Joe installed over 2,000 square feet of luxury vinyl flooring throughout our home, including five bedrooms, upstairs and downstairs living areas, two kitchens, two hallways, and the stairs. He also installed carpet in an additional bedroom and even recommended an excellent carpet for us to purchase. Joe is incredibly professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of flooring installation. He removed our existing carpet, laminate, and tile, leveled our floors (which had numerous dips), and even uncovered three layers of tile downstairs before installing the new flooring. Despite the tremendous amount of work involved, he took the time to really prep the floors and completed the entire project by himself. His work ethic, attention to detail, and craftsmanship were truly impressive. I'm exhausted just thinking of all the work he did! Joe was always kind, respectful, and kept us updated throughout the entire process so we always knew what to expect. On top of all that, his pricing was very fair and offered outstanding value for the quality of work he delivered. He even helped us to get the best prices on our flooring. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and delivers exceptional results with Aloha, I highly recommend Joe! We couldn't be happier with our new floors! Thanks again Joe! read more

If you're reading this, take it as a sign to hire Joe!!! It was smooth as butter working with Joe. We chose him because off the bat he was responsive, communicative, and transparent. He also took time to educate us on flooring types and the process. Once we scheduled with him, he was clear about his schedule. He had another client before us who hadn't yet cleared the stuff out of their rooms or purchased flooring by the time Joe was ready to start on their floors (please don't be that person -- be ready to go BEFORE Joe's start day!!!). We were concerned about delay because we were on a strict timeline with vendors coming to our house. Joe made it work and was able to get into our house and get our floors done on time. He did a BEAUTIFUL job with our floors. They look the same if not better than the downstairs floors that DR Horton put in. He also cleaned up SO nicely. There was nothing for us to do besides enjoy our floors after he left. He also has the best price out there. And he's just a nice guy who is committed to building a good life for his family. Go with Joe!!! read more

Joe is really professional, responsive, we couldn't be more pleased with the result. We reached out to Joe from yelp a few weeks ago, and Joe was the first one replying us and giving us a quote. After that, Joe answered every questions we had and provided recommendations in flooring selection, condo requirement request etc. The quality of the work is outstanding ( removing old carpet, filling dips, install underlayment and vinyls), ensuring every aspect of the flooring was done perfection. And it was completed on time and within the budget. I highly recommend Joe. It's hard to find a contractor who combines skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service so seamlessly read more

We had a lanai enclosed a few years ago (during COVID) and the floor was never fully leveled properly. Called Joe and he came the next day to review our area and give us a quote to pull back, level and replace our flooring/trim. I must say that Joe is one of the most responsive, honest and dedicated trades people I have worked with over my many years. He was up front about their full schedule for the next 2 months but he was able to squeeze us in and came himself to do ours two days after quoting - before they got into their big jobs. The work is of excellent quality, he is very meticulous and cleans up well after. My wife and I respect that his family is a priority - he had to come back two days after pouring the leveling because the day after he had a family event to attend. He communicates all aspects of the job up front and his pricing is very fair for the quality of work you will receive. Joe is our "go to " Flooring guy from now on. Please support this local business! Aloha Wayne read more

