone likes to destroy the toilet paper canister! Order pick up. Why does EVERY TARGET SUCK WITH ANY PICK UP? A Personality makes a BIG difference! This young person dressed shabbily. I just wanted to pick up my order. No eye contact, 2 people in front never got asked for ID. I NEVER GET ID AT DRIVE UP. Response: "we don't, but we do inside." Idgi, it's MY APP WITH MY FINGERPRINT! January 2026 Right now the parking lot is blocked off so just a heads up. As you pull into the lower level to park, the parking lot has a barricade, without warning, and when you pull in to each lane, there is not an ability to turn around without doing a 3-point turn. With as much traffic as Target receives, it can be very frustrating for some people and I witnessed quite a bit of craziness. Maybe call ahead to see if it is still like this, or park on the upper lot area if you don't mind the sun. I believe the issue is affecting the employees. I had a checker seem frazzled and miss-enter gift cards I had received over the holidays, or from their Circle program, several times. She then gave me false information about how much money was left on a card and told me I had to use another form of payment. The customer service line was extremely long, and I had a cart with eight frozen items, so I pulled away and got back into her line so the other two could check out. I showed her the receipt she gave me with the items charged and remaining balance on my gift card, as well as the balance on the website. She said she didn't know what to do and told me that I could go get her manager. (I have a great sense of humor. I have no idea where her, or any manager may be. Nor is that a guests responsibility. I had to laugh a little, but only on the inside, this person is obviously overwhelmed.) I responded that I don't have time and have frozen items, and she said I could go to customer service. I looked over again and their line was gone. So I headed that way. Ann was also frazzled and rude, actually, so by this time I was not in a good mood. I came into the store with happy go lucky shopping fun time intentions, and this was getting ridiculous. She used a tool to call for her manager and went away for a moment and returned. She was able to help, well, sort of, she figured out what happened. She said one of the store items was unable to be purchased with a Target gift card, and that was why I needed to use my own money. Good to know. She apologized as well and was trying to be nice in the end, which was appreciated. Maybe a sign for the garage, and signs around anything that may not be purchased by gift cards, would be helpful for guests. Everyone has stressful days. No big deal. Aloha. read more

won't be shopping this Target anymore. I tried to return an item that the app clearly showed was still within the return window, but I was told in-store that only an exchange was allowed. To make things worse, when I did the exchange, I was charged extra because the in-store price was higher than what I originally paid online, which didn't feel fair. The whole situation was confusing, and when I asked for help, the employees were unnecessarily difficult and acted like they owned the place instead of helping customers. The team lead/manager at the front was no help at all I was told to wait while they talked with another employee for a long time and never properly assisted me. At one point, another team lead asked if I had been helped. I explained the situation while the original employee stepped away to get the item. After listening, he simply said someone was already helping me, gave a smile that felt dismissive, and walked away without offering any help. I was even told to try another store, which makes no sense. Really disappointing experience. I would caution other customers to double-check return policies and be prepared for inconsistent service at this location. read more

Love shopping at target it definitely one of my favorite stores to walk around and check out the new items they have frequently. During this trip I picked my my favorite wine I used to get back in NY, Taylor Port. Definitely reasonable and on the sweet side but not overly sweet and pairs well with many things. Went home and paired my wine with smoked salmon on top of a Baguette toasted with a spread of mashed avocado and a squeeze of lemon. Definitely worth it. Also got this cute Pink gingerbread tumbler and put my own stopper inside so the straw doesn't come out. Definitely worth investing in so that your children don't pull the straw out. read more

I am a fan of Target. I'm a fan of Target mostly because I use their drive up pick up service. I like to place an order online then pick up at my convenience. I tend to order late in the evening so I can pick it up early the next day when I take Ms Sofie for her morning park stop. Sofie is a star with the staff, they don't know my name but everyone knows her and she scratches at the window for me to roll it down so she can hang out to get pets and adoration, all I get is "can I see your code"! They carry all the name brands as well as their own Good & Gather brand which I will buy when available because I've never had an issue with it being of inferior quality. With the exception of four or five all my check-ins are for the drive up pick up section but those four or five in store shops were great too. I know a number of people who shall remain nameless weren't happy over the DEI issue I don't think it's much of an issue here in Hawaii. I like Target for convenience plus it's relatively close. read more

