Abbey Carpet & Floor was top-notch. From Micaela, to Cliff and his crew, and Jaime and Debbie in the office, our floor installation went off without a hitch. We also used the plumber provided, Timothy, and he was great. Everyone treated us with such respect and professionalism. This was our second time using Abbey, and I would recommend them hands-down to anyone needing flooring work done. read more

They were very responsive, calling back promptly & when they said they would (that's a biggie for me!), worked with us patiently when selecting the carpet (type, color, etc. ugh!) & padding. They worked well coordinating with the furniture movers. In addition, our house had some challenges (carpeting about built-ins, etc) & they did a beautiful job. Keep in mind I got nine quotes before choosing Abbey & it was a great decision read more

Abbey Carpet and Floor is the place to go! We came in looking for some quotes to put carpet in our living room. CJ was very knowledgeable and patient, walking us through all of the different types of carpets. He didn't try to upsell the most expensive products and gave us his honest opinion. They did an awesome job on the install. The carpet looks and feels great! Fair prices, knowledgeable staff, and professional installation in a timely manner. I very seldom do reviews, but Matt Wagner and Abbey Carpet & Floor Honolulu definitely deserve a 5-star rating! Just go straight there! You'll get a fair price, enjoy a totally transparent transaction, and get friendly, responsive service. A flooring purchase is a big investment and one most people don't make often. I truly appreciate the help I got from Matt and Abbey Carpet & Floor. The whole experience left me feeling well-educated, confident, and happy with my purchase. I found Abbey Carpet & Floor through a trusted general contractor with whom I've had the pleasure of doing many projects over the past 20 years. He told me, "I only work with good people with good values. Call Matt Wagner and see if he can help you." I texted Matt and my purchase of flooring for an entire house was easy from order to delivery. Matt answered every question I had immediately and thoroughly and when he didn't know the answer right away, he researched it with the manufacturer and got back to me quickly. When the flooring arrived, Matt worked with me to accommodate snags in my construction schedule that required storage and delivery that had not been planned. Thank you Matt and Abbey Carpet & Floor Honolulu! We wouldn't think of referring friends and family anywhere else. read more

We needed to replace the wall-to-wall carpet on our entire 2nd floor -- three bedrooms, four closets, and a floating staircase. We also needed a repair of a woodgrain-laminate step between our living and dining rooms. Micaela at the Abbey showroom was terrific in helping us quickly select the right materials for both and arranging for us to take advantage of a bank incentive discount. The crew did excellent work, moving and replacing furniture as needed, finishing the job in less than the scheduled two days, and leaving the place clean and tidy. The laminate repair was a challenge because the original brand is no longer available, but between the choice of replacement and the quality work to make it fit, it's basically invisible. We're delighted with our soft, attractive new carpet. read more

Boy, did we make the right decision to go with Abby Carpet and Flooring! From the day we entered the showroom to the finished project we had nothing but the best which include products to choose from, service, and guidance by the consultant there. Incidentally the consultant i would totally without a doubt recommend is Pam Wagner. She was so great to work with. She guided us through the whole process, and had great communication with us throughout the project. We ended up choosing a top on the line flooring at a great price. The installation was seamless by Jay and Derrick were excellent to deal with and absolutely the best installation with no hiccups! This is the third time I put flooring into a home that I've had and I must say this is the best of my new floors installation experiences! read more

In 2024, I worked with Matt at Abbey Carpet & Floor to install new flooring throughout the common area of our condo in Honolulu. Matt is an excellent communicator and worked with me to accommodate our schedule and unique circumstances. He assisted in meeting our condo's design and installation requirements providing insurance and other necessary documentation. The installers were tidy and on schedule. Quentin was the lead installer and he made sure to check in with me to verify the installation was meeting my expectations. I ran into Quentin in town a few months later and he remembered me and checked to make sure everything was still OK. I received bids from companies that were willing to install new flooring for less money, but when I reviewed the bids and saw that Abbey was going to install self leveler, new base, and do the job right, then it was an easy decision to go with Abbey Carpet and Floor. There is no question I'd work with Matt, Quentin, and the Abbey Carpet & Floor team again! read more

