It was a friend of mine that texted to tell me that there was a Hello Kitty collaboration premiering while I was visiting that got me obsessed! I was not a fan of it, but she is. So I stood in line...a loooong line for her. By the time I made it in, most of the items were already sold out. Because I waited in a long line, I made it a point to buy a couple of bags for me and my daughter. When we got back to our hotel, we opened up our bags and realized how much we loved it! The bags are good quality and the prints were cute! We ended up going back, spent an easy couple hundred dollars and then ordered a ton online. (The Black Friday prices helped.) I had called this Aloha Collection to find the Hawaii/Waikiki exclusive products and the person who answered was so nice. When I called the Waikiki location twice, no one ever picked up. So I came by here knowing that they had what I was looking for. Little did I know that you would have to wait in line on a weekday evening, which was surprising to me. It was about 10 deep, which wasn't too bad and they did count people leaving to let the same number of people in. It only took about 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Once inside, I'm kind of happy they did that because I can see how the store would get really crowded if everyone came in at once. It made for a pleasant shopping experience with plenty of staff being available to answer questions and offering help. I got the Hawaii exclusive tote and pouch I was looking for, and they had my information in the system from my online purchases. I have quite a few Aloha totes and love the quality and the fact that they are waterproof which is great to take to the beach for keeping out sand, and has helped in a few spill situations. First time having to stand in line for the store. I normally would not, but my cousin who is from Maui wanted to go in because they were having their 50% off sale. We were #15,16, and it took about 20mins for us to go in, not bad, but never again. Store is small but pretty well stocked. I usually do my ordering online, and I actually had 2 orders in the mail. They had just come out with the Helly Kitty collaboration and it went fast. I was able to get a couple online, but I read that there were some exclusive designs only sold in the stores and only shipped to Hawaii residents. They were sold-out of course because it had been a week since it came out, and if you know anything about Hawaii...things sell out fast. Unfortunately I'm not a resident nor do I like crowded pushy shoppers. I have an extensive collection due to the sales that i can't resist. I especially like the reversible tote and the small pouch. I have a couple of day trippers and totes. What I especially like about these bags is the durability, waterproof and how they don't take up space when packing for travel, so I don't have to limit myself to one design. I share the same sentiment with the comment below about customer service. I'm a local and have been to this store several times and can say that this location has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. This store has quite a bit of Gen Z staff who present themselves as lacking the proper training and basic understanding of customer service in the retail industry. All the staff stand around and lack warmth and greeting when you walk into the store. They all have flat facial expressions and walk away as soon as you approach products. Many workers standing around behind the cashier. One staff was helping a white older woman, some of us non-white were browsing, looking for stuff, touching around and nobody helped us. I went up to the cashier since nobody asked if we needed helped, and I asked her questions she showed us the items and as soon as she saw the same white older woman at the cashier, she just walked to the cashier she just left me hanging said "I gotta go help"when there was another person already at the cashier so I left and told them that I wasn't wide enough to deserve help from that store. read more

I peeked in this shop around Christmas with my son and the shop was packed. Later, when we went to Japan, he took lots of their bags as omiyage and everyone loved them. Last week I stopped by with a friend visiting from Japan and ended up buying two pieces for myself. A small tote bag and also a travel bag. I love the small tote since it's light and also has a shoulder strap if I want to use it. The design of the bag is contemporary, and it's mainly black (since I always wear black). The travel bag is nylon and has a luggage sleeve so you can fit it over the handle of your suitcase. I was impressed with the quality of the bags. There were also several styles on sale. Most of my experience with Aloha Collection is ordering from their website for the last few years, but it was nice to have a chance to at last visit their retail store in Ala's on 8/30/2025! I stopped by about 20 min after the store opened on a Saturday morning and the place was packed with both locals and tourists. The main reason I'd gone into the store was after receiving an email the day before about their Hokule'a collab and the T-shirt really caught my eye. Timing-wise, it was fortuitous that I'd happened to be visiting my Dad in Honolulu for a few days during the release of these Hokule'a items and decided it'd make sense to jump on it - instead of putting it off, ordering it online and then having to pay for shipping, especially since I'd noticed the selection of sizes online were selling out quick, within just a day or two. As of 8/30/2025, they had most sizes still available at the retail store on display - you just bring the tee on a hanger over to the cash wrap and staff will give you the one that's already folded in a sealed plastic bag. The two employees that I'd interacted with were very pleasant, friendly and gave great customer service. One of the employees explained that they have another store in Waikiki and how that one is in a lower traffic area that's not as busy, if I'd like to check it out in the future, which was helpful info to be aware of and I appreciated him for letting me know! I have about 5 of their items; a couple of the hip packs that are very handy, Dopp kit, Day Tripper, and a crossbody from their T&C collab and they are all great quality, useful, very lightweight, collapsible/packable, the zippers work well and they are excellent for both travel and every day use. I admit it's on the pricey side for what it is, but if you can get them on sale, that's a plus - otherwise for their limited edition collabs, if you're on the fence - it's worth paying full price due to the quality of their items and how quickly they sell out. Embraced the long line on Black Friday evening. Keeping and maintaining order went well. What made the line move quicker were friendly and calm employees. I prefer to shop for Aloha Collection in person due to inspecting each merchandise for color, design, stitching, straps, zippers. I purchased a couple mid pouches as gifts for my two dear friends that were raised on O'ahu and now reside on the US Continent. I took into consideration their lifestyle and taste. They loved the merch! I love the multipurpose, functional, reversible, and water resistant mid pouches, large pouches, and totes. Zippers are a prerequisite for me. I'm also very selective with designs. I prefer minimalist, classic, and prints with significant meaning. I can separate wet swimwear or clothes from dry wear while traveling, exercise, at the beach, pool, water amusement parks. People have preferences pending on taste. If you purchase merchandise at full price with tags intact and receipt, consumers are able to get a refund. However, if you buy the same item(s) on sale, there are no refunds and all sales are final. read more