Not all Targets are created equal. This Target has covered parking, affordable grab and go, and Starbucks. Surprisingly this is my first trek to this location. At first getting onto the property and finding parking looks like it would be a best but it's actually fine if you don't mind parking at the back. Plenty of large spaces and it's covered. Walking into the store it seems like this huge space is so well stocked with good prices. This location has plenty of household items, toiletries, clothes, toys, electronics and everything you can think of it's there. There are also a ton of cashiers on a busy Saturday so the lines moved quickly. Love the bright interior. And finally upon exit..little food snack station. Pizza, hotdogs, popcorn, cheese platters, slushes, and more for a quick lunch. There's also a Starbucks at the same location for a quick pick me up. Also, nice seating area to enjoy your snack..meal whatever. Definitely will return if in the area! read more

I use Target drive up ALL THE TIME.. and I love it! Not only is it such a convenient way to shop, but the workers at this particular location are always so pleasant and courteous! I have been to the Ala Moana store, back when we were living in town, and boy were those guys miserable doing their job. At the Salt Lake drive up, you always get a friendly "hello!", they are very conscious of customers that may be waiting a little longer than usual, and they will come and apologize for the wait. Last, but not least, you'll always get a "Thank you!" or "Have a nice day!" as you leave. Today, I decided to go in to the store. As I needed a couple of items and was already in the area, so didn't have time to place the usual drive up order. It was really nice to browse inside. This store never disappoints. The store is always clean, and anytime I need something, although at times difficult to find an associate in certain depts, they are always friendly and willing to help! Prices are always great and just such a fun place to shop, especially during any holiday!! Love checking out their holiday themed merchandise and decorations! I've frequented this location numerous times for baby registry gifts, diy school gifts, school supplies, Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza, underwear, dri-fit clothes for son, Starbucks for husband and I, two piece swimwear which lasted a decade before turning color, travel tote that lasted for eight years till material ripped near zipper, and comfortable footwear at great deals. No problems with returns involving unused with tags intact merchandise. It's very rare to find an employee in the respective departments if you're not able to find merch you're looking for. Downside was I did not find portable, cordless, rechargeable air purifier. That's ok. I can order online elsewhere. Upside was I found two items - Nudestix Bright Nude Eyes Mini Kit $30. Usual price online via other websites are $35. Second to the last, in my size, Brown Memory Foam Ballet Flats $14.99. Happy with purchased merch! Well, this time, the app said that I could pick up my order except one item that was out. But when I got to the Target drive up stall, I was told that the items still needed to be to taken from the floor. If the order is not even picked then don't have the app say that an order is ready. Never again will I shop here! They sold me an e-scooter for my son's birthday and when I had it built we discovered it wasn't even the e-scooter it was supposed to be. I rarely shop at Target, but he family wanted to go. There weren't too many people here, but the flow was steady. I needed a electric cart, but out of the 8 carts I found, none of them were charged at 9 am. I used one until it started beeping at me for about twenty minutes then went and got another which started beeping within five minutes. They obviously didn't charge them overnight. After grabbing a few items, we had to leave. We only made it from the front door to the produce aisles. We would have shopped more if they had the electric carts charged. We could have been here for a couple hours. From what I saw, the store was neat and orderly. The sales weren't great but they had a few here and there. I think the day of BOGO and buy one and get the other 50% off is over here. We found some buy one get one 25% off. Anything helps in this economy. read more

Target in many ways is just right in point... Bullseye is their adorable mascot and what a special place in my heart is this cutie, I remember they day I found out we were gonna have our first store here in Salt Lake once occupied by Costco and that was some excitement for the community more so when I had a friend who was part of the team and got some scoops. Over the years it has been my source of support in so many ways...a bathroom break, Starbucks recharge, a last minute gift, wardrobe malfunction emergency...during covid finding the elusive goods and yes my favorite is Bullseye Playground for the assorted deals to put it all together. Though there is one much closer in convenience this one has the layout much more ideal (and they had the item at this store only) since their huge renovation and what makes me love Target is their app and how it ties into your shopping experience where you're able to check item price and availability at all locations and yes they instantly price match items like today I had a item that was $1 cheaper with the additional discount for brining your own bag. There's a 10 items or less for checkout and the fact that I wasn't paying any attention to the large sign in front of the entrance isle BECAUSE I was looking at the flowers in the isle and then CONTINUED walking on to the self check out. Then when rejected to cash out I said they should put a sign I. Fri t. The guy said there is one "it's actually RATHER LARGE SIGN" so I said... Their "10 items" or less requirement in the self check out is ridiculous. Especially when they only have 3 people working actual registers and move like sloths. I could've scanned 100 items in the amount of time I stood in line and waited for the lady at the register to scan the 15 of the person in front of me. If going to make people go to the main register for more than TEN items, then open up more registers so we're not standing in line for 15min to be scanned!! Especially when 10 of the self-checkout registers are open. What a waste of time. Raise the limit to 25 so more realistic for the majority of people that shop at target. I think I'll just give each of my kids a different credit card to use and divide up our stuff in groups of "10" next time. read more

