I was at Kahala Mall the other day. I passed by and all these cute bags they had at the front of the store enticed me to walk in. I have a weak spot for bags. All my friends call me the bag lady, haha. Anyways, I recognizes these bags right away. They're from Eden in Love. They have the cutest bags ever. This is the biggest collection that I've seen. They probably have all the design and sizes. Most places only carry the medium size as it's their most popular. Here they have it in small, medium and large. I couldn't help myself and had to get one. I got the medium Sushi Crew bag $18. Service was ok. The cashier was nice. The sales guy working the floor seemed irritated when I asked him to help me locate the bag. read more

Shopping in Honolulu, Hawaii... I didn't know why my friend wanted to go shopping here. I try to avoid Simply Home (at Kahala Mall) because there are cute things at the front of the store... luring me in... I tell myself I don't NEED more stuff... However... The merchandise in this store is useful. Dish towels, tote bags, shower curtains, hooks, pet supplies, kitchen gadgets, trivets, and charging cords are some of the items in stock. I even saw a bunny toothbrush holder and a panda hand sanitizer... so cute! I will return to get gifts - especially for mainland friends. Some of the designs have Aloha themes like local grinds... such as okazuya, pineapples, and laulau! Service is very friendly and positive! There was a young man who was sincere about wanting to help me find whatever I was looking for! Thank you! Anyway... it turned out that my friend wanted to get me a Bowl Hugger. It's like a potholder that goes around your bowl when you place it in your microwave, so you can protect your hands from the hot bowl when it comes out from the microwave! Simply Home is truly live ups to their service, product and values. I came here to look for certain closet systems called Freedom Rail closet. I had been on the website and only this place had it. I was truly blessed to have the Manager named Lori to help me find items needed and shared positive vibes on it. She made a point that her store is the only one carrying this system. The store had everything needed to make a new closet come to life. I had this system for past 15 years and still going strong and is better than the other brands!! I want to give a shout out of MAHALO to the wonderful people Lori the manager and her crew Pat, braddah Albert, and another wahine(no name)who got me a cart to get my many closet things together. It's just simply fabulous! This formerly Simply Organized location transformed itself to a whole home store for anyone and any type of situation. For either indoor and outdoor you can find that furnishing, storage and decor for that added touch you didn't know you're looking for. It's currently Fall and with the holidays approaching I was searching for something to brighten my work space and was delighted to see so many options. With some crafty plant pots and plant stick decor it was scary cute to see how easy it was to find them along with some Halloween lights even a cute Halloween succulent kit. They also have several local items from Eden in Love which is nice to see. Looking for something for yourself or a gift you'd be surprised what you'll find...Simply Find! Thank you! read more

Simply Home is located in Kahala Mall adjacent to Longs and across from Macy's It's a bright spacious store showcasing plants in the middle! Lots of potted plants that are quite large. They also sell pots and cute plant accessories such as ceramic mushrooms and small animals to add to your garden! I always stop in to the store whenever I'm at Kahala Mall. Very good energy but they need to take care of their plants! Sometimes i see dry plants that need watering or dead yellow leaves that should be removed cause it's not a "good look"! Who would want to buy? That's why i gave them only 4 stars! I even mentioned it to a staff associate and she just dismissed me! The store sells alot of " nifty" kitchen and storage containers. Love the variety and art and colors of the products offered for the home . Lots of affordable plants for the interior and for the lanai. Many island-related items and gifts. Also cute things for kids. Wish we had a store like this close to my home on the mainland! !! So happy to happen upon this store when we were visiting the mall to get my glasses repaired. On Sunday we went to this store to look at the plants. Two female employees ( Asian heavy set female cashier) & JESS targeted my husband & followed him for NO reason!! Apparently they " profiled" him as an alleged thief! Note that he is in his 30s, a respected man who owns 2 businesses!! When we confronted these employees to ask WHY they targeted him they apologized & said that there was a lot of theft lately ! When we insisted to talk to a Manager they said the Managers were in the back & " busy". Then jess claimed that SHE was the Manager!! Their behavior was unacceptable & we felt humiliated & insulted! We'll NEVER step foot in this store again! Beware of being targeted for no reason!!! Rating is a minus 0 for this store!! read more

