Another smooth delivery! Kekoa and Charles delivered our dresser with professional tenderness. Mahalo guys! We went to Homeworld on the day they had massive clearance sale. Advertised as up to 70% off. We could not find a dresser that was deeply discounted in that way. Nor were there any style of dressers we liked that were in stock AND under $1000 (except one that looked like a mountain person build it behind the barn. Someone is into that look). My salesperson coached me to photo the SKU of anything we liked so they could check stock. When we finally found something we liked that was in stock, we paid and set the delivery. This piece of furniture looks great. I really wanted to spend $800 but for $1300 we got a well built, mid-century modern-ish dresser that should last 20+ years. And it is not something we had to build (looking at you City Mill). The day before delivery we realized we never got the text to inform us of the scheduled window. Called the store and and discovered it hadn't been scheduled. Our sales person was in the store and they got on the phone with me to reschedule. They were sincerely apologetic. A couple days later we received a thank you card in the mail. The process isn't easy because furniture is so expensive. And most of it takes months to arrive. At homeworld (CS Woo etc.) I appreciate the support the sale team and delivery guys provide. Just please stop advertising a big sale when it is clearly NOT read more

This Honolulu location is very convenient as they have a free parking lot right there and it is surrounded another wonderful furniture store Red Knot/Ashley . I like to explore furniture options and ideas, so this location knocked out 2 stores in one visit. I was looking specifically for a recliner/couch and was welcomed by Travis at the entrance. I got scared that a salesperson was going to hover around us, but we expressed we were only looking. I explored my options in peace. Haha, so after we explored, Travis saw us leave the store. We wanted to check out the other furniture store. We almost immediately returned. That is when we wanted assistance. Travis patiently helped us with the myriad of options for the Lazy-Boy items. It is custom ordered so I wont receive my special couch right away but there were other items that were in stock. It sounded like it would take around 3 months or so for it to arrive. There was a lady also looking for a recliner and relished being helped by their young salesman, so I must mention that they have great customer assistance when you want it, but also will respectfully leave you alone to explore. Terrible experience starting with walking in. No sales person to greet you, no proper communication between employees. Our sales rep didn't understand her own POS system and had to have another employee step in, then made excuses about how they didn't understand each other's layout. Didn't explain any warranty to us, didn't explain pickup/delivery policies but will automatically charge you a delivery fee. They can't tell you your delivery time frame because warehouse operations are separate. You'll get a notification about your delivery time a few days before your delivery date. If you need to reserve your apartment elevator but can't, too bad.... Want to reschedule, too bad... Unless you pay their $200 reschedule fee on top of the delivery fee. read more

Keito Miyagi was wonderful to work with. The selection is also very good. I gave 4 stars for Keito and the other sales associates we've met over our various visits but took a star because we ended up canceling our order for a new beset because we first wanted to buy it in September before Labor Day and the estimated delivery date was for February 2026. We cancelled this order last week, and using furniture on island. Not Keito's fault, but supply chain is just unacceptable to wait 6 months. My aunt moved from Hilo to Honolulu this summer, she furnished her new home from Homeworld as well but she said she bought only what was literally available. read more

Fantastic customer service. We bought a power sofa a few years ago and suddenly the motors on one side quit. Called customer service (no long wait time), the woman looked up our order and referred us to service dept. They called shortly later to set up appointment. Day before the gave us a call with window of service; day of service they sent an email with a link to an app that give frequent updates for arrival time. Very helpful. When the technician arrived, he spent a lot of time looking at the sofa and concluded that it needed a new switch. Turns out he had a switch at warehouse, rescheduled and replaced it today. Very reasonable charge for two calls (for total of more than 2 hours) and new switch (no charge because he had one). I don't often get excited about customers service (at least not positive excitement), but these guys area great!!! read more

We had an excellent experience at HomeWorld Honolulu. The benefit of this location is that there is a HomeWorld connected to a SlumberWorld connected to Ashley Furniture connected to Red Knot. There are literally options for every budget and style. We purchased the most incredible mattress with the help of Jason and have never slept better. We also purchased our bedroom set, coffee table, and media stand with Cel who was incredible. All staff are so kind and welcoming in addition to being super knowledgable about the items and current deals. I never felt any pressure to buy anything which was a big plus because I really don't feel comfortable when someone is hovering over me. Cel made sure that she was around to address any questions or concerns, but was never overbearing or pushy. Honestly, furniture buying is such a stressful experience and it was such a relief to have such an easy time here. Delivery to our home was just as excellent. Thank you HomeWorld! read more

I went in to purchase a lift chair and Tommy gave me all the different options at the different prices. He went into my past purchases and found a similar chair that I had purchased five years ago. He's very friendly and efficient. The two lift chairs I bought years ago have been excellent. I just wanted to get a new one because the cushions were getting a little worn down but I got my money's worth so no complaints. read more

