Just love that Workshop 28 has found a home in Pearlridge Center Mauka side on the second floor which is in the spot formerly occupied by Express so you know that it a lovely and spacious shop. The layout is quite spacious so it's so easy to browse the various merchandise they have which is quite a lot and I'm just so impressed with how creative each various items are. Known for the fun coasters that has makes a great gift to pair of any item, the hats that has built in Mickey ears are just so fun and entertaining but the luggage strap that has the built in TSA lock is super cute and makes searching for your bags easier and secure as well. The staff is just a delight as we chatted for a bit and the uniqueness they carry is appreciated for everyone and every room in your home which is something found only right here in Hawaii...supporting local small biz is something that I do love and right here they have that and so much more. Now that the Trusted Traveler program has been reinstated as Honolulu moves into Tier 3, that can make it a little easier for non-military folks to get here if someone can sponsor you in the gate. This place is a more upscale alternative to the kinds of things you might find at the Stadium Swap Meet, ABC Stores, or similar. Great for gifts and home decor, similar to Soha Living. Not quite everything is locally made, but a significant proportion is. They carry a lot of my favorites - Nick Kuchar prints, Coco Moon for baby gifts, Bradley & Lily cards and notebooks, Pura Vida. The prices are what you'd pay anywhere else, and the money goes to support military-affiliated charities. They have some clothing, keiki stuff, holiday decor, jewelry, jams and jellies, kitchen/bar items, gifts. Hours are mostly mornings (9-1 many days), but they are also open Saturdays. They do close during Christmas/New Years, so keep that in mind if you need gifts. Parking is available right out front, and it's never been crowded when I've come.

She helped my 11-year-old son with the Warhammer tiny models, taking the time to explain everything needed to get started in painting. Her thorough and detailed explanations really made a difference. "Kaitlynn" was incredibly authentic and genuine - it's rare to find such dedication and care in customer service these days. I really appreciate her outstanding work and wanted to applaud her for it. If you ever visit this store, be sure to ask for "Kaitlynn" - a sweet, hardworking young woman with exceptional customer service skills. Aloha!

Located in Pearlridge Mauka, near Macys, this store is open 10 AM to 8 PM daily except on Sundays when they close at 6. They are an anime store, with a lot of inventory of toys, action figures, and other type of collectibles. They are on the more expensive side, but tbh honest what isn't? You may find a better deal at maybe animation magic upstairs but I feel like Mini Q has a better selection and is geared more towards anime. The workers there are also very nice and helpful. Just as a tip, I just call them to ask if they have what I want in their store or something equivalent. They offer good recommendations when possible and even suggested I check out Razor when they didn't have the item I wanted in stock.