I love shopping at Target. Many times I've come to this location and many items were out probabaly because it's a rather busy location. The employees here are usually helpful and friendly. On today's visit, the employee who helped me walked me all the way to the aisle instead of just directing me. AWESOME! Lately, I've checked on-line and this location would have some items that the other locations did not have. So, it's been better. I like checking if they have things online before going to the actual store. It saves so much time. Target is reasonable and have many weekly sales and specials. Parking is located in the two leveled parking garage, in the lot near curbside, and on the street. It can get busy at times, but many come and go so parking is usually available. I actually don't mind coming to this location now that they tend to have more items available. read more

I'd say this Target was interesting but also very friendly. I went this past week and at first it was confusing because of how big the store is. I loved how much more spacious it was, compared to other stores. In Kailua, it's spacious but not in between the aisles, or clothing sections. In Ala Moana, they have the tiniest and most crammed aisles. I think Kapolei is the closest in size but Salt Lake felt more comfortable because of the employees' friendliness & proactive approach to customers (they're not hiding or evading people at all). The only thing I found weird is that the fork is inside the fresh pasta box and they put napkins, cups, lids and straws all in brown the soda machine and the icee machine. They had empty napkins dispensers by the self checkout registers for the cafe, which was weird ngl. The employees though were mostly nice. read more

Sometimes, I like to visit stores to see how they might be different/same, as compared to back home. Besides, I was in the area and needed to buy a few things. This is a very nice Target store. It is clean and well organized. It is well stocked; there are few bare spots on the shelves. And I enjoyed that I could find all of the national brands I was looking for, and I was able to try some local brands as well. In March 2009, Hawaii residents welcomed the largest Target at the time. It took the place of a Costco and built more parking. The parking structure has an upper level with an elevator to the entrance on the Ground Floor. Sometimes, the Clearance items are good deals. I like to check out "Bullseye's Playground" at the entrance for inexpensive and fun items. The fashions are amusing because of the winter coats and long-sleeved attire. I appreciate the Aloha shirts and dresses with Hawaiian prints. There are also local soaps, footwear, snacks, and coffee as well as the latest books and DVDs! Remember to get fresh produce, groceries, electronics, appliances, pet supplies, baby items, sporting goods, toys, and a flower lei here! Decided to check out the newly renovated Target Salt Lake. My sister said it was nice and clean and wide aisles. So I experience for myself and yes wide aisle nice new produce area . Nice new lighting and customer service area is very big. Also the Starbucks area is newly renovated and bigger than before . I went in to buy the favorite day trail mix because it was on sale 2 for $8. So i bought 4 so stock up on my snacks since it was on sale. And i was charged 5 trail mixes when I bought 4. Why on Earth would I buy 5 trail mixes?! that defeats the whole purpose of the sale! I was charged the 5th trail mixed regular price. I didn't even have a lot of items to be rung up, I had 7 items I bought and somehow sneakily charged me extra for my snack, completing missing the whole purpose of the sale. Since we are having Thanksgiving today, and Black Friday shopping is tomorrow, I thought it would be appropriate that I'd share a funny story about my Black Friday shopping experience I had at this Honolulu/Salt Lake Target 12 years ago. First of all, I'm not about shopping or fighting for a deal, so going to these Black Friday thingy ain't my bag baby! Bruddah Fran would rather pay a little more for an item, than deal with the super large crowds just to get an unreal deal, but don't get me wrong.............I do LIKE DEALAGES!!!! So 12 years ago (year 2009) while I was reading the newspaper, I saw that Target had this unbelievable deal on this portable DVD player. I was thinking that if I could score one, I'd bring it along with me when I traveled to the mainland to kill some time when I'm on the airplane. I guess seeing this Black Friday deal was too good to resist, so Bruddah Fran did the unthinkable............yes, he made his 1st attempt to go Black Friday Shopping!!!! A few things that Bruddah Fran learned about his Black Friday shopping experience............. 1. Bruddah Fran really sucks at Black Friday Shopping!!! Not knowing what people go through just to get these unreal deals, I think some people actually camp out in front of the store the day before the store actually opens!!! There is NO WAY that Bruddah Fran would camp out for an unreal deal!!! 2. Bruddah Fran actually though he was being smart when I got up at 5:00 AM, then drove down to this store early in the morning (well, he thought it was early). When he got to the Target store (around 6:00 AM or so), he see's a super long line of people snaked around the building!!! The Target workers were only letting in so many people at once, to do crowd control (which is understandable). 3. As Bruddah Fran stood in line patiently to get into Target, by the time he actually got into the store and walked up to the Electronics Department, he found the shelf totally empty, as Target had already sold out on those portable DVD players! Ai-yai-yai!!! So at the end............Bruddah Fran was dejected as he walked back to my car, and drove home (empty handed). Insert SAD Panda Face here!!!! So much for his Black Friday shopping experience!! Buwahahahahahahaha!!!! What a loser!!! 12 years later.............Bruddah Fran was at the same Target store again, as he was shopping for a T.V. for his pops (as his old T.V. in his bedroom had broke). Guess what???? Although Black Friday is still alive, Target didn't make consumers wait till Friday to get a deal, Target decided to start the Black Friday deals before Thanksgiving! So the end of this story.............. Bruddah Fran found some great DEALAGES, as I picked up a small T.V. for his pops, and he also found a really COOL Led Zeppelin t-shirt for himself!!! Winning!!! Buwahahahahaha! I must tell you it's a lot more fun being on the winning side, vs. the losing side! Lol! But to be serious, aside from T.V.'s, or t-shirts.............there's a lot of more important things to be thankful for during this holiday season, like - Family, Friends, & Good Health. The value of products is the same all around like other targets and the service is friendly. They have the WORST delivery service ever! I placed an order at 3 pm to be delivered by 6pm. At 7:30 still no order or notification. Called Target and they said I have to Ship to find out where my order is. They should call. Don't use their delivery service. It sucks. Walmart has the best delivery service! read more

