Was stoked my mom & I found a local Oahu brand that is truly inclusive! Finding stylish, high-quality tees that fit my dad comfortably can be a challenge. However Homegrown at Pearlridge totally delivered. The material is nice, the graphics are clean & the fit is perfect for literally anyone on your shopping list. P.S. my dad is very picky with his clothes & I'm pretty sure his entire wardrobe is only black tees. However it's safe to say he's a fan & is already out running errands in it today! Highly recommend stopping by if you want authentic local gear that will fit everyone. (I believe the guy working the front said they go up to size 6x & my dad wears a 3x) #LocalSupport #OahuStyle #InclusiveFashion XOXO, ChelsieFletcher read more

This is a must stop for us whenever we go to PR. Love supporting our local artist and there is always something new when we visit. To me it's kind of like a mini Made in Hawaii without all the traffic can take out time looking at items and just have fun!! I especially like how they carry Ua Beauty stuff, saves me a trip to their store at Ala Moana. I would have given Homegrown 5 stars but I found it a lil strange when a worker politely came to me and asked if there was anything particular I was looking for and I said "yes do you have any baby boy clothes? She said "all we have is on the floor" Ummmm ok so why did you ask what I'm looking for? Anyway proceeded to go look for baby clothes didn't find anything I wanted but I did find other cute stuff I wasn't looking for. All in all love this store and always make it a stop for us whenever at Pearlridge. read more

Ok... so, this year on Black Friday of 2025... THIS PLACE WAS BUMPIN'! I LOVE IT! They sell ALL HAWAII LOCAL ITEMS, BRAND NAMES & they have basically ALL you could think of. ALL HAWAIIAN OR HAWAIIAN INSPIRED PRODUCTS! From Clothibgs, to animal gear down to jewelry and magnets. Their wordings on their products are absolute amazing too! Gifts for EVERYONE in the family! HOWEVER... let's just say to COME PREPARED with "SPENDING MONEY" meaning... you have money to SPLURGE! Yes, they are a bit pricey, but worth it! (If you have the funds) I think it's reasonable cost when it comes to HOMEMADE, HANDMADE items! Because you support the person making them. And NOT the machine that's mass producing the items. As for sales, I'm not too sure what they were offering BUT... let me ist say, their merchandise is TOO CUTE & VERY NICE! Especially because these ARE THINGS that people don't have time to make or don't know HOW, which makes it more-so priceless, right!? Anywho, the store is really worth looking at and most of the items are original too. YES there will be duplicates, but... I STILL say it's worth looking or buying. If you ONLY KNEW the history of this place of what or how and everything in between til now, I think you would be as proud as me! ID love to tell more, but I think I'll leave that up to you to find out. Okie dokes! Thanks for reading and have a good one! Much aloha and HAVE FUN! read more

Homegrown is always on our list of shops to visit when my family and I visit Hawaii. We love representing the islands when we go to concerts in San Diego! I love the variety of items they have from adults to kids and babies. Great selection of hats as well. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Their items are also good quality. read more

Rating is just based off customer service, overall love that you can find so many brands all in one place! I do go into this store frequently because I work nearby, and almost always no one really makes conversation with you. But kinda just watches you. I normally go after work so I'll have a big aloha collection bag and another bag for my lunch. So to get to the point yesterday when I went in around 6ish I was walking around looking for small items for a gift and Keiki clothing. There were associates walking around but no one asked if I needed help or acknowledged me. Which I'm used to that's fine. And i'm just shopping around so I didn't plan to buy just yet. When coming from the back of the store to the front I was scanning around and made eye contact with an associate just staring at me. My perception was she assumed I was going to steal so she was told to watch me. She never once said anything to me but when we made eye contact she quickly looked away. Instantly left, because again my perception...but they didn't acknowledge me, didn't bother asking if I needed assistance but just assumed I was there to steal. It's sad. I would love to support a local business, but not if that is the way I'll be treated. I hope things change, but for now. I'll just support those businesses directly. read more

I couldn't come to Hawaii and not visit Homegrown! I didn't really see anything until, "for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy..." How can 3 or 4 shops recently open in Pearlridge with Hawaiian themed items in close proximity to each other? This is a good sized store with lots of inventory. I wanted to find a larger different looking backpack so I went in to browse. An unexpected find- a cute, light in weight dangling earring, a good accessory for an Orange Party I'll be attending soon. I only had time to browse half the store as the timer went off on my iPhone to pick hubs up from PT. Next time I'll check out the shop by satellite City Hall by Arby's and the classy looking one on the street level close to the escalators. read more