I really like this store. I really really like this store. I enjoy walking aimlessly around this store just to look at the different items and knick knacks they have and dream of how organized my place will be. But sadly my place is not organized but I do buy the occasional item here. The place is clean, the employees are friendly, and there is plenty parking. Granted it is at a mall, but the parking is rarely packed that one can never find a stall (unless you are driving a big ass vehicle with oversized tires - who does that - then forget it). Do you believe that everything has its own place and if moved or used, that the item(s) should be replaced where it was originally found? Or would you alphabetize your cooking herbs and spices while annotating its expiration date on a spreadsheet? My answer is "Yes" to the previous questions and I'm often teased about being "AR" or having a bit of OCD tendencies. If you've answered "yes" to any any of the questions above, I'd like to recommend that you go to Simply Organized as it is an excellent source for products or gadgets that can help you toward being organized, clean and neat in your household. They have a good selection of functional kitchen, bath, closet and storage solutions which can get you organized and lessen "clutter". The items can match most home décor although tends to be less stylish than those higher-end closet or storage systems. The salespeople are quite generous with their friendliness and seem genuinely interested in helping you find a solution to your organizing needs. I admit to not being a browse and shop kind of person so I've been into to this store a couple of times doing "surgical strike" buys. I was running out of time to find something for the teachers who work so hard with my children when I stumbled on SIMPLY ORGANIZED at Kahala Mall! Not only did I find stuff for the teachers, but I walked out with a whole bunch of stuff for us too! LOCATION: Kahala Mall, next to Long's/CVS, in the old Champs space There's pretty much everything you need to organize your life here. Organize your car, bathroom, office, kitchen, coffee K-cups, laundry, garden, toys, clothes, underwear, jewelry, computer, electronics, cables, extension cords...I could go on and on and on. If you've never gone to the Kapolei location, check this one out! Is it pricey? I think some things were. But there were a bunch of things I've never seen at real stores before (only online and in catalogs) and I needed something TODAY. Mission accomplished! read more

Probably the coolest store to visit especially at the beginning of the year or after you've finished watching Marie kondo on Netflix. There is so much to look at and so many things to help you organize every part of your home. The down sides of the store was Some stuff seemed a bit pricey and I was never greeted or asked if I needed any help. Although I was just browsing, you always expect that kind of service in retail especially if you work it also. Gotta love a store that has everything you need to organize your home and office, and then entices you to buy something completely, crazily, outrageously CUTE. What I mean is, do I really need a trash receptacle that has a panda face? No. But, it's soooo cute. And, I suppose it's kinda fits in the organizing category since I do have to throw away my trash. As I wrestle with the decision, I realize I do not have the coupon I've been advised to use. So, I wander through the aisles marveling at all the storage and organizing knick knacks for the kitchen, pantry, bedroom, bathroom, office, closet, under bed, over head, well, you name it, they have it. And, then some stuff you never realized you needed -- ahem, a device that holds open the Ziplock bag so you can pour something in. Who knew? I wish I had invented that! This place has so much random organization stuff I'm impressed. I always try to look for new innovative organization things to make my life a little more organized and stress free so I like to pop in here once in a while. They're surprisingly not that bad priced. I do however, price check amazon, and their items. I have amazon prime. There are some things in here that are just as affordable as on there. The customer service is excellent always down to help me if I have questions or if I need help with something. The sales staff, though, needs some assistance, as it took two ladies to arrange a display of shopping bags, all the time making a decided and obvious effort to ignore us, the customers, and talk amongst themselves. I got a few good ideas on how to arrange and store the many things I have in my place. Some of their items seem unique only to this store, so it's probably worth a stop. read more

I love coming in and looking at all the plants they have on display and for sale. I've been busy the last couple days and kinda look like a mess, my fault. But I've never felt so judged in this store before! Not even 10 mins of being in the store... They acted like I was there to steal when I was just admiring all their plants and garden stuff.. first they started to stare at me around the store, then the girl asked if I needed help I kindly declined. Then looking at other garden stuff the guy in the store asked if I needed help, kindly declined. Walked over cuz I seen the Fanny packs bent down to look at prices, not even 5 secs of being in the section the girl came over to ask again if I needed help and I turned around to say "no thank you" and the guy was fake fixing something a few feet away staring at me. So I told the person loudly next to me "so shame they think I'm trying to steal" and walked out! Can't even window shop with out being harassed. Those who couldn't get help, just window shop, you'll get their attention. Sad how people are so quick to judge. read more

Simply Organized is a great store and I'm so glad they have a location on the East side (they also have a location in Kapolei, no thank you). Every time I go in this store, it takes soooo much energy to not drop a few bills and get things I didn't even know was missing in my life. This is my candystore. My husband hates when I enter Simply Organized, not because I'm going to spend his (err.. our) hard-earned money... but because even he will find things to buy for our home. Bonus - All employees that I passed, or passed us, asked if we needed help/assistance with anything. We wanted 5 mesh bags that were out of stock, they took our name/number and called us a few days later when the items came in. We picked it up the same day they called. Fantastic customer service! One of my favorite stores back home in Cali was The Container Store. Simply Organized is the closest thing to it in Hawaii. I agree with other reviews that it is pricey, but I've noticed that about everything in Hawaii. So, that aside... I love it here. I attended a FREE seminar at Simply Organized this morning....it was Cynthia Arnold talking about downsizing and decluttering....Definitely worth getting up early and heading into Simply Organized for the seminar.... Lots of good information and suggestions for getting organized and of course you're right there at the store to get what you need....They don't push things on you...just let you know it's available...and boy do they have lots of really cute things...it's just getting better and better. Thank you Simply Organized for the hosting the seminar! Can't wait to attend more (they even gave us a little goodie bag with some great items...and they had a drawing for all who attended. read more