For the longest time, you could only buy Aloha Collection bags online. I'm so glad they opened a location in Ala Moana Center. For bags, it's just easier to shop in person and buy the items same day especially when it's for gifting. I also like to feel the bag materials since some are slightly different. The bags are pricey but they are waterproof and great for traveling because the day tripper works well as a carry on. The store is located in the Ewa Wing on level 3 by Mango Mango. The inside of the store is small but I like seeing all the designs and bag styles available in one place. There's a lot of staff in the store but also a lot of customers. The line to pay can get long especially when they had the buy one get one free offer and the Hawaiian Airlines collab release in the same weekend. read more

We drove up the Piikoi ramp and turned onto the 4th floor of the parking structure. The shop is located next to Mango Mango. The interior of the shop was busy with tourists! These bags, totes, fanny packs, pickle ball gear, water containers, coin purses, pouches, backpacks, etc. are great gifts because they're useful, lightweight, sturdy, and waterproof! There are colorful prints, Hawaiian designs, and plain styles... something for everyone! I was really tempted to get something. I even looked at the Sale items... but... I've been an online supporter of Aloha Collection for years and I love that they have an Ala Moana location now! Aloha Collection is known for their bags and pouches made from splash-proof fabric. I love using these pouches for everything from makeup, wet bathing suits, and as packing cubes when I travel. They come in a few different sizes from mini, small, mid, and max. They also have a "cutie" extra small round pouch with a keychain- perfect for dog owners. I also have a few of their tote bags which are amazing for stuffing all your beach stuff in. My fav is their holo holo tote that's also reversible. They even have a tote with a zipper that perfect for traveling. The prints are so fun and represent island life so well! Most popular Day Tripper bag ($72) has a zipper and holds a lot, is waterproof, and hasn't ripped or fallen apart yet and we use and abuse ours... it's great for Hawaii. It seems $$ but it's worth it. They've added backpacks, waist bags (aka Fanny pack), cross bodies, small pouches, med pouches, and other sized tote bags. Aloha! I think this is one of the best ideas of bringing this store to the mall! Everything about the Aloha collection product is absolutely worth every penny you spend! The quality, style and value. Every now and then they have awesome sales that make it even better. I became a fan of the hipster when I got my dog and started walking and training him and needed something to carry hands free. It's not only compact but they are pretty to have them in you! The store is clean and full of color! I visited this store twice and got greeted with a welcome on both days, but so nice to just browse around because there is a lot of things to see! The sales staff was nice and helpful. Nice shop near Bloomingdales level three. Staff are welcoming and helpful. I didn't want to drive there and find the style I wanted want available so I called. They were helpful and didn't seem to mind my asking. Nice selection of pouches (small, medium, max), day totes, backpack purses, etc. little hard to shop for matching pieces (I was looking for a day tote and max pouch) because they aren't set up by style. It took quite a long time to view all the styles but it was fun shopping there. Love the waterproof and lightness of the fabric. That's the real draw. Prices are high but worth it for the two reasons I gave. Was also shopping due DIL who lives on the mainland so she had to call to ask if they had the styles she wanted in stock. (Online doesn't tell you what is in stock, and you want to buy in store unless you plan to order $300 to avoid shipping $. Why Maybe? Because I'm not sure I'm shopping local. I thought I was shopping local, however when I got home I noticed the tag had a California address... Would be 5 if online showed what's in stock and if shipping was based on amount spent. I was going to say it should be less for orders in Hawaii, but since this company isn't based in Hawaii, I guess I can't make that recommendation. read more

I have a bunch of bags from Aloha Collection but have never gone to any store since a few weeks ago. I had bought the teal palaka from the Big Show and some of my family saw and wanted them as well, so I emailed them and they said they had them in stock at their Ala Moana location. I went and bought so many! Plus they had a good sale going on so I just couldn't help myself. They had lots of variety and even has some leftover stuff from the Big Show which was nice because I was thinking that was it. The staff was friendly which is always a plus! They're located on the Nordstrom side, I believe Mango Mango is right next. Check them out, they just might have a sale going on and you may buy more than what you expected! Lol read more

Great location, right at the top of the escalator of the 3rd floor ewa wing meal Bloomingdale's. I happen to go for the grand opening, got there at 11a (store opened at 12) and the line was wrapped around the building going all the way to Nordstrom. The line was steady for over 4 hours after opening, and they sold out of the special print! A little disappointed but the store was beautiful and the bagels are awesome, so I'll be back! This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had while trying to support a local business. Local customers were the ones who supported you from the start, but now it feels like we've been completely forgotten. You shut down customer service from December 20 to January 6, leaving customers with no way to get help. Even worse, orders placed in **November** still haven't been delivered--and it's now **December 27**. No updates, no communication, and absolutely no accountability. Your bags might be fun, but so are plenty of other brands that actually respect their customers. My circle of friends, who have supported you since day one, are definitely moving on, and we recommend that others do the same.
