We ordered a Bali wood dining table 1600$ in March. Looks and quality were as pictured except one minor spot in the center. Fast forward to August, less than a year and my table is splitting. This was not from water damage, over use, or placing heavy objects, humidity or weather related. It just started to split at the end and has continued to grow. Contacted warrenty support which responds quickly. This is what they said not under warrenty. Buyer beware here is their response for me to take care of this on my own. For the price and support this is a 1 star would be zero if possible. That said, here are some suggestions you may consider to help manage or improve the condition: Use a wood filler or repair putty to smooth out the split area, followed by a light sanding and touch-up stain. Apply furniture wax or sealant to protect the wood from absorbing excess moisture in the future. Maintain stable room conditions by keeping the furniture away from direct sunlight, heaters, or damp areas to minimize further expansion or contraction. Valyou furniture. The place to get fashionable furnishings that are pet friendly. Sorry to say this isn't what we experienced. The couch was good but when we bought it, Maria, the kind sales staff told us that with the warranty any spills or pet related accidents that caused permanent damage would be covered. That was untrue. We bought the couch in January. We paid $2300. We added the "worry free" extended warranty $300 Also, just to be sure, we added the extra protection with their "Ultra Stain Repellant" for $100. Then we waited. The couch arrived. The dogs loved it! A little to much love happened last week when our Chili Dog had a classic accident. That is when I notice the Ultra Stain Repellant failed. Beautiful and unique designs that were very ergonomic/comfy that we were unable to find at other stores on Oahu (even at the more expensive places). We got 3 accent chairs that were in stock and a coffee table. They were having a sale where every additional piece that you got, received a bigger discount (10-30% off). They also had free shipping at this time. Since they buy furniture from all over the world (Italy, Bali, Mexico, China), I would not recommend placing an order on any out-of-stock items. I love my new feather furniture set! It works so well in my teeny tiny living room and it is so comfy!! As far as delivery... I had to deal with 5 deliveries over the past 2 months. This review is based solely on online ordering and not visiting the physical store. Prepare for a long review. I ordered the feather sectional couch on October 28, 2022 and was given the estimated delivery date as one of the days between November 26th-28th, 2022. Weirdly on my confirmation email, I never was given confirmation number. What baffles me is that the warehouse manager reached out about 1.5 weeks after I ordered to see if I wanted anything else added to the pallet the sectional would be on at a discounted price and free shipping. Unfortunately what I wanted was also out of stock, but this gave me reassurance that maybe it would arrive on the said date. I never was given shipping updates, but 3 days before the "supposed delivery date," I got an email saying it was going to be delayed another 1-2 weeks. Again, no set delivery date. I replied to this email update a week later for a delivery update because it's already halfway of the supposed time they said it would delay. No response, other than an automated email starting with: "We're currently experiencing a high volume of email tickets, so we're taking a bit longer than usual to reply..." I made an account after I ordered the sectional just to see if I could keep tabs on my order cause that's about $1800 I don't want to know nothing about, but when I attempted to log in, my account was no where to be found. That's fine -- I just created a new account. The issue with this was that it made me create it twice and in the end, my order wasn't even to be found cause I still didn't have an order number. I reached out again another week later, asking for an estimated delivery date and my order number, although I got a confirmation email. Their response? Sorry for the late reply due to being understaffed and asked for my order number (surprised but not surprised). A few days after this response, I get an email from a different representative (keep in mind that it's never the same person you're talking to) and they respond with: "Upon checking, we still don't have a delivery date for your order. It will probably take a few more weeks but I can't provide an exact day at the moment. Someone from our team will be reaching out via email or text once we have your order ready for delivery. " Like excuse me?! This is not reassuring AT ALL and I had to jump through too many hoops with too many different people just to get that answer. Valyou claims it's easy to contact them, but I have called over a dozen times and no one picks up. If you get a response, it's just a texts message of them apologizing that they missed your call and asking for your order number. I'm sure they get tons of complaints and just don't want to deal with it, especially with all of these delays. I had to reach out to them via email and messages through their site to get a hold of them. This got extremely frustrating as I've been waiting 2 months with no updates. As they claim "a rep will get in contact with you on your order detail," that now changed to "once we have your delivery ready." I wanted to cancel at this point and to my surprise, they can't process returns and directed me to my bank to dispute the transaction. Seems a little silly how fast they can take your money but when it comes to giving it back, they are very resistant. It's not like I received my couch and they haven't even shipped it out yet... I have read many reviews and others have mentioned that they have waited longer than I have, which doesn't bring me any confidence that they will have my order by the end of December. Also keep in mind, there are barely any negative reviews on their site. Valyou lacks with customer service as they are not ones to be transparent and notify their customers about the delays. They make their customers jump through hoops just to get in contact with them. Having separate threads of emails to communicate for one conversation becomes super confusing as well. My strong recommendation is if you're looking to buy furniture, please do your research. Valyou is not dependable and will not be available to help you with any concerns. They'll keep pushing delivery dates down the road and ask you to dispute it. Please be careful with this as banks will usually only dispute up to 90 days. Don't trust a business that is quick to take your money, but will leave you in the dark and unable to process returns for unfulfilled orders. read more

Ordered Valmes chairs, valolam compact sectional, swedish dining table. They delivered the chairs and sectional, but forgot the table, even though all were scheduled to arrive on Friday 12/2/22. I opened the box for the Valmes chair and its missing the bolts, washers, alen wrench. So now I have a missing table, and 4 chairs that I can't put together. On top of that I can't get a hold of anyone. Update I'm at the physical store, they told me the table that wasn't delivered was out of stock even though it was in stock at the time I ordered it, I have the confirmation email saying it would arrive on 12/2/22 and I spoke to two different representatives who didn't say it was out of stock before I put in my order. They also didn't have the missing tools to put together the chairs. No ETA on when they will restock. From what I'm reading it could be months. What a mess. read more

Do not trust this company. I'll start by saying the furniture is decent for the price. My issue is not with the quality of goods. It's with the lack of integrity of the staff. I was lied to multiple times. I placed the order in December. Months in advance i told them I had all my family coming to stay at the end of April and needed my 2 queen bed frames in time. They strung me along offering discounts to keep my order. Eventually I tried to cancel my order given the delivery date had moved month after month and kept slipping. They told me not to worry - they'd arrive in time for my families visit. I checked in a few days before and eventually someone told me they have never had any clue when these were coming back in stock. They flat out lied the entire time knowing that my family were not going to have beds to sleep in when I could have looked elsewhere if they had just told me. To make things worse, the 5% discounts they offered as a 'make good' were meaningless. The price had gone down over $100 for each of the beds i purchased since i placed the order anyway. I went to Valyou Furniture because my friend needed to buy a sofa ASAP. First off, the place has got some really modern and chic furniture, and the cool thing is they've got most of it in stock, so you don't have to wait for it to be shipped.. But, here's where things got a bit iffy. We were checking out this Feathers sofa, and the sales guy said he could give her a discount. But then his manager said she would not sell it at a discount, because that particular sofa is popular and someone would buy it at full price. My friend really needed a sofa, so she just bought it, but that was pretty lame of them. The day before, I called them and asked if they do discounts for real estate professionals. The person on the phone said that they offer a 10% discount if I present my real estate license. But when I got there, they said I need to fill out an application and get approved. Like, what?! Why didn't they say that on the phone? Honestly, the place felt kinda shady to me. Great if you need something quick and it's right there, but watch out for the sales talk and make sure you get everything straight before you buy anything.
