Naka's Marble & Surface is a 5***** company. I worked with Chay. She answered my numerous calls/questions and answered all my calls with courtesy. I need to mention I had surgery and was unable to go to the showroom, so everything was done thru phone calls. This is my 3rd installation with Nakas. The other bathrooms were installed in 2014. Marble walls are still beautiful and have no issues. My project was a bathtub to shower conversion. Once I had my contractor (Inline Construction) the project was effortless on my part. Naka's Marble worked with Inline Construction to schedule measurements and installation. Workers came to install the shower walls. It was a bit tight to get the big marble slab upstairs, so they had to cut the marble and put a cover. Workers ensured that areas were covered and 100% cleanup. I had an old bathtub that was rusted through so we decided to convert it to a shower. We wanted a solid surface type to make cleaning easier and not have any grout lines from tiles. We also wanted a new countertop for our bathroom vanity. Our contractor said Naka's is good for solid surface and we are super happy we went with them! They have a showroom and several different patterns and brands of solid surface. We chose three patterns we liked and they were able to immediately tell us what was on island and available since we wanted to start the job very soon. Our contractor prepped the alcove for the shower and Naka's came to the house and in a day they had everything installed. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up everything. The install looks fantastic (photos will show unfinished/unpainted walls behind the shower walls but that's our contractor who hasn't finished yet :) ) We would use Nakas again and highly recommend them! We decided to redo our bathroom stall after 20 years of use. Naka's did ours originally and chose marble for the stall at that time. It's fairly in good condition, but I wanted another solid surface that was much easier to maintained especially since we are much older now. Plus, the marble showed more grout space which tends to show mildew buildup. I was told that corian is a much easier solid surface to clean compared to the marble that I originally had. I am glad to say we made the decision to go with the corian. The end result looks so beautiful. The color we chose is sandstorm. As you can see the seams shows no white grout. The contractor said they used an anti-bacteria grout compound that is clear and not as noticeable. We highly recommend Naka's to do your bathroom. Take my word, we dealt with them twice and never had any problems with their work. read more

After reading reviews about Naka's and visiting their showroom, I decided to give them my business for a set of cultured marble tub walls and one corner caddy. The showroom had all of their products on display and Tracie, the office manager, even gave me a small piece of the cultured marble to take as a swatch. The workers were very prompt for the measurements and installation. The first set of wall panels that were installed were really odd looking (see pictures). The workmanship was really nice (caulked well, clean panels, etc). I couldn't get over the very patterned look of the cultured marble so I decided to contact Tracie again. Per Naka, the owner, they were going to remove the panels and reinstall them at no charge. I was thrilled that they were going to right their wrong. Tracie had mentioned that like any form of art, all wall panels come out differently depending on which employee pours and designs the panel. I ensure you that none of the showroom panels had patterned squiggles. Upon removing the first set of wall panels, the paint in my bathroom was peeled and the finish on my tub was sliced into. Naka's paid for a painter to touch up the paint on my ceiling that was peeled as well as touching up the paint on the bathroom walls that was scuffed. They also paid for a tub refinisher. They then reinstalled wall panels that looked like I was expecting the first time. However, the workmanship this time around was poor. The caulk, after nearly a week, was crumbling. I wasn't even using the shower so it's not like there was added moisture that didn't allow the silicone to set properly. They agreed to come back and recaulk it and in the process, they damaged my tub a second time!! This whole process from beginning to end took nearly four months. I lost out on collecting rent for that long and all Naka's did was give me a $85 discount. I'm still waiting on getting the tub refinished for a second time. Please consider looking elsewhere if you're planning to redo your bathroom. The end product was nice, but the constant cycle of poor workmanship was an unnecessary headache. read more

Naka"s Marble is that place with the right attitude of service, professional knowledge and decent prices. We visited Naka"s many times before selecting our shower walls, pan, and counter top. Tracie who runs the office helped us understand the process of selecting the material, fabrication, and the installation. They had a lot of sample pieces from many solid surface companies they work with. It was really hard making these selections. The small samples will not always give you the larger perspective especially when there are patterns in the material. Speaking to her and Arthur really helped. Arthur explained how it is fabricated and how to maintain the surface. He is the head fabricator/supervisor who has 30+ years working with counter tops and showers. We went with corian for our shower and counter tops. Paki and Gavin were our installers. These two individuals worked hard and fast. They did a great job joining the corian in our shower blending the corners and joins. They installed the counter top under an half hour. These young guys were pleasant to work with. Corian is an expensive material. Maintaining it is a lot easier and can be always brought back to it's new condition according to research. My wife is especially happy because of this. Our old shower and counter top was made our of three inch ceramic tiles and grout and cleaning it well...... We appreciate Naka's Marble for their professionalism, customer service and business philosophy. read more

After going to their showroom to look at options, we decided to go with an acrylic shower pan and cultured marble walls. Naka's did a superb job in our kitchen and bathrooms. They have different crews who install corian for kitchen and another crew that installs cultured marble in the bathrooms. Every person in the company we had contact with were very professional and courteous, from the installers to the owner. After our renovtion was done we noticed some scratches on the counters (most likely from tools of other workers). We called Naka's to see what could be done. Tammy, the owner herself, took my call and actually stopped by our house to check it out. Within a week, another crew came by to iron things out. This is a very classy professional company that is managed very well. Their work is excellent and I got the feeling that they enjoy working there and enjoy what they do. Naka's fabricated some shower stalls for me in 2002 to take off island... and they still look absolutely brand new in 2020! They have had over 18 years of very hard use and red dirt, and still look gorgeous. We will be purchasing more from Naka's this week for more off island projects. I was very disappointed with the quality of their work. I ordered two bathroom vanity counter tops and a simple 24 inch flat piece. The length of the counters were a little short of the submitted dimensions but I was able to compensate for this, although it was not ideal. One sink had a major flaw on the underneath side. A large chunk of the sink's backside was missing. It was about two inches wide and 4 to 5 inches long. This made the surface of the sink paper thin and very flexible. There was no way that this glaring flaw could have been missed by them. I was able to to fill in the missing space by using an epoxy resin which gave it strength, and you cannot tell there was a problem. This counter was also slightly warped, so I had to use wood filler to close the gaps between the counter and the base unit. The 24 inch flat piece was warped, with a high point down the middle. It cannot be made level and round items on it roll off to either side from the middle high point. What is so hard in making a simple piece that is flat and level? Due to circumstances, I had to use what was given to me in order to finish the renovation before my wife returned from a trip abroad. Fortunately, I was able to compensate for the poor quality of the counters. I wrote a letter similar to this review to Naka's but never heard from them. I have another bathroom to remodel as well as some kitchen work. I won't be doing business with Naka's Marble again. read more

I just had both of my bathrooms done and they are beautiful! Naka's came highly recommened by two friends when I told them I planned to renovate my bathroom. They have a great showroom and spent the time to help me look at stones, colors, different kinds of sink shapes, etc. They gave me ample time to schedule and really worked around that. I put in a new tub with one bathroom. They put up the shower walls and did my counter and sink. Beautiful! In the second bathroom, I decided to do a walk-in shower. Oh my God, I love it! Their workers are friendly and really go above and beyond. One of them even came after hours because they had to double check a measurement.
