Wow! We were roaming around Ala Moana Center's Ewa Wing when we came across this new boutique called "sugar sugar Hawaii" and were drawn in by its window display. Located nearby are the LEGO Store, Gilly Hicks and Homecoming on Level 3. According to the sales representative, they just opened a week ago and they're currently celebrating their Grand Opening. We were mainly drawn in by their home accessories but did also notice fashion accessories, apparel, and stationery. Yeah, the apparel was cute and petite but not age appropriate to me...ah, I can dream on! Anyway, speaking with the sales woman, she mentioned their humble beginnings in the Ohana Hale Marketplace. She's excited for this expansion. Obviously, this store space is much larger than the stall in the marketplace and the displays look more organized and inviting. They're currently open Mon through Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and Sundays 12 pm to 7 pm. They also feature a loyalty card for purchases for increments of $10. We liked what we saw in this shop and plan to return soon. Welcome to Ala Moana Center and wishing them lots of success in the Year of the Metal Ox!

What a sugar high! This is finding your own personal zen...either it's jewelry, accessories, plants, scented luxury soaps, incense, stickers, power stones and much more Sugar Sugar Hawaii has a great specialized items I haven't seen anywhere. I absolutely love the uniqueness they offer, I got Air Plant Fertilizer spray to try and help out my former black now promoted to...grey thumb, some stickers and a diffuser bracelet made with Carnelian Stone and raw wood beads to add essential oils to (yeah!). Carnelian stimulates passion, inner strength which promotes courage to motivation and growth. Keep up with all the sweetness and find them on their website www.sugarsugarhi.com Instagram @sugarsugarhi Facebook Sugar Sugar Hawaii What a fantastic retail therapy and superb sugar high! Thank you!!!

This is my first time here based of Lyla's review. I love the rustic set up with lots of items to buy. They have these collapsible containers with a cap to carry...nice for travel. Baskets and prices on wall are as, large $108, medium $54, and small $30. I did purchase 4 pins with 1 with saying, "Save The Bees". I was on a time limit and will return because I like certain things and had to prioritize my purchases after spending in Lego. There were a good amount of things besides clothes. It's a place to browse and take your time. Masks are required. No hand sanitizers. Friendly... Located two doors from Lego going towards middle of Ala Moana Center. Be safe...Ciao!

Cute artsy store with a variety of handcrafted items ranging from bracelets to earrings. Tons of cute T-shirts albeit slightly over priced ($32). The staff is friendly, explaining that most of the items are made on this island or neighboring islands. The theme is definitely hippy to island chic. You can also find home decor, slightly too garden for my taste. Great place to find gifts. They also have a cute baby section. Small section of clothes and dresses, very nice color selections.

If each person spent $ at a small business instead of a big online retailer, imagine how much money would be reinvested into our local economy. I took that message to heart. I've been frequenting Ginger13 for years, and supporting Cindy is always a joy. She creates truly one of a kind pieces, and her aloha spirit shines through in everything she does. You don't just shop here. You feel welcomed and inspired. I spent nearly two hours in the store just days before Christmas, and narrowing down my choices was nearly impossible. Every corner is filled with beautiful, thoughtfully curated items, all at incredibly reasonable prices. On top of that, Cindy offers exceptional customer service. If anything ever happens to your unique piece, you are in the best hands. Make a day of it and stop by Mille Fête as well to support another amazing local woman entrepreneur who is absolutely crushing it. Treat yourself to stunning home goods and jewelry at Ginger13, then reward yourself with something sweet from this phenomenal bakery. Thank you, Cindy and Mindy. Sugarcane is this cute shop where you can find all these locally made items for a gift, for the home, fir kids, for a friend, or for visitors. They have books, puzzles, toys jewelry, totes, bags, coasters and more. I love the wooden toys for the kids. I bought a wooden cell phone, a camera, stickers and a cute cooking set. They are my kiddos favorite toys. I've gotten key chains and jewelry for gifts. We have coasters for our home too. The workers are pretty friendly and they also wrapped my gift item too. The items seem pricey, but they are locally made and are unique. I don't think you'll find any ship with the same kind of item that Sugarcane carries. Overall, this is a great place to get gifts and maybe something for yourself. Beware of bringing your children. They will make you buy everything.

Shopping in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My mom was on the hunt for Year of the Dragon shirts for my sister in Colorado, my nephew, and my nieces. We went to Walmart, Don Quijote, Dillingham Shirt Outlet, and Maunakea Street in Chinatown. She found shirts at Jessica's Jewelryand Gifts, but she didn't get a shirt for my nephew's girlfriend. In a panic, mom called me to go back to Jessica's. They were sold out. Only XL gray shirts were left. I entered Maunakea Marketplace, where I had dropped her off the other day, but she didn't walk far enough in... to get to YaFangShi Fashion. On the day before Lunar New Year, I saw many shirts of various colors and different designs hanging outside a shop! Inside, the clothes were neatly folded, and the dresses were hanging for better viewing. OMG... It was like t-shirt heaven! The shop was called YaFangShi Fashion. The friendly owner introduced herself and said that her name was Lian and that she's been here for 24 years! I had passed by often... and even bought a lavender-colored Cony umbrella, but didn't know the name of the shop. Looking around, Lian even had dresses, tops, jackets, footwear, accessories, and pants! I got a navy blue, medium-sized Year of the Dragon shirt for my nephew's girlfriend and gave it to mom to give to her on Lunar New Year. Everyone was happy! Yay! Happy Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon!