Usually , I like to go to this Salt lake Target to grab some items because it's usually a pleasant experience regardless of how busy it is at times. The workers are usually all very nice. My first bad experience I had occurred yesterday on Father's Day upon my fiancé and I approaching the entrance of self check out. There was an older woman standing at the entrance and immediately said "you guys have more than 10 items, this is 10 or less" with a sassy tone. To which my fiancé responded saying "we were going to check out separate items , just using one cart" to which she quickly cut him off saying "you CANNOT do that, you need 2 separate carts"... again, with a sassy tone/ demeanor. This rule also makes NO sense to me, when the whole reason why we can't do that in the first place (which she could clearly see) is due to the fact that we have a toddler I was carrying. I am quickly agitated as this has never been a problem at any target I've been to before. My fiancé and I go to target all the time and self check out with one cart... yet we purchase items separately so it falls under that new 10 or less rule. I respond to the woman saying "where does it say that here on the 10 or less sign? Or better yet, at the entrance?" She cuts me off and says "you can just walk right there and go into the line with a worker". I reply "you know what, I don't even wanna argue with you right now." and I remove 3 items from our cart to make us at 10 total to be able to enter the self checkout as it was the least busy area out of all check out lines with workers busy. To be honest, this experience doesn't make me want to return. I've never felt this way towards Target, this location until this experience. It wasn't even necessarily what she said it was HOW she said it to my fiancé and I. You don't have to talk to us like we're dumb. Hopefully no one else experiences this lady's rude tone/ demeanor. read more

I mostly shop Target online and more often during the holidays. One thing that standouts is their quick shipping. They'll ship your items out the same or next day. Their packing is the best! Whenever I order liquid items, they tape the cap area carefully and securely to prevent spillage using their personalized Target tape. Overall, I use Target online less. Practically all of their items will only ship with a $35 minimum order. And it's not always I'll have a checkout of that amount. This policy started during the height of the pandemic. Target also adds on a surcharge fee for Hawaii if you're not a Red Card member. I notice that a lot of the products that they used to ship are no longer available for shipping. Things I used to buy on a regular basis aren't guaranteed anymore. read more

I normally love Target... and I mean LOVE! But tonight they fell short. My daughter ordered something online and wanted to pick it up at curbside. It was at night so she didn't inspect the item until she got home. She was very disappointed because she ordered a wooden frame and it was brought to her damaged. Both in the front and back. #1: how can the person pulling the item not see the item and #2: how can the person prepping the item for curbside not see the damage? I know it's a busy holiday season and we are in the middle of a pandemic, but we were a little disappointed about this. No problem with refund and they said she could keep the frame. Lol.
