first time at miniso and went to their first location in Hawaii! I heard good things about them from friends and maybe the other locations in other places might be better? but it is a good place to go to if you like hello kitty or stitch because there is lots of it! The store is very clean and bright with lots of different items available. I didn't get anything tho since im not into these things. Not sure if it was really worth the trek to look for a working elevator at the mall and only spending less than 5 minutes in the store. read more

The first Miniso finally opened in Hawaii. They're all over the mainland. The first time that I've been to one was in Vegas. I remember thinking that they had the cutest products. They have a lot of cutesy keychains and stuffed animals. They also sell snacks, make-up, air fresheners and slippers among other things. They recently did a collab with Harry Potter. That's the first thing you see when you walk into the store. They also sell Sanrio and Barbie items. I was a tad disappointed with this Miniso. It's smaller than the mainland locations and have much less merchandise. It's still a cute store though. read more

Exceptionally cute and addicting to shop at Miniso. If you love Snoopy, Sanrio and pop culture icons, you're in for a treat. Miniso has tons of licensed character products with rotating collections throughout the year. It's a treasure hunt because you'll never know what's in stock until you get there. I've been to Miniso in California, Nevada and Washington and noticed each location has slightly different merchandise. So if you find something you like, just buy it! The prices are decent in this economy. You can expect to spend about $10 - $20 per item. I found a Cinnamoroll planner, spa headbands, and desk organizers. There's so much stuff to see in all the shelves. The back shelves have high quality medium sized stuffed animals. The downside is the store is cramped. You can barely walk through the aisles without crashing into other people. There's not enough room to browse. I hope Miniso will move to a bigger location in the mall. read more

This place is dangerous... It's in Pearlridge though so it's kinda far away from me. But do trust when I pull up I make it a point to come here.... The Chiikawa series is too cute... I wanna buy everything.. LOL At least now we have some variety here besides just Sanrio :) The interior was adorable. Cuteness overload. One of the newer shops at Pearlridge. It was packed with lots of customers especially since it was Fall Break. Girls, teens, young adults and moms swarming and picking up things to look at to their heart's content. Be cautious as one of the snack items I looked at, the label had a warning that it could expose you to a substance. Unsuspecting kiddies would eat this and not be aware of the consequences. Shopping at Pearlridge Center in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii... Welcome to the 50th State, Miniso! I first learned about Miniso (a company based in China) from my Yelp friends in Los Angeles. They encouraged me to look around because they thought I'd like the cute merchandise... they were right! The Grand Opening was announced for Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11am. The mall opens at 10am. There was a crowd gathered outside Pearlridge at 9:45am. I was worried that I wouldn't be one of the first 50 customers to get 20 percent off. However, we got a chance to pull numbers which corresponded to coupons with discounts on them. One lady got a $100 voucher! I got 10 percent off. I thought: Whatever I get now is better than getting it on the mainland because Hawaii sales tax is less than mainland sales tax. So - I got a BT21 bag and light up keychain for my sister... she likes RJ. I got a Cooky phone stand and tote bag. I got Hello Kitty stuff for friends and a Pikachu lip balm for myself. I appreciated the plushies, night lights, cups, mugs, caps, house slippers, cosmetics, and more! I already had a Miniso account from the mainland. The cuteness is finally here... Thankfully it's not in town or I'd be in deep trouble! Our very first Miniso is finally here in Hawaii at the Pearlridge Center Mauka on the second level and gosh honestly that's a moment of excitement for us lol! It's not that I was able to anyways but had no intention to stand in the massive line and waited patiently for the storm to quietly pass which has me missing out on many merchandise that quickly got sold only helped me save some money as this very cozy shop can be a struggle to shop around. Love that they don't limit the characters as they have a wide variety from Sanrio, Disney, Peanuts and so many more. Blind boxes to plushies it's just a fun and happy place to shop for yourself or a gift I just love that we now have this place as an option to explore and they do have a reward program which is a great incentive to earn points and coupons for great deals. Many of the other Miniso are similar in size and are usually a small shop so thing is no different but am so happy that they decide to expand to Hawaii and hope that they will more shops in town one day. Miniso. A bright pretty clean store located in uptown Pearlridge. Lots of everything in here, Sanrio, stitch, Pooh, snoopy, Harry Potter, Mario merchandise. Cups, utensils, pens, keychains, water bottles, pet clothes make up products , they probably have most anything. Honestly, I didn't get anything but no one welcomed me in the store and I was afraid to check the prices. I went to Miniso for a Christmas gift. I've heard great things about this store. I even did a little research about the store before actually going. They have a lot of character items and I thought it would be a good place to shop for people who are into Sanrio things. When I got there, they had a lot of Sanrio items that I haven't seen in other stores. It was nice to see such a variety. I was able to pick up a few items in my hands in no time. Then I went to the counter to pay and asked them what their return policy was since it was a gift. Then they told me their lame return policy. They said item can be return 7 days after you purchase. I said that's gonna be before Christmas. They won't even get their present open by then. But she said that's the policy. I just said it's okay, I don't want to purchase and walked out. I guess if you are buying for yourself, this store might be okay, but if you're buying for Christmas, not a good option. I was very disappointed in the whole process. read more

