He also made new custom doors and drawers for our bathroom vanities that fit perfectly and made the vanities look new. Kenny was very easy to work with and he provided good guidance and advice on the design for our new kitchen cabinets. He used high quality materials for all the cabinets, door hinges, and soft closing drawer slides. Everything is solid, all drawers and doors operate smoothly and these cabinets look good and will last a long time. Kenny did a real professional job installing the cabinets, making sure the cabinets, doors and drawers were all properly aligned and working perfectly. There are very few individuals I would personally vouch for, and I don't know Kenny (owner & operator) personally, but I would totally drop his name to anyone that is looking for help with their cabinets!!!!! 5 exclamation points y'all! Lol To invite you into my 5 STAR experience, here's a list of reasons why I believe you should hire Bert's Cabinet for the job AND/OR refer your friends and family: - Kenny was prompt to respond to the Yelp Project request that 3 other vendors completely ignored - Kenny is so down to earth! He took the time to listen to my concerns and we discussed the best route to take. The home we just purchased had cabinets that were put in all kapakahi - boxes, doors, and knobs! Kenny was confident that he could solve our kitchen problems :) - Kenny showed up ON TIME to each appt and remained considerate of us, considerate of our home, considerate of my neighbors, accurate in measurements, respectful of our budget, AND clear in setting expectations from start to finish! On install day, we got an exclusive visitation from Kenny's assistant - THE Bert himself, Kenny's dad! Lol Kenny & Bert worked great together. They accepted one another's input and got the job done fast. For our whole kitchen, with setup to protect our floors and countertops, installing the custom made drawers, refaced cabinet doors and hinges, placement and install of our provided handles in 3 different sizes, clean up, chatting thru the celebration of our brand new cabinets, and collection of payment - Kenny & Bert completed the job in less than 5 hrs! I could go on and on with the many things I appreciated about this company and their work. It's good to see small businesses with such high quality and standards for themselves, and who commit to doing solid work. With our new home purchase and renovations gone south, not to mention the many issues we faced right after purchasing this property, Kenny of Bert's Cabinet was a breath of fresh air!! Hire him!!

My husband and I had a great experience working with Satoshi and Marcia and we would recommend them…read morewithout hesitation to anyone wanting a piece of custom furniture. They built a monkeypod wood bar counter for our condo which turned out beautifully and has received many compliments. From our first phone call to the final delivery, Satoshi and Marcia were nothing but gracious and professional. I had been searching online for countertop options besides the usual granite and quartz, and came across a monkeypod wood counter on their blog (which they did for a cafe in Waikiki). I didn't think I could afford custom furniture, but called anyway and to my surprise, their quote based on my idea and rough dimensions was quite reasonable! So we started the design process which involved them visiting our condo a couple times to take measurements and show us wood samples. We met another time to see the actual monkeypod slab they purchased (which is another thing I like about the piece, that the wood is local from Oahu) to make sure it was in line with what we envisioned (the color, shape/edge, etc.). I appreciated their attention to detail and good communication with us throughout the entire process. That even though we were probably one of their smaller jobs, they valued our preferences and took time to make sure we were on the same page. They worked with my contractor to discuss installation of the piece, and were very careful about putting grooves in the right places so that the supporting brackets would be hidden. For a small fee, Satoshi and Marcia delivered the piece when it was completed, and my contractor did the installation. Everything went smoothly and relatively quickly. Satoshi was able to fit my piece into his schedule within a few weeks of my initial phone call. I feel very fortunate that everything worked out and now I have a gorgeous custom piece in my home. What started as a google search ended up being one of the best parts of our kitchen/living room. Thank you, Satoshi and Marcia!!