My mom thinks that I need this store to get organized. Truth be told, she's probably right. However, I don't need Simply Organized, I just need a bigger house (spoken by a true hoarder right?). I came here with my husband one day to find some shelves/cabinets to store our Vinylmations (small Disney collectibles). Unfortunately, they had nothing that would help. However, we decided to browse the store in hopes of finding something or just to see what they had. It was hard to find employees that were able to help but I guess when you're just browsing, it's fine. We ended up buying some clear plastic display boxes that were reasonably priced but everything else, I could find at Target for cheaper :(. I try to spread my shopping love around but my cheap side gets the better of me. Their clearance section was priced well but I didn't find anything I needed. I didn't want to add to my clutter by shopping at Simply Organized! Anyway, I suggest shopping at Target first and then coming here if you can't find it there... #12/31 read more

Simply organized will help you get there no matter how small or big your home. For a store dedicated to organization, they are abominably managed. I quickly selected the specific product I had come for, and took my place behind one other customer at the register. In this day and age, he wanted to pay with a check. The cashier apparently did not know how to complete the transaction. After about five minutes of squinting and frantically hitting register keys she tried to call for help. Except she also didn't know how to use the microphone....so she stepped out and yelled. All this time she never acknowledged that I was waiting. Any good customer service representative would at least greet the customer, and apologize for the wait, right? When another employee walked by, I asked if she could help me pay for my one item since I had been standing there for seven minutes. She agreed and started to log into her register, when the other cashier interrupted and demanded help with her SIMPLY DISORGANIZED transaction. I left the item there and walked out. They didn't apologize. I found the same item on Amazon for five dollars less. The entire process of searching and ordering took approximately one quarter of the time I spent in line at this store. read more

A store DEVOTED to selling items to help make your life more organized? This is my utopia. I LOVE organizational items, so this store to me is like Toy R Us is to a kid. They have a wide variety of items that can be used to organize your purse, your closet, your kitchen, etc. The hard part for me is not buying everything in sight! One of my new finds is this product that helps you to uniformly fold your clothes (think those plastic boards that associates use to fold shirts in retail stores). The expression on my face must have been priceless (and I may have said something like, "Oh! They have it! OMG!) because a sales associate looked and smiled at me like she completely understood why I was so excited at my discovery. I also found, a few months ago, their cool food containers. They have one that is meant for salad. Why is it cool? You have a deep, square-ish container to hold your salad ingredients. Then, you place this sub-cover over that; the sub-cover has a small container in the middle that you keep the salad dressing in. You can twist this container and it dispenses the salad dressing and you can shake the container to mix the dressing with the salad. They have a similar container for cereal too (to keep your cereal and milk separate). The sales associates are always welcoming (with a hello or hi as soon as I walk in) and are helpful in finding items in the store (since they have SO much things to look at). The only bad thing about this store is that the items can be rather pricey. read more

I found a toy organizer that was priced at $119 when I found the same exact one for about $30 on amazon. You get 2 stars for having the file organizer I needed. So my fault I didn't print the Kahala mall pass since it didn't say I needed to present the pass at each merchant to get the discount. So the full price I paid consider it a 'donation' to welcome you back from covid. But I will not shop at your store again since transactions are not retroactive. Poor customer service. read more

Looking for excellent customer service? I found it at Simply Organized Kahala Mall. I wanted to purchase a chest of drawers but wasn't sure which one to buy. Raynette, the cashier, was patient, friendly, & informative. Then I thought I could carry it to my car. Nope, too heavy. She helped me load it into a cart and let me borrow it to get it to the car. What a help. I appreciate her assistance that some stores don't have any more. What bothered me a little is every time I went to another row of merchandise, someone asked me if I needed help. That means I was asked that question a lot during the short time I was in the store. Although the intention is good, it got a little bothersome. read more