Oh my goodness cuteness alert is overwhelming me while I browsering thru aisles of merchandise. It's so difficult to leave the store without buying something. Whether you love anime like pokemon, one piece, snoopy, Harry Potter, and even cute hedgehog, duck, capybara merchadise, this right store is for you. There are keychains, make up, pillows, organization tools, stationary, just there is something to find. Store is small especially when you go thru the aisles. So much cute stuff at this store! I can't believe i've never been to a mainland Miniso so this is the first Miniso i've been to. I was a little bummed the shelves have been empty since the grand opening but that's because the items fly off the shelves so quickly. I got my Snoopy fill and bought a ton of Snoopy stuff, the sanrio stuff are so cute too! i can't wait u til they get more blind boxes in as those look fun to open when i watch Tik Tok videos. The sanrio and snoopy slippers were so cute but all too small for my size 10 feet, lol. what a bummers but expected that an asian store only has small shoe sizes. I enjoyed trying 4 new lays potato chip flavors from Taiwan, lobster, hot pot, hot chili and spicy cheese, so yummy! I check back every few days to see what they stock the shelves with next. If you see something you may want to buy, you need to buy it or the next visit it will be sold out! read more

I wanted to love this store so much. I know there's still time to improve. I went 1 week after their grand opening. It's a small store, and that's ok. The shelves were pretty much empty. You'd think they would've had workers stocking up, but that wasn't the case. I only saw one worker and she was at the register alone. Which I am sure she was overwhelmed with the amount of people. There was no price on any single item except for a couple of key chains. You'd have to ask for the price because there's no tags on the shelves as well. The price that was on the item was crossed out with a black marker. Which makes me believe the prices will be much higher than what they usually go for. read more

So happy I don't need to travel out of Hawaii to get my Miniso fix! The store is so cute, located right next to Claire's it's a must stop if you love all things cute like me lol. From blind boxes, to home goods and all things beauty is your one stop shop if you love Sanrio, cartoons, Disney and all the other fun stuff. Prices aren't too crazy. They got more stuff now! They have HP and One Piece items. Definitely stock up after their opening. Although some items priced higher, but some still reasonable pricing (to me). I got a mug for $10 and 8 small packaged wet wipes for $6. I wish they open one in town and I am definitely would go often. And a bigger store to hold more items! Been to a few Miniso stores internationally. Tried to visit today random day when you know everyone is usually at work or at school. Still it was moderately busy. The stuff being sold were ok not as big as the ones I've been to. Didn't have all the stuff I was looking for. Plus shelves were sort of empty. Well hopefully they'll get more items in. read more

The queue was handled terribly. The entire experience took a total of five hours. Most of which was waiting in line, including the line to make a purchase. A queue is unavoidable for a grand opening, however the lack of organization for customer queues was evident. The entrance/ exit door was blocked by the congested line that wrapped around the entire store, making it difficult to enter the store and dangerous in the case of an emergency. Nobody directed customers on where the line should be in the store and management verbally expressed they were unsure of how the line was being managed. The lack of professionalism by management was disappointing. While standing in line with everybody else, we were physically touched and literally shook by what seems to have been a supervisor or manager wearing the Miniso uniform. In an attempt to organize the queue, an employee randomly went up to the customer line. My partner was grabbed by the arm and shook by what seemed was a supervisor, while I felt her hand shove me in the back without any warning prior. Understandable maybe, if followed by reason and an apology. This was out of nowhere, and with no apology issued. An employee has no business putting their hands on a customer. Especially if we are doing the same thing as the people in the front and back of us, and standing in the same line for hours. I must reiterate, there is no reason to touch a customer. read more