Joe does awesome work and takes a lot of pride in what he does. He removed and installed both carpet and vinyl- for quite some time we wanted to replace our flooring especially on the stairs and it was challenging finding someone who was reliable. Once we started communicating with Joe - he was on top of it. He pays close attention to details and finds a way and means to make it happen within your budget. He does a lot of prep work to clean the flooring before installing the new material. Truly appreciative and grateful for his work! Such a blessing. He is a great family man who works hard for his keiki and is an all around awesome kane who you can count on! JOE: Aloha and thanks for the care and attention and quality installation. We are happy with our carpet and vinyl flooring, it looks great. 10/10 will recommend to any of our friends looking for flooring. We put a review on yelp since people need to know that Joe's flooring is the best! All the best to you and your ohana. Mahalo nui loa, Joe. Wishing you and the ohana blue skies and much aloha. We were looking for someone to do our flooring after failed attempts at bookings with a few other guys. I went to Yelp and saw that Joe's Flooring had good reviews so I reached out for a quote via Yep. Quote: Joe was really responsive after my request for a quote and was able to come by soon after. He had gotten busy with a few other jobs but we were able to find a time that worked for him to come by our house and to look at the space and hear us out about the scope of work that we wanted done. He was transparent about having other projects happening so I knew he was busy and let him know we weren't in a rush about getting a quote or getting the work done so he could be chill about it. I reached out a few days later to check on the quote and the price he gave was a lot more affordable than we were afraid of, so we were happy to book Joe. Scope of work: He let us know exactly what was needed and gave us a bunch of references at different locations and price points so that we could do our research and source our preferred material, even offering to meet at any showrooms if we wanted. I ended up knowing at going out myself but the offer was nice. Once I finally got all the stuff we needed, I contacted Joe to confirm a date for the project. It wasn't urgent but I asked for as soon as possible and he was able to squeeze me in between a few other projects super quickly which was awesome. He was flexible in coming on the weekend which was perfect for my situation as well. The job was kind of extensive and needed demo, prep and installation, so he scheduled our project to be completed over 4 days. Quality of work: As for the quality of his work, Joe was amazing. He must be a perfectionist because he was so thorough and meticulous. He didn't cut any corners (Figuratively of course. He cut a ton of corner pieces though). His work is high quality, you can tell he is very experienced. Definitely prioritizes doing it right. He also fixed all the mess ups made by the last person who installed our flooring (me ). Customer Service: Joe is very accommodating and flexible. Whatever we asked for, he did. But he also gave us credible suggestions and education to help inform our decisions. Just know that if you don't get an immediate response from him, it's because he's working. Joe was quiet, respectful, and thoughtful of our home. We were living at home with our kids during the duration of the project and he did his best to make sure we were comfortable. My son actually said he wants to be "a flooring guy just like Joe" when he grows up . The great thing about working with small businesses like Joe is that the experience isn't just transactional, but a relationship between client and service provider. Now we gotta save up again so Joe can do more projects for us haha. Wish I had remembered to take more pics. Thanks Joe! read more

Joe is personable, reasonably priced, answers his phone, answers any questions you have before the installation, makes recommendations, he is knowledgable and experienced. He really cares about the customer, take pride in his work, is meticulous, works until the job is completed and is dependable, trustworthy, a hard worker, and the job was completed on time. If there were 10 star rating he would get 10 stars. Joe picked up all the materials. removed the old tile in some areas and prepped the floor to make it flat, and installed vinyl lifeproof floating planks that I purchased up at Home Depot for a 3 bedroom 1 .5 bath house. He uninstalled the toilet and assembled new toilets and installed them. He went the extra mile. He is a quality guy. I will tell all my friends and relatives who need to have their flooring done to call him. If I need flooring in the future, I will call him. The floor looks so beautiful now in a large part thanks to him. Thank you Joe. read more

Joe's Flooring was referred and came highly recommended by one of our salon clients. We were looking forward to working with Joe, given what we heard. And after all was said and done, we are so glad that we chose him. Our positive experience started with the first interaction. Joe is professional and responsive, promptly replying to every call/message with clear responses to our questions. The scheduling part could have been a nightmare, given our hectic salon schedules, but Joe handled it with ease. He was very accommodating to our needs to minimize the disruption to our business operations. In terms of cost, Joe really worked with us and stayed on budget. He researched different materials and pricing, presenting us with various options and helped us save a significant amount of money without compromising on the quality of the materials or the installation process. The same is true for labor - Joe's prices are highly competitive. He was truly invested in helping us get the job done without breaking the bank. When it came to the installation itself, Joe and his partner Grant did a really clean and neat job. Our concrete floor wasn't in the greatest shape. They had to patch, level, and smooth out the floor before laying down the tiles. Also, there were parts of the installation that were tricky because of a design feature of our salon. Instead of taking the easy way out, Joe took the time to do it the right way. Joe's commitment to delivering a flawless final product goes beyond just installing tiles. The end result was simply beautiful. If you're looking for high-quality flooring and a stress-free installation experience, look no further than Joe's Flooring. Trust me, you'll be glad you did. read more