I have 3 jobs and 2 of them I work from home, so believe me when I say I have A LOT of stuff in my apartment. I love finding new ways to organize everything and in a functional way, too. Yes, the prices here are higher than, say Amazon or Walmart, but what I do is: I walk around the store to take in the great organizational ideas. If there's something I reeeeally want to buy, I scan it with my Amazon app. If it's like, $2 cheaper on Amazon, I'll just buy it in store. If there's a significant difference, then I buy it online. Easy peasy. Browsing at Simply Organized is fun! I didn't know this, but in November 2017 (according to the worker,) they started doing online sales for pick up in store only. They don't currently offer delivery to your home, even if you live in Hawai'i or are willing to pay a S&H fee. I ordered my brother a birthday gift based on a sale I saw in their mailer ad. You have 7 days to pick it up in store and yes, they charge you right away (some places don't charge your card until you pick it up.) I picked up my items 3 days later and I was immediately greeted by a worker. They have an online pick up counter now (turn left after you enter the store). I waited about 5 minutes for my items to be brought out, but I didn't mind the wait since I had multiple items and they were very large. The worker packed everything in bags and stuffed it in a cart, then had another worker walk me out to my car and bring their cart back. I felt like this was a very "above and beyond" thing to do. Loved my whole experience and will shop online or in store again. P.S. I didn't expect this, but I received a free shirt for being 1 of the first 200 people to order online. Haha! read more

This was my first time to actually make a purchase because each time I passed by, I went inside briefly but never had a chance to buy anything. I am glad that the sales lady was very amazing and very helpful. She explained that the item that I was looking for was close enough and she suggested that I check another store but I didn't have to. This was just perfect for me and I do need a bottle and straw cleaner in one. This will keep my straws from getting dirty as well as the bottles I use at home. I am glad that I was able to get what I wanted and hopefully the next time I return to this location, check out some of the as seen on TV items, which they have and also determine what is their favorites. I thank the lady who was really helpful in the selection process for my straw and bottle cleaning so that when I go home and clean my straws, I will be able to use it easily and not too worry about how much dirt is on there. So I recommend that people who want to be near and organized, stop by and see what this store has to offer. You neva know you can find something that is good for you and to your liking. Love to go here and get ideas! They have some pretty cool space saving ways to maximize your space. For me and my family living in a small condo space saving ideas are needed! The people here are really nice and I love the help they offer. The down side to this place is the cost. It is SO expensive I'm not even sure how they stay in business, with Walmart and Home Depot offering the same stuff for a million times cheaper. Conveniently located next to Longs Drugs, Simply Organized has everything you could ever need to organize every aspect of your messy, cluttered life! Not only is this place great for me and my family (great for me because I LOOOVE to organize EVERYTHING and great for my family because the rest of them are chronic hoarders...) but I think I just found my new go-to store for presents! These folks are serious about helping folks organize their lives with a large selection of baskets, dressers, suitcases, shelving, etc. I like to hang out in the front of the store and look at their knick-knacks. Whoever does the selection, does a wonderful job and one can get items like cord wrappers, personal fans, sponges, flashlights, etc for low prices. One item not normally advertised is this is a sister company to City Mill so in a pinch for the more common items like trash cans, you can get them from City Mill if it's closer than Simply Organized. The clerks are always polite and very helpful and full of good ideas. Stop by if you have a chance! read more

DAMN YOU, SIMPLY ORGANIZED! I hate this store. HATE IT! Every time I walk into this store, I find more solutions to storage problems I never knew I had. Here I thought my spices were just fine in the containers they came in, but I was wrong. Why keep them in the manufacturers containers when you can put them in containers with magnets on the bottom so they can stick to your refrigerator or the side of your stove. This time, i went in looking specifically for a container to hold my coffee beans and grinds. Thinking it was a quick trip for an 8 to 15 dollar item. Little did i realize, i was going to spend the next 45 minutes walking up and down each isle, before leaving $100 poorer. Seriously. If you want to tidy up your kitchen, bathroom, closet or garage, Im sure they have something you can use. And if you're not organizing or redecorating, take a lap around the store anyway and see what happens. Damn you, simply organized... i'll be back soon. read more

Theres so many things in this store that would make my home a lot more organized, on the other hand...if I bought those things, I would have no money either! I probably would have given them another star except I was a little irritated at what happened at the register. It isnt really a biggie, but sometimes its those little things that people do that irritate you. So while perusing the store near the register, a lady came in to return an item, the item was large and came in a Simply Organized big blue bag, the big size. I thought nothing of it and continued shopping. After a while of shopping and selecting a few items: a bread container, and a case for my wifes craft things, I went to the register. Keep in mind that my items are the size of 2 loafs of bread. The lady at the cash register rings up my items and puts my items in a BIG bag? Why so big? Not only that....it was super wrinkled and noticeably used. I didnt realize that she was using the same bag that was used from the person that returned the item earlier. Should I make a big deal about it? No. I didnt say anything because I didnt realize it until I had just walked away. I understand that recycling a bag might be better for the Earth but for one, I dont know how sanitary that bag is. For a place that is "simply organized" it was in a sloppy looking bag. My items are small and you give me a bag that can easily fit a microwave! Also, how many other people purchased something before me, and they werent given the bag! Was I being discriminated against? Hmmmm....... Yeah, its a minor issue....but hey lady...next time youre eating at the restaurant I work at, maybe i'll give you silverware that I cleared off a table next to you so you can eat your meal, even if it looks like it wasnt used.