I love this place! If you live here on Oahu or coming to visit this place is the one for you! This place consists of many hawaiian print items! Me and my younger sister were browsing trying to look for the perfect gift for my sister's birthday. We ended up finding something and I told my younger sister to go pay for it so she can improve her social skills. As she was standing in line, she reported to me that the cashier was quite rude and the customer service showed no acts of aloha. The cashier passed some rude remarks such as "Show me the money" as if my sister was going to steal. I know in this day and age it can be difficult to deal with kids stealing and it's important to look at both sides. The mall just opened too so giving that type of attitude in the morning can shift the business's image. I know it shifted my perspective of the business. read more

I'm honestly not sure what kind of customer service training is provided here, because it doesn't show. My family and I came in on a Wednesday evening and were ready to check out. We followed the store's signage for the line, which wraps from the right side of the registers toward the front. As we passed one cashier, Ki'ilei, there was no acknowledgment. Not even a simple greeting or indication that she was available. She seemed busy with a stack of tags, so out of courtesy I didn't approach her. My husband was behind me and noticed a small gesture from her and asked if she was available to check us out. She responded with, "yeah, I'm waiting," but in a tone that came across as rude and dismissive. At the time, I chose not to react, but after much thought, some BASIC acknowledgment when customers approach would have gone a long way. What stood out even more was the shift in her demeanor once she saw my husband's ASB card and realized we qualified for a discount. Her tone became significantly friendlier, which felt fake. I enjoy shopping here because of the variety of items from local businesses, but the atmosphere has been uncomfortable. Each time I come in, I've felt more watched than welcomed. There are a handful of staff on the floor, yet there are rarely any check-ins which I don't mind, since I'm not big on conversation, but the lack of basic acknowledgment is noticeable. So much "aloha" for a store that supports local businesses. Do better. read more

This store carries the culture of Hawaii from childhood toys, t-shirts, old items from 1970s exclusive to Hawaii. An example is a paper made yellowish portfolio that cost 10 cents to hold blank paper on one side and homework on the other side. For us poor families, that was a great help with nine kids. My mom gave me five and made it last throughout the year by taping it. They have jewelry, stickers, wooden signs and bags. This store is worth going in. Remember the fashions are like a small boutique with a mean overhead. Th we y will be opening a huge store on first level of Pearlridge Uptown across from Razors. Watch out, you can easily drop $100-$300 in 5-10 minutes. I dropped close to $60. I int NF to com back for other items. They have a rewards program, 1 point every $25...and rewarded 10% or more off your next item? 20 points is a reward...so, $500 will get 20 pts. Have fun...Ciao! read more

Love this store every thing is Hawaiian made and beautiful patterns colors and style and cute stuff

Especially with the many Native Hawaiians, living in diaspora, due to rising costs of housing and living, we have many opportunities to not just support local businesses but to support Native Hawaiian businesses. Homegrown offers a venue for supporting many Native Hawaiian businesses who many not have the start up ability to establish their own shop. Easy one stop shop for lots of different authentic Hawaiian gifts, household needs, clothes, accessories. While all of these separate businesses may have their own website, Homegrown allows you the opportunity to see these items up close and try on clothes before purchase. Since most of these businesses are not just Native Hawaiian but also offer items made in Hawaii, rather than outsourcing, some items may cost more than the average but I find that they're still reasonable. read more

From the ocean to the mountains, the beautiful blue skies and all the plants and trees...our beautiful state of Hawai'i is expressed here in Homegrown. Located on the ground level in the Pearlridge Center Uptown Homegrown has something for everyone in your life. Clothing, hats, pillows, blankets, books, stickers, totes, and countless accessories. Many you know and have seen and many for me unfamiliar ones, all will be loved by locals for sure. As I shopped around each section...started with the bags of course was delighted to see some from Aloha and many more others with fun quotes that almost got me but had to resist, the to the back was a wall of pillows and blankets ohhhhmmmygawd!! Monstera, succulent and Kale how cute is that!!!?!...resisted...omg!!! though kept a mental check cause I know exactly who'd like that and would make a fabulous gift for sure! Then to the front of the store are some health and beauty items such as lotion, oils and soaps in various scents, reed diffuser from Jules + Gem and what caught my eye was a fish. Not just any fish FishBellies it's a fish shaped 100% cotton fabric sack filled with extra clean kernel corn from what it says due to it's large surface making it able to retain heat or cold for long period of time. Just microwave for heat or freeze for cold therapy and it's simply adorable! I did microwave as I wanted heat therapy and it did stay warm longer than other items I've used before. Not including the tail just the fish body size itself is about 10" and is filled just right to flop it onto any where that needs relief. I'm thrilled and love my fish though made in American not in Hawai'i but Maine. Well it's hella hot now so maybe I should throw it in the freezer for cold therapy lol! it's the cutest thing and is conveniently found here. Thank you! read more