Our condo floor needed some major TLC. My wife and I were concerned as we had seen other units in our building where the flooring looked nice, but the floor was not leveled before installation and you could feel the unevenness when you walked on the floor. Joe gave us an estimate to level our floor and install our baseboards and flooring. Our floor had low spots that needed to be filled and high spots that needed to be ground down, and Joe did it all. Joe did all the work himself, and he did our entire condo in only a few days. From the start, Joe was communicative, transparent, and reliable - traits that are rare to find these days. He gave us great recs on where to buy flooring from and told us exactly what we needed to buy to complete the job. He also was able to accommodate our timeline in between his other ongoing jobs. From start to finish, it took less than a month to install new carpet in our living room and vinyl planks in the kitchenette area. I'm still stunned we were able to get this done that quickly. Most impressively, the job was completed in 2 days. He is fast, efficient and puts out quality work. I'd recommend him to any family and friend looking to install new flooring. Really satisfied with everything, and hope to use him again in the future! Thanks again Joe. read more

Joe did an excellent job replacing vinyl plank flooring in our kitchen that was damaged by our water heater leaking. We greatly appreciated his quality work, reliability, and responsiveness. read more

Joe has been BY FAR THE BEST sub I have worked with and I've worked with all the trades. Highly skilled, easy, honest, accurate, timely, dependable, doesn't take short cuts and I know it sounds crazy, but a JOY to work with. He made everything easy for me and met and exceeded my high and picky expectations. Maybe it's just my experience and everyone I know, but there tends to be a lot of over promise, under deliver and "change orders" in construction. Joe delivers the exact opposite. I have only good things to say about Joe - he was quick to respond, friendly, flexible with our schedule, and went out of his way to do a great job on my place! I initially called in stress, as one of the bathrooms in my rental property had water damage to the floor. He squeezed time during his schedule to check out the damage and take measurements. While he was there, he also assessed a "bubble" forming in the flooring of our master bed. Speaking to him, it's very clear Joe knows his stuff and wants to deliver quality service. We spoke a while on what the different options were, and he outlined what the next steps would look like. The following week, Joe came with me to a showroom in town so we could pick out floors. Although I had no idea what I wanted or what to look for, he asked me a lot of questions to advise me on what would be best for me. After I decided on the flooring, he put an order in and eventually did the install over the course of 2 days. During install, he helped so much that I did not need to hire anyone to uninstall the toilets/vanities. He even helped paint the walls near the baseboards and adjusted the unevenness of my bathroom mirror - he went above and beyond what I expected! Finally, Joe came back to repair the bubble issue in the bedroom floor. All in all, I am very happy with the work he did on our place. The next time I need help with flooring, I will definitely reach out to Joe again! He has 10/10 customer service, and I learned so much about flooring from him. read more

Mahalo Joe! He just installed (glue down) vinyl sheet flooring in our bedrooms and was efficient, detail oriented, and so so patient and understanding as we have many small dogs who aren't used to someone they aren't familiar with in the home and it got very noisy at times. He is highly skilled and very much in demand, so it will take coordinating to schedule an estimate and then installation, but it is very much worth working with him. He really took his time to ensure a quality job and finish - such an upgrade from the previous carpeting that I went from room to room after the install just to admire how great it looks. He performs EXCELLENT work and executes with great skill. He is honest and pointed out that the measurement of flooring we purchased at Home Depot didn't quite align with the actual installed total measurement, which is a benefit to us so that we can go back and avoid being overcharged. I will recommend him to family and friends in need of a great flooring installer. Mahalo again Joe, we are very appreciative that we got to work with you! M&B read more

Joe did a great job installing flooring in our home. He installed laminate in 4 bedrooms including our Master Bedroom and bath. And laid carpet tile in our foyer. Three rooms upstairs had carpet which he removed. The plywood subfloor under the carpet was uneven. There were high spots that he sanded down flat then he skimmed the whole subfloor with cement to level off the low spots. The master bedroom downstairs has a cement slab floor that was also uneven. He did the same thing and sanded the high spots then skimmed 100% of that space and made it level. Very thorough work. The laminate and carpet tile looks great. Thanks Joe great job! Ron read more
