I visited about 6 different tile/marble/stone locations for slabs for my kitchen & bath(s) reno, and finally found the perfect marble slab here. I bought 3 marble slabs (enough for kitchen counter, peninsula & 2 vanities), glass subway backsplash tiles & gray faux wood floor planks from Tile Warehouse. They have a beautiful, large selection & very easy to work with. Ramsey is the best & super helpful. Only drawback is that they're closed on Saturdays, so you'll have to fit them in your lunch hour or workday. read more

My wandering and lost countenance (I have no construction experience and was the only small Asian chick among muscly contractors in the showroom) prompted Darby to help me immediately. The showroom manager(lofty title) I believe his name is Ramses, threw a total tantrum over me(a customer) wearing a bandana instead of the "allowed" kind of preferred facial garb. Saying I "have to" use their designated mask or leave(I was in the middle of a transaction). Then proceeded to use me as example to why he is superior to all "his employees". I do know the owner and he would never accept the level of rudeness over this minor detail. It's not that I have a problem with masks because I was wearing one, aren't we all just trying to "do our part". It's the way he talked down to me and belittled everyone in "how showroom" that was super awkward and embarrassing for everyone present. Gonna have to work on your customer service skills Ramses. I think you take your job as a supplier to elite contractors a little a it too seriously... Plus if it was a year ago, I would completely understand but people are really sick of this time warp over masks, especially with vaccines out to keep you all safe so the level of seriousness he corrected me with on top of all the false science floating around was uncalled for and enough to turn my stomach. My wife and I visited the showroom with our contractor. He recommended the place, along with several others. What I like was that my contractor, knowing staff and materials, made it so much easier in looking at the different choices that they had to offer. Fortunately, we were well prepared in that along with our contractor, we had an assortment of sample from previous visits with other businesses of the color of the cabinets, shower floor, counter material, bathroom floor that with talking with the experienced sales representative, contractor, wife, that we it wasn't just working with a blank canvas, but we had definitive colors, patterns that it was easier to focus in on how our master bath renovation would look like, placing the master show floor to the master bath floor outside of the shower, with the color of the cabinets and master bath counter type would look like when matched with the walls of the master shower. We've been working for a number of months, looking at the materials on our own, talking with several different establishments, at the materials. It helps that we've looked at 1/2 dozen showrooms, sales but having the experienced contractor of ours plus time to soak in the differences of the materials in the bathroom, asking the questions of maintenance, problems, costs, sizing of the materials, you get a better understanding that renovating a existing room, working with an experienced trustable contractor and sales representatives that provide information on the size of the material, thickness whether it's viable, as well as seeing the products in different light and usage that compensates for the delays. We've finally narrowed down the elements of materials for the shower walls, shower floor, drains, master bath floor, cabinet color, design, sinks, dimensions of the shower itself, window, venting, entrance, master linen closet. Knowing the flooring material design, varies in terms of shading and appearance of texture livens up the view of the bath. We even ended up having the wall of shower being a showpiece where it's not common. In the long run, my wife will be happy that the contractor and the Tile Warehouse representative came up with something that pleases my wife, that the bland white master bath will be a room of color, texture, design and functional utility of her choice and selection. Renovation is not a quick and easy process, but it helps that dealing with experts on the materials, design, color helps to make decisions not less quicker but informed and wiser. We just purchased 3 slabs of granite from Tile Warehouse in Kona. They also have a beautiful selection of tile and the prices are not bad either. In fact, I really wish we had gone there before going back and forth between Home Depot and Lowes and their poor selection of tile and flooring. Kathy came right up to us when we walked in the door. She was very knowledgeable and happy to help. I highly recommend this place. I do not understand the bad reviews. read more

Hands-down the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. Everything was going well. Picked out a granite slab that was on its way to Kona. Started making plans to be there as soon as the slabs arrived to get the best selection. Then even before the slabs arrived, my contractor received a call that all of the slabs had been sold out from under us, save one, and we wouldn't get to choose the one slab -- take what they offered or leave it. And you can guess just how crappy of a slab they offered me, compared with the one in the picture when they made the sale. They made up some story -- actually several stories -- about how it was not their fault. None of those stories stood up to scrutiny. Best I could infer through the lies was that some big developer wanted them all and I was going to get whatever slab they didn't want. Obviously I would never do business with these people again. I wouldn't even use a contractor who recommended using these people again. Use them at your own risk, but under no circumstances should you put yourself in a position where you have to trust them to honor their commitment to you. read more

