Upper cabinets. The doors were cut from one piece of wood.

Exotic Woodlines has a showroom within the Pictures Plus store in Kahala Mall. Although I think this space is to showcase their work as I never see a designer there. I contacted a designer who came to my house and helped me plan my kitchen renovation. The designer, Joanna then prepared the shop drawings and we met to select the wood. The cabinets are manufactured in Hawaii and so far, they are beautiful. Joanna is responsive and efficient. Warning: they are not inexpensive as the cabinets cost me the equivalent of a small car. But you can tell that Exotic Woodlines takes pride in their quality and workmanship. The woodwork is top-notch and so are the hardware that they use. I'll post pictures of my kitchen reno when it's completed.

I found myself here at The Compleat Kitchen at Kahala Mall. I'm thankful these businesses exist,…read moreespecially when you need stuff for your home or work. In my situation, it was work related, so I decided to shop here. The Compleat Kitchen has basically everything and everything related to the home and the kitchen. While many businesses and commercial spaces utilizes a kitchen or a kitchen like atmosphere, it helps to have all the things that can make it a functional space. When I decided to save money and cook while at work during the week, I came to The Complete Kitchen to find a microwavable porcelain bowl the first time I was here. I looked around the store for 15 minutes before asking for help. The guy who worked there helped me with the request and it was a definitely a cute bowl that I use for oatmeal in the morning and soups during lunch time at work. The second time around shopping here, I needed a reusable porcelain spoon and washable / reusable chopsticks. After looking around the store, I found them near the cashier station. At least I found what I was looking for without assistance the second time around, which was very nice. They had assorted knives and other gadgets that help with meal preparation, along with pans and other items that would make your life in the kitchen better and easier. I'd definitely love them and it's definitely worth time to check out for sure, if you're interested and in the area. The overall experience here at The Complete Kitchen here at Kahala Mall is very cool. I got what I came in here to do and can happily save money by cooking at work and not have to go out as often. Buying microwavable bowl and reusable utensils helps me with cost cutting in the long run. The prices here are reasonable for anyone and everyone who needs cutlery, pots and pans, or anything else they need to help them in the kitchen. The service here is excellent and they are very knowledgeable in what they are selling. For the most part though, my experience here at The Complete Kitchen is great. I got what I was looking for and the prices are great. I didn't take long to find what I was looking for and the shop itself was fairly large for its size. It was cool that this shop was close to home. Definitely will return to this store if I need a knife or to replace something previously purchased. It is cool to have this store locally when you need a piece of cutlery or something for your kitchen. The Compleat Kitchen is located inside Kahala Mall. It's nearby Center Stage and Starbucks on the Whole Foods side of the mall. The physical address is 4211 Waialae Avenue, 96816. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. I don't know if they have a minimum purchase for credit cards, but its nice to ask them if they do. As far as parking goes, they have a sizable parking option for anyone and everyone to use. Best bet would be to find parking early enough and walk to the store. There is rooftop parking too, and you just take the escalators down to the ground floor. Just be warn that your car can get warm or hot after returning especially during the summer months. If you are like me, there a bunch of bus routes that services the Kahala area, 1, 1L, 2, 2L, 7, 14, 23, and 234. Choose the right one or connection that works for you. And of course, if you love Uber or Lyft, there's that option too as well. No matter how you get here, if you need supplies for your kitchen or just something else that you need for cooking, consider The Compleat Kitchen at Kahala mall for your shopping needs. They have the most complete selection anywhere on the island. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

I looked at the trendy beverage cups and they were anywhere from $30 - $45 each. Ring up was fast as they had two cashiers on both sides of the counter. You can purchase plastic bags for 50 cents or cloth ones for 99 cents.

Instantly, I heard back from Keith to schedule a home visit. In the first week of January, Keith came by to do a look through. He was very kind and professional. Keith emailed my estimate within several days. Our bathroom remodel was scheduled to take 14 days, but it was completed within 9 days, which was good for our family considering we only have one bathroom. From initial contact throughout the project Jeff, HHR Supervisor, kept open communication with me every day. He kept me afloat on what they found, what needed to be done, what my options were. Jeff and his team were very detailed and the level of work they did was beyond superb. I'd like to send my all my aloha and much mahalo to Keith, Jeff and their Hawaii Home Remodel crew for their expertise and hard work over the past 9 days. You brought our outdated bathroom up to 2026. My COASTAL MODERN bathroom dreams have come true! P.S. so, when's our next project??!?! : ) HIGHLY RECOMMEND Liz Martin & Family

However since that visit, the experience has been disappointing. Despite multiple follow up messages and calls, we have not received the promised quote or ANY response at all. While I understand contractors may be busy, a simple update or message stating they couldn't take the job would be preferred over being ghosted. I was hoping to work with a licensed professional, but the lack of basic communication makes it difficult to recommend their services. I hope they can improve their follow up process for future customers.

They probably have all the design and sizes. Most places only carry the medium size as it's their most popular. Here they have it in small, medium and large. I couldn't help myself and had to get one. I got the medium Sushi Crew bag $18. Service was ok. The cashier was nice. The sales guy working the floor seemed irritated when I asked him to help me locate the bag.

I try to avoid Simply Home (at Kahala Mall) because there are cute things at the front of the store... luring me in... I tell myself I don't NEED more stuff... However... The merchandise in this store is useful. Dish towels, tote bags, shower curtains, hooks, pet supplies, kitchen gadgets, trivets, and charging cords are some of the items in stock. I even saw a bunny toothbrush holder and a panda hand sanitizer... so cute! I will return to get gifts - especially for mainland friends. Some of the designs have Aloha themes like local grinds... such as okazuya, pineapples, and laulau! Service is very friendly and positive! There was a young man who was sincere about wanting to help me find whatever I was looking for! Thank you! Anyway... it turned out that my friend wanted to get me a Bowl Hugger. It's like a potholder that goes around your bowl when you place it in your microwave, so you can protect your hands from the hot bowl when it comes out from the microwave! Clever, thoughtful gift, right?

After we signed with them, we did a walk through of our condo, they were very detailed in asking questions to understand what we wanted and were super helpful and patient with our many questions lol. They got rid of our all our popcorn ceiling, carpet, installed vinyl plank for our entire condo, as well as change out our bathroom vanities & mirrors, and made shelves for our bathrooms. Everything was really meticulously done even down to the quarter rounds that line the edges of our flooring. Mr. He and his partner did most of the work, he was very communicative, professional and even did many little extra things for us around the house that my husband thought of later like installing shower/tower rods so everything matched, at a very reasonable price, he even painted our door for free! Todd Branson specializes in premium countertops, so it didn't seem like he could come down to our budget. But he just happens to have some single slabs left over from larger projects. We came to an agreement very quickly and his account manager, Michelle, was very easy to work with. Todd came to our home to personally to take measurements for cutting the slab. Todd arrived as expected right on time. He set up some very sensitive laser equipment to perform the task. He listened to our design preferences and made us aware of options such as increasing the edge height to hide the sub-countertop. Todd's measurements must have been very good because the installation only took a couple of hours. He got as much stone out of that slab as humanly possible and apologized for not having enough to make one of the seams disappear. It is the most beautiful countertop we have ever seen. And my wife and I are very house-y.