I worked with Micaela to replace the carpet in my apartment with laminate and had a fantastic experience. She was very thorough explaining all of the options to me, who has zero knowledge or experience with flooring, and even brought large floor samples over of my top picks when they came to do the estimate so I could visualize them better. The price was a little steep, but still fair. I ended up taking advantage of the ASB promotion and opting to rip out the carpet and glue myself, so I appreciated that they were willing to work with my limited budget. The installation went flawlessly and took exactly the amount of time they said it would take. The results look amazing and they cut and installed quarter rounds in even the tiniest nooks and crannies which was so impressive. I love my new floor and would 100% go back to Abbey if I ever have a new flooring project. read more

Truly enjoyed working with Janna, she was easy to work with right from the get go...and Derek came in a did the install did an awesome job! My brother and I (front and back house) just got our flooring done by Abbey Carpet & Floor. I can't begin to tell you how happy we are with their work. The whole process from selecting the type of flooring thru the installation was awesome. Matt explained to us about all the different types of flooring available. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. Communication with him was excellent! He kept us posted throughout the whole process which we really appreciated. We decided to go with the waterproof laminate and it was the best decision ever. The installation crew of Joe, Kaika, Atea, Ohu, Quentin, and Jay were amazing! They arrived every day with a good attitude, worked hard, and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. They worked so well together and I could tell that they really take pride in what they do. I only leave reviews when I have great experiences, and Abbey Carpet & Floor was awesome. I was introduced to the company through Amano Construction, and they leveled and installed flooring in my condo. From the initial consultation, the process was never rushed, focused on service, and addressed any and all questions I had. My fiancee and I had an initial sit down with Janna, and during that first meeting, she answered every question we had while still providing a no-pressure environment. She suggested laminate flooring due to us having a dog, and made sure to explain the pros, cons, and things to consider in detail. We went over multiple samples to find the look that we loved, and she made sure to tell us about ordering and delivery times to ensure that the project remained on schedule. She even brought samples of both flooring and tile to the condo so that we could see what it would look like in the actual environment/lighting, which we really appreciated. Even when the initial plan changed (we decided to go with laminate flooring throughout the entire unit, instead of tile in the bathroom) she remained on top of everything, keeping the project on track. Once the details were finalized, the work itself went smoothly, which was very important to me as I was managing the process from another state. Everyone involved in the work was diligent and executed as instructed; I'd like to shout out Joe (lead installer) and Ikaika in particular. After the project was completed, Janna provided a virtual walk through, making sure to address things that had come up during the installation process. She was thorough, patient, and helped make everything as stress-free as possible. I'd also like to thank Matt (in sales), as well as the receptionist who initially welcomed us, and an older sales gentleman who introduced us to Janna, during our initial visit. Having no knowledge or experience in this type of work, I can wholeheartedly recommend the team at Abbey Carpet and Flooring. They have aloha, they are down to earth, and it truly seems like they enjoy what they do! read more

I can't recommend Abbey Carpet & Floor enough! Micaela, our project manager, was outstanding--super helpful and always available for questions. We couldn't be happier!! Matt Wagner and his team were so great!! We had a lot of requests and needed to follow our protocol and orders from headquarters in Japan, but Matt was always willing to work with us every step of the way. From choosing the carpet that would work within our budget and strict timeline, to scheduling installation to actual installation-- Matt, Debora, Jaime, Mike, Cliff and the crew were a breeze to work with. I appreciated their professionalism and kindness. Abbey Carpet is a family run business and it shows in the way they treat their customers! I would not hesitate to recommend them for any of your future carpet installation needs. Thank you Abbey Carpet! Our rooms look so good with the brand new carpets! read more

Abbey Carpet and floor is the best! The service was lightening fast yet very detailed. I can't say enough good things about them. Matt helped us pick out a beautiful wood engineered floor at a very good price, and there was a promotion, which was added bonus. The installers were meticulous and did a flawless job. There was one piece of wood was cut around fridge and wrapping around the storage door, and I am still puzzled how the installer, Joe, put that piece in. They were amazing from start to finish. 110% highly recommended. From the time we set up our appointment to the final inspection, Abbey Carpet and Floor has been outstanding. Our Project Manager Micaela Wagner helped us select the LVP flooring for our foyer and 1/2 bath and added the toilet and vanity replacement since our floor was damaged from a leaking toilet with a missing wax ring. Their contractor Isamu Construction was a 5-star + company and did everything spot on. The estimator Lawrence was spot on with the material, only 1 full plank left over. We're now considering flooring some other rooms in our house and recommended them to friends and relatives who have asked. Mahalo Abbey Carpet 7& Floor! read more