Great Customer service at this place. I'm having a shower installed in my home and my contractor Tom from BHK recommended this place to pick out my tile. Great choice. Darby our sales associate helped me pick out the perfect tile just my style. So accommodating that I needed more of the same tile a week later that I ordered and paid for it over the phone and had my contractor pick it up and my receipt emailed to me. Two major issues with our tile order - late delivery and incorrect trim tiles. Ordered about 500 SF of 1'x2' porcelain tile and 50 pieces of 12" pencil trim tile. Total about $4,000. 1'x2' tile available from their Kona location. Orders were placed in February. Staff person, Bob Ono, said they make regular transfers between Kona and Honolulu. Our contractor attempted pick up 4/30/20, but it was still in Kona. Bob did not provide a specific explanation for the delay other than COVID-19 slowdown and regular transfers from Kona were suspended. I noted that they had over a month before any virus shutdowns occurred. (Honolulu order issued 3/22/20 and State on 3/25/20.) He said he has to consult with "upper management" before shipping and proposed a substitute 18x36 tile, which costs more but would be at no additional cost! He complained that the transfer costs them money and will no longer be doing this. (Not my problem.) We got the tile 5/11/20 delaying work 2 weeks. Re the pencil trim tile, it has a elongated "D" shaped cross-section, but it's unfinished except for the half-round portion at the top of the tile. The sample did not show this, and we weren't made aware of this. The trim caps the edge of the wall tile so one side of the trim tile is always exposed. They refused to take it back, so we're stuck with about $1,000 worth of this tile and need to buy a replacement. Tile Warehouse has a return policy up to 30 days after purchase. I guess it doesn't apply to the date of delivery when you finally get to see what you bought. read more

So Darby at Tile Warehouse is really friendly and helpful. When we started our home renovation process, we knew next to nothing about choosing tile. Darby guided us through how to find good choices for our various projects. We ended up purchasing a beautiful variegated green glass tile for our kitchen backsplash and some nice 1' x 2' gray porcelain tiles for our bathroom tub-to-shower conversion. And as another reviewer pointed out, they have the BEST selection of quartz countertop surface choices on the island. You just have to look/plan EARLY so you can order what you want. We didn't get quartz but were blown away how much more selection they have than anyone else. read more

The tile selection is great and the manager seems to care about the customer satisfaction, which I appreciate. My only complaint is that I ordered a gray grout, but they gave my tile guys mushroom tan colored grout. Upon completion they realized the wrong color of grout was given to them. Fortunately, the patio still looks nice. I highly recommend checking your grout color before installation because you can't be certain you received what you paid for. read more

Lowes and Home Depot had none, and Daltile didn't have anything larger than a 12 x 12 in stock. So I called Darby at Tile Warehouse who said they had a large selection. Boy was he right! When I went down to the store, Darby walked me through the different tiles and price points, and made suggestions based on what I was going to use it for. Simply the best customer service from a salesman with A LOT of product knowledge that I have experienced in a long time. Totally works with you in finding the "perfect" tile, marble, granite, porcelain, 3D tile, glass tile, or whatever your renovation needs! They also sell all the supplies like grout, epoxy grout, and edging. They have a list of contractors that you can hire to install. If they don't have stock in their warehouse they can ship in from neighbor Island location or special order for you! Special orders do take a few weeks as we live on an island and they need to be shipped in. Their show room is air-conditioned so you can walk around comfortably and look at everything. They also have marble and granite slabs out in the back warehouse and in front of the store. All of their staff are super helpful and knowledgeable! If you go there and you don't get help it's not because they're rude it's because they're busy:) They do get busy so make sure you just plan a little extra time to browse, order, etc. Helpful hint: in the early mornings are busy because all the contractors are picking up their supplies for the days work. So I would go a little later in the morning. Prices are comparable. Parking right in front of the store. Central location near the airport area. read more

I've been to this place 3 times. The first 2, I was seen by multiple workers, but not even acknowledged. Not even greeted. The first time a gentleman was with someone and saw us looking and spending time, after his customer left he went back to his desk and sat down. Never spoke to us. The second time I looked directly at a worker who was standing near the door and not speaking to anyone, made eye contact and he looked away. NOTHING! I came in cash in hand and they couldn't have cared less. The 3rd time must've been a charm because I walked back directly to a guy sitting at a desk and "announced" that I needed help. He reluctantly helped me, but basically said what they have is what they have, they never have any type or discount or sale, regardless of how much buy. I told him I would prefer to buy local and give them my business, but that I had 3 quotes for the same flooring from the mainland, even with 5-6k in shipping costs theirs is cheaper than this place. He said "oh, well I guess you'll have to go with them then". There's no reason I would go back here. read more