A difficult experience buying and getting my furniture delivered. It has taken 4 months, and was told 4 months later when the furniture was scheduled, that the four chairs had "disappeared," and to order again. But of course, I was suggested more expensive chairs. However, Jeremy, the manager at Homeworld Honolulu gave me a call, and is fixing the situation by getting my furniture finally delivered on Oct 27 in the afternoon. I have downgraded my original 5 star review to 1 star due to an experience with there second delivery team who damaged the freshly painted walls and trim in my home, the new very expensive bed frame they delivered and refused to reinstall the mattress they took off and moved to another room that was on the bed frame they removed and replaced and when I called and spoke to a manager I was told "It's out of our hands because we use a 3rd party delivery service" then my salesperson explained he wanted to help but could not because his hands were tied and basically the company he works for I've downgraded my original 5-star review to 1 star because of a terrible experience with their second delivery team. Don't pay for their delivery and setup; hire another company to come do it. This place overcharges and just points the finger at other people who aren't taking responsibility for their actions. Furnishing a home in Hawai'i can be challenging since much of the furniture must be shipped from the mainland by barge, but Dana made the entire process seamless. She truly understood my style and budget and selected beautiful pieces that stayed within my price range. Even more impressive, she coordinated everything so the furniture was delivered before my remodel was completed. Because of that great experience, when I recently purchased another property, I immediately contacted Dana again--this time from my home in Los Angeles. She did her research and sent me photos and design ideas tailored specifically to my new space. By the time my escrow closes and renovations are finished, my entire apartment will be fully furnished. Dana handled everything, including bedroom furniture, living room pieces, dining room furnishings, and all the necessary accessories. They have a ton of great inventory, an assortment which I believe would allow for everyone to find something within their style preference. We had a few good couch options to choose from. Tommy is an excellent sales person and I am very thankful for his patience and time. The gold star for me was Chelsea, the customer service manager. I won't go into detail, but she went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had. She genuinely cared about helping me and didn't make me feel like a burden. It made me cry because I truly felt like the problem I had would end up costing me thousands of dollars and she figured out a way to help me. So Ashley is own by CS Wo, local company and taken ovee by 3rd generation. We were greeted by friendly salesperson, Van. He's very personable, helpful, and accommodating. The showroom has many options, but Van tuned into what our needs are...very insightful. On this visit was a desk that lifts, loveseat recliner-rocker, and dining table. Recently relocated. Visited the Homeworld on Beretania. Disappointed in the selection & the arrangement of the store. Matching pieces not located together, no definitive "rooms" so you have to wander the entire store to see what they have instead of being in the bedroom area, dining, living etc. Makes it harder to compare. Didn't appreciate the hard sell of the guy who greeted us. We said we were just looking, did the entire circuit so when we had circled back he was there & said you should have told me what you wanted so now let me show you. I explained what I was looking for & he showed me the largest. I said it wasn't long enough & he gave me this incredulous look. He then proceeded to power walk the entire store pointing out items I didn't want, didn't wait or try to engage or ask specifics. He ended with "you've seen it all" & left. Also informed me their pieces are one of a kind. Doubtful imo. Very disappointing. These stores are all under 1 parent company so really not much of a choice here. They need a Thomasville, Ethan Allen, Pottery Barn, etc. read more

Kino was resourceful and showed me how to disassemble the sofa back rest. Barbie has the best memory and always recalls what we discussed in our last convo. Cons: Prep yourself for sticker shock because many items are way more expensive than one might expect. He always buys several pieces of furniture and decorations for his Airbnbs. The store provides great service and excellent prices, so he keeps returning. We have purchased a lot of furniture from homeworld over the past five years and are very satisfied with their service. Our primary salesman is Daniel Ramos, but the service and multiple delivery personnel all are very professional and aloha friendly. Our master bedroom is from their high end Whittier Addison line which is modern / contemporary solid alder with beautiful walnut veneer construction. With great drawer slides the safety straps to prevent pullover for the grand children. We have a credenza for the family room as well. The dining we purchased their Napili very Hawaiian / Polynesian table and chairs from Jameson which is gorgeous. And fitting. Very heavy Koa wood construction. The second bedroom is the Monstera design set which is also beautiful. Still waiting for the chest on this line - its on a ship stuck off the California coast as part of Bidens Boat parade. And the middle bedroom has the Berkeley line in it though still waiting for the chest. Definitely a great store. read more

We called them four times, which the first three times they assured us that the recliner would be delivered while a relative was there to receive it. Homeworld has some impressive showrooms. One can meander through them for days only to find you've been going around in circles. Prices are competitive and for most things fair. Have recently been to both the town location as well as the Pearl City one. Both have had friendly and helpful sales staff approach me to help without being pushy. Homeworld has been bought by C.S. Wo so the service is good. Now Red Knot, Ashley, and Homeworld are all part of the same family. Good news, if one finds pieces they want to purchase from some of these different places, the delivery fee can cover all furniture pieces as long as it is written up at the same time. Things that help me save money are a good thing. Now if only those stressless chairs would come down in price... read more

We had two very good experiences with our furniture purchases. One was with salesperson Keito for a dresser and the other was with Daniel Ruiz for two leather recliners. Although the dresser arrived with some manufacturer defects, Keito got on top of it right away and ordered a replacement after sending a service person to see if he could resolve the problem. The problem was obvious and verified. We are enjoying the dresser now. The two leather recliners that salesperson Daniel sold us arrived without any issues and in acceptable condition. Without a doubt, we will patronize this establishment again because of the excellent follow up service. As for prices, they can never be as low as we want, especially being on an island where most furniture items have to be imported. read more

He helped us furnish many parts of our new home and was straightforward on suggesting certain pieces based on my vision for our new house. We are especially in love with the purchase of our Tanavi modular couch!! We are awaiting the other pieces since many things are on backorder (this is everywhere in Hawaii rn). After the initial email request for help, both came to our place, listened, measured, counted rooms, areas, advised... We came to the store the following day, and in under three hours, all 7 bedrooms, three living areas, two dining areas, lanai, were ordered. Delivered, and set up in less than a week. Overpriced furniture. They used to have almost a total lock on the furniture market and could charge whatever they wanted almost. Nowadays there's more competition but their prices are still high. My cousin priced out a Tommy Bahama dining room set at CS Wo (part of HW) and it was actually slightly more than half their cost to bring it in from the mainland shipping included. Instead of buying a Natuzzi couch from them I bought on the mainland and used a freight forwarder. Saved hundreds. Check out the showroom but realize there are other options to get what you want. read more
