I saw so many Sanrio characters such as Kuromi, My Melody, Pochacco, and Hello Kitty... PLUS, they were tanned! I also noticed a Hello Kitty purse and a bunny stress ball... too Kawaii!! There were no Cony (Line Friends) items... shucks! Well... I know where to find useful, foldable, reusable tote bags... and lanyards... and keychains, towels, t-shirts, backpacks, mugs, fans, bowls, plushies, wireless headphones, insulated tumblers, and luggage tags!

So much fun and happy items that makes you smile with all sorts of characters like Sanrio, Pokemon, and even some local cuties that are totes, accessories and lots of plushies the selection here are amazing with items that are hard to find elsewhere you're sure to find something that will make you smile. Located in Pearlridge Mauka, near Macys, this store is open 10 AM to 8 PM daily except on Sundays when they close at 6. They are an anime store, with a lot of inventory of toys, action figures, and other type of collectibles. They are on the more expensive side, but tbh honest what isn't? You may find a better deal at maybe animation magic upstairs but I feel like Mini Q has a better selection and is geared more towards anime. The workers there are also very nice and helpful. Just as a tip, I just call them to ask if they have what I want in their store or something equivalent. They offer good recommendations when possible and even suggested I check out Razor when they didn't have the item I wanted in stock.

I was hesitant on posting this review, but unfortunately this certain situation keeps on happening and I am not going to stand for it anymore. Me and my partner frequently go to this shop whenever we are wondering the mall, and almost every time we have gone and shopped, we are almost ALWAYS being watched... it is very disturbing and disappointing seeing that it seems like they are profiling us. Things to note about us: my partner ALWAYS wears small fanny packs, and me, a purse that is closed at all times. We wear casual clothes, and yet, they continue to stare at us, and follow us around the store. Of course, we had NO INTENTIONS of stealing, and yet them watching us makes us feel like criminals. There should not be an excuse of the employees being "too shy" because this is inappropriate behavior, and again, makes me feel very uncomfortable, leading me to my next point. I will no longer shop here again. The amount of times we have caught employees literally WATCHING US is unacceptable, especially since I have previously worked retail myself, and am always frustrated with theft as well, but just choosing random people to watch without any actual ques or a real reason is just disgusting. There are things that you are trained to watch for when you work in retail, and it seems like there is a lack of that. It makes me sad because I loved your products and what you had to offer, but I am sorry, if I can't shop here without being watched like a hawk, then I can just take my business elsewhere. Please train your employees better and train them correctly on watching for theft in the right way. I hope no one else has to experience this. :(

Wow! AMA's Dream Shop makes your dreams come true!…read more I wanted to try the new forever lei bag charms. I picked up pikake strands at the Hawai'i Market Expo show (see Yelp review). I knew I needed the attachments and other items to make this lei bag charm. I went to AMA's Dream Shop and I immediately went to Jolene for help. She is amazing! Maybe that's what the AMA stands for?!? She showed me what I needed and went beyond helping me! Jolene literally showed me how to use a crimp bead and how to use the cable wire instead of the plastic string that held the beads together. The service here and attention to the customer is beyond a five star rating. She talked about options and I was floored. I tried hard to remember all the details and knowledge she gave me! Well, I tried my first one and it came out great thanks to Jolene! I'll keep trying! Hopefully, my skills will improve. AMA's Dream Shop sells already made forever lei bag charms, key charms and more! Reasonably priced. No. 1 DIY craft store in Hawai'i in my book!

First of all their adorable totes immediately captured my attention with vibrant and adorable prints for the local floral, Disney and the latest craze Labubu as well seeing the various sizes at such great prices really had me thinking of which one to choose from. They not only have totes but some beautiful jewelry and accessories but what I actually got was their koozies which came in three sizes all with samples of different size and types of cups it fits very practical for me to use for the condensations and loved the various prints as well along with the stickers so beautiful and worked perfectly with my new glass cup. Love the creativity and prices here and to support local as they know what we need in our daily lives and here has the items that was too hard to resist. Thank you!

We took a peek inside and promised to return after lunch... And we did! I got a kawaii straw topper that looks like holiday gingerbread. My niece got a rare Red Panda plushie! We were so happy to get reasonably priced, original items (we had never seen these things before). Service was friendly and efficient! The interior of the shop was bright and clean! The shared parking was free! The variety of merchandise ranged from practical (like Elmer's glue, hair ties, pens, refrigerated beverages, zippered pouches, post-it notes, and totebags) to fun (like stickers, fuzzy keychains, and miniature Funko Pop characters). It broke after only three or four days due to poor assembly. When she politely returned to ask about a replacement, the owner, Lucas, spoke to her with extreme verbal abuse, profanity, and personal insults until she left in tears. When I addressed the situation calmly, he stated that he did not care that he had made a child cry and continued speaking aggressively. This is not about a refund policy. A business can choose its policy. This is about basic conduct toward a minor and a customer. We have supported this store many times, but after this experience, we will not return. Families in Mililani should know how customers, including little children, may be treated here. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable bringing my child back into this store.

Small comic/collectible shop in Mililani…read more Came here when they were hosting a Dungeon's and Dragon's event our kids were attending. Love that they partner/support community events like this. The place is small but packed with lots of interesting merch. I have zero knowledge about comics, games, anime, toys, cards, etc. but my kids' eyes lit up when they entered and my youngest couldn't leave without buying an anime plush. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Located in the Mililani Shopping Center. LOTS of parking. Support local businesses.

Sadly we don't have many bookstores on the island, there is of course Barnes and Noble, Bookoff, bookends, and few other stores. After Borders closed, we don't have many places to go to buy brand new books except for Walmart or Target. However, there are many good finds here and a chance to give some used books/media/toys a new home. The staff here are very nice, though of course they don't have a system catalog here. But that's part of the fun, the treasure hunting fun. You never know what you may find. Bookoff also has a buyback counter, where you can sell your used movies, books, etc. but just be aware they are like the old saying where they only offer pennies on the dollar. So you won't make a lot of money selling here. But if you just want to get rid of stuff and make some money, this may be a good option for you.

The owner greeted me right away with that warm, aloha spirit energy. No attitude, no long drawn-out process. She got straight to scanning my old dusty books while I waited, and when she was done, she texted me -- yes, texted me -- to let me know. Walked up, got my receipt, got my quote. Super professional, super smooth. Here's the best part: while I was waiting, I browsed around and found three gifts for my grandchildren that I knew they'd love. So in one trip I freed up a ton of space at home from books that had been taking up way too much room and knocked out some gift shopping. Win-win-win! The whole setup is easy too -- rolled the carts right from my car into the store, no stress. My friend was chillin' in the massage chair outside the whole time, so nobody's time was wasted. I was originally just gonna dump everything at Goodwill. So glad I didn't. I'm already planning to come back with my old DVDs and CDs just sitting my shed in the backyard.