The best store in PearlRidge. I always stop by when I'm visiting- its a mini Made In Hawaii festival without the crowds. Take your time and look around, you'll find all kine stuff- clothes (palaka of every color), jewelry, cute bags, kids stuff, toys, books, snacks, kitchen, tshirts, quality stuff. And if you're in town playing tourist like me, hop on the rail (skyline) at Halawa, take the scenic ride to kapolei and back and get off at PearlRidge on the way back to do a little shopping. Buy and load your Holo card at the station. Another souvenir. read more

I'm all about supporting local businesses, and this shop truly shines with its selection of items. That said, the customer service experience left something to be desired. During my visit this past weekend, one of the male employees--wearing a lei--appeared disengaged and somewhat dismissive. He reached over me to grab something from the shelf without saying "excuse me," which felt inconsiderate. Small gestures of courtesy go a long way, and moments like these can make or break a customer's decision to return. read more

Always supporting local... This store has a lot of local attire for the entire family. Too many local brands to choose from which I love ..

I can't stay away from this store. That's how invitingly awesome this store is. From the beautiful essential oil scents to the array of colored baby clothes- onesies, women's clothing, men's Homegrown shirts, Hawaiian Puzzles, games, cards for children and flowers draped all on this front table as you enter. Thank God they have comfortable cushion chairs outside this store. (for hubby to relax as I shop). I love the "hawaiian" flower hair accessories. I've purchased blouses, bags and hair accessories for myself & for gifts. When you first enter this store you're greeted with a warm Aloha, E komo mai and then you hear the most beautiful sound above.... Hawaiian Music. It's the traditional hawaiian music too! I just melt inside, i feel at home and before I know it I'm singing and trying all the different hair accessories. I can never just enter and exit without purchasing something. As I was strolling through Pearlridge, this store caught my attention and curiosity. I immediately turned my family around and dragged them into this shop. I love seeing all the prints, and local brand products on clothing, home decor, and accessories. Baby monstera print blankets is on my wish list, so I'll be back to shop the baby section once I find out the gender. Some ladies, men's, and keiki clothes are in the back and on the left wall. I like coming here when I'm looking for a local homemade gift to send to someone on the mainland or for my bf. The store sells an assorted variety of local crafts made by multiple local vendors and I am all about supporting local. The jewelry here is so lovely and there are gold bracelets with colored pearls, Koa wood jewelry and a variety of other trinkets from cheap to expensive. There are also locally made soap, bath bombs, plants, bags, clothing, literally any kind of gift for anyone. The things I have purchased the most are the T-shirts. My bf is a local boy with Hawaiian pride and Hawaiian blood and it's hard to find unique shirts that aren't mass produced. He really likes the hawaiian designs and you can tell it was made by someone who lives here in the state. The shirts here are well designed and the quality is great and not cheaply made. The prices here aren't cheap but it's great quality and supports local families. I shall be returning read more

Without a doubt, "Homegrown" is now on my short list when it comes to finding the perfect gift for just about anyone...and maybe the occasional treat for myself too! For those who crave locally-made clothing, accessories & housewares--not to mention food, toys, artwork, bath accessories, air plants & so on--made by locally-owned businesses, Homegrown has a little of everything...they're literally a one-stop shop! I particularly love the vibrant colors of the merchandise and the cheerful / helpful staff here, both of which are very welcoming. The open layout also encourages browsing...and make no mistake, there is plenty of browsing to be done, with every nook and cranny filled with an amazing assortment of beautiful items ranging from simple mo'olelo postcards to the most stylish lauhala papale. Not all of their stuff is "Hawaiian" per se, but most of their merchandise seems to have a Hawaiian flair, featuring vibrant colors, bold prints and lots of personality. Another great thing about Homegrown is that their business is 100% family-owned and operated, started by craft-show vendors who saw a need and decided to open this shop, in order to feature their own & other craft-show vendors' wares on a permanent basis. Just ask any of the staff--all are relatives of the owners--and they're happy to share the story. When Homegrown first opened on February 1, 2017, they started off with merchandise from about 20 to 30 different artists / crafters / vendors, who were mostly friends of the owners, from the craft-show circuit. Now they feature items from about 50 to 60 different vendors, and the selection just seems to keep growing. Not that I'm complaining...that's what makes it so easy to find something for everyone! As a sidenote, if you're not used to attending craft shows, you may find the prices here a bit on the higher side, but I think that's just a reflection of the limited-scale production (ie this stuff is NOT mass-produced in China!) and limited availability. Personally, I couldn't afford to shop here every day for my own stuff, but I'm always willing to pay a little more for a gift that's high-quality and not readily available elsewhere. That said, I've also been known to myself once in a while too, so either way...I'll be back! read more
