Recently, Donna O. wrote a review and reminded me that I wanted to take a look... Yes...Donna was the motivator! Itadakimasu (in Japanese language) means "Let's eat" or "I gratefully receive this food". That's where the ceramic bowls and tea cups come in. There's a wide variety of sizes, styles, and patterns at this cozy shop. There's also women's jackets, baby clothing, and t-shirts. The rechargeable, portable fans, key covers, lucky red envelopes, figurines, tote bags, and luggage tags caught my eye. Everything was so cute! I had to leave quickly before I bought everything! Service was friendly and helpful! The shared parking lot (with Anyplace Lounge and Texas Fujiyama) is free! All items are kawaii! Go check it out!

Not sure of name of the building but it could be still called the Bunmeido building. If you're driving by, you can easy miss seeing the shop unless you're happen to be walking in the area or aware of the little shop through their attendance at the Douglas Trade Show at the NBC. You've passed the shop if you are at the gas station or the McDonald's on the right. If you're into Pokemon, Tokoro, Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma. and all those cute Japanese characters this store is for you. They have a lot Japanese dish-ware, houseware, pretty foldable reusable bags, plushy, mugs, kitchen ware, products made in Japan or from Japan. After finding out their store location, it took several attempts to finally go on the day they are open. One time they were on a buying trip & another time I went on a closed day Monday! Finally I got it right and made a quick stop to see what else they may have. I found a cute light weight canvas Rilakkuma tote bag with shoulder strap which I'm still debating if I should give it as a gift or keep it myself. Ha ha. They seem to have new and unique products at every trade show. If you're not able to attend the trade show, this cute little shop is worth checking out if you're looking for an Japanese/Asian gift for someone or perhaps for yourself! Newly opened since March what a fantastic place that support a bunch of small local business here as it's completely locally owned and a few I've seen at select expo, farmers market and craft fairs is conveniently found here. Here you can find items for everyone clothing, home decor, stickers, and accessories and I was finding myself oohhh and ahhhhh-ing with each item. Come check them out as they do have a great return policy as well though all items I got instantly when as gifts and a nice splurge for myself as I do love love love to support small local business and seeing the creativity is so heartwarming. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted by Val and her sister, and felt like we were raiding our sister's bead/craft closet! They have such a large section of beads, lei beads, ribbons, decals, and beading supplies amongst other things. My friend and I arrived at 10:40 this morning, and omg, didn't leave until 12:45! You can honestly spend all day in there easily! We had such a blast in there, and everyone was so helpful, especially because my friend and I had an idea of what we wanted to do but didn't know exactly what we needed! I'm not going to lie, I got a total of 20 decals, BUT they're not all for me, and they're going to be used for presents! Another hot tip: if you feel like you get overwhelmed easily, come to the store with a few bead/lei projects in mind already and look for what you need.
