He also installed carpet in an additional bedroom and even recommended an excellent carpet for us to purchase. Joe is incredibly professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of flooring installation. He removed our existing carpet, laminate, and tile, leveled our floors (which had numerous dips), and even uncovered three layers of tile downstairs before installing the new flooring. Despite the tremendous amount of work involved, he took the time to really prep the floors and completed the entire project by himself. His work ethic, attention to detail, and craftsmanship were truly impressive. I'm exhausted just thinking of all the work he did! Joe was always kind, respectful, and kept us updated throughout the entire process so we always knew what to expect. On top of all that, his pricing was very fair and offered outstanding value for the quality of work he delivered. He even helped us to get the best prices on our flooring. He easily stood out from other contractors we met with because of his ability to listen to our needs and provide detailed advisement, project planning and expectations. Throughout the renovation Kai was responsive and provided excellent communication, we had a clear understanding about roles and responsibilities along with delivery dates to maintain the project timeline. Kai and his team also finished the project a week ahead of schedule and kept the same team on the project which is unheard of. Out of the other 3 renovation projects I had in the past, they always finished a few weeks or a month behind schedule and the team constantly changed leading to delays and consistency issues. The end product was a quality renovation and a stunning transformation of our kitchen. We would absolutely recommend and happily do business with Kai and AOK Cabinets & Stone again based off the pleasant experience we had.

From the first meeting (with the delightful and knowledgeable Michelle), through the quote process, to installation, it was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. Late in the engagement, we discovered a significant error (my mistake), and they sprung into action to rectify it and did so in the most professional and fair way possible. We had a massive 8'x8' island that required the joining of two slabs. Their work was so flawless that we play a game with guests, asking them to find the seam -- it takes quite an effort. Finally, we're so pleased that we just hired them for our second project!

Todd Branson specializes in premium countertops, so it didn't seem like he could come down to our budget. But he just happens to have some single slabs left over from larger projects. We came to an agreement very quickly and his account manager, Michelle, was very easy to work with. Todd came to our home to personally to take measurements for cutting the slab. Todd arrived as expected right on time. He set up some very sensitive laser equipment to perform the task. He listened to our design preferences and made us aware of options such as increasing the edge height to hide the sub-countertop. Todd's measurements must have been very good because the installation only took a couple of hours. He got as much stone out of that slab as humanly possible and apologized for not having enough to make one of the seams disappear. It is the most beautiful countertop we have ever seen. And my wife and I are very house-y.

Initial contact with Jack was great. We called and he came a few days later to measure our rooms and to prepare an estimate. First time meeting him, we knew this would be the person we would like to have to do our flooring. He mentioned that he had a backlog, but we were in no rush for this job, so we said we would wait until he could fit us into his schedule. During this time, we ordered the flooring and all the materials needed (baseboards, T-molding, etc.). Pami, did an awesome job in breaking down the estimate and the square footage for us so we knew how much flooring to purchase. She was always able to respond to my emails that very same day. Usually within a few minutes. And we appreciate just how friendly and responsive she is! The quote was broken down nicely so you know just what you're paying for, and we appreciated that. There was no hidden fees or anything sneaky. The pricing is very reasonable for the amount of work that Jack does for the project. Jack's quality of work is outstanding. He's very meticulous and has pride in his work. His attention to detail is also excellent. The job site is very clean. He protects items and every day after leaving, cleans up. JDS Flooring is highly recommended for your flooring project. We found Jack based on all these highly praised reviews. Every single 5-star he receives is well worth it. Jack is a really cool guy to talk to about practically everything. There's a reason why Jack is in high demand. His personality, attention to detail and the quality of work along with a very reasonable price are all the reasons why. Also, don't forget Pami, who is also awesome with providing quotes, clarification and if there are any questions, will consult with Jack and get back to you. Thank you Jack and Pami!