We recently finished our home remodel & chose Abbey Carpet for the flooring throughout our home. We decided to check out their showroom after hearing positive things from other friends & family. First impression was lots of parking, then a very clean showroom and friendly greeter at the door. Our salesperson Matt Wagner asked us a few basic questions on what we were looking for and then sent us to the right area to browse. No pressure or following us around which I appreciated! When we were ready to ask some questions, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The number of choices was mind-blowing! This is our first home, so I have never shopped for carpet before. Our dog and young son steered us to a stain & water-resistant carpet called SmartStrand Forever clean by Mohawk. Lots of colors to choose from and we landed on the mushroom cap. I didn't realize that the carpet pad was just as important as the quality of the actual carpet. Matt showed us the premium memory foam & moisture barrier pad. I was able to lay down on a large piece with the carpet on top and was sold! We had the carpet installed by a very professional 4-man crew. I had just painted the whole interior of our home white & all the trim was new also. I couldn't believe there was no accidental scratches or dings anywhere. That can happen to the best of us and we were informed it could happen by Matt ahead of time. Kudos to the crew! I am bad with names, but I remember the Uncle's nickname "Buddha". What a solid crew, Abbey give these guys a bonus for Christmas! Positive attitudes go a long way with me & they were full of Aloha. BOTTOM LINE: Great experience from start to finish & follow-up from our salesperson Matt Wagner. The carpet fells so good and was installed to perfection! I will refer them to all of my family and friends. I am a roofing contractor & strive to give my customers the same experience. Well done Abbey Carpet. The finishing touch on our remodel is done and adds the look and luxury we were dreaming of. read more

The product range and entire team at Abbey are fantastic professionals that exceed expectations, I highly recommend their services. We were debating between luxury vinyl throughout or a combination with carpet upstairs. Our townhouse is close to the marina so durable waterproof flooring is a must. Researched flooring materials at Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, builder suppliers, online and couldn't find any products that fit our needs or budget. A friend recommended Abbey and once I looked around the showroom, I knew I was at the right place. The range and styles of vinyl, hardwood, tile, carpet, molding, etc is HUGE and fits all budgets. Pam is one of the design consultants, extremely knowledgably, kind and easy to work with, hope you get to work with her she's the best! We narrowed down a few vinyl and carpet combo options for Pam and team to bring to my place for a free cost estimate. Installation was the most impressive part of the entire experience. We needed to live through the work, so Pam and team came up with a phased approach so we could stay in the unit while work commenced. We're clean freaks and planned to use our kitchen every night so was very worried we'd come home to a mess and possible damages. Not at all, Tony and team were amazing professionals who's detailed work extended to caring for our home. Was pleasantly surprised at how clean the team left the place every day including the garage where much of the work was done. And no damage to anything, not the toilets, sinks, stove or refrigerator that needed to be moved and put back. The final product speaks for itself, we couldn't be happier, feels like a new move in ready home! Thank you Pam, Tony and the entire Abbey Team! read more

They were in time, fast, efficient, friendly, and communicated well. They explained the flooring materials and warranties clearly at their store and there were many great options to choose from. I would use them for all my flooring needs. They leveled my floors before installation so the planks and baseboards laid perfectly flat. They did a phenomenal job with the baseboards with the tricky transitions in my old house between the drywall and the single wall construction and discussed options for me to choose. They were tidy and cleaned up after themselves and I didn't have to clean a thing. Just enjoy my brand new floors. read more

Love the team at Abbey, we received fabulous service! Micaela explained the process in detail and came to our home with the estimator, Lawrence and through out the project. Micaela provided a detailed estimate and schedule of how long it would take and what would happen on each day. Her professionalism and friendly and caring personality made us feel like ohana. Tony was terrific as the lead on the project, explaining what they were doing each day and the team of Atea, Jr., Ohu, Kibin, Mat, and Dom were impressive. My wife and I met with Matt Wagner to install flooring in our home that had been damaged in a heavy rainstorm. We settled on Abbey as a one-stop solution rather than buying flooring and having to find an installer ourselves. We were NOT disappointed! An installation crew, lead by Tony, arrived and moved all the furniture out of the way. They laid down heavy duty thick paper in the areas and stairs where they would be working, plastic covering of areas to contain dust of tearing out the old flooring. Then the magic happens - the crew pours a fast setting material over the area to ensure it is precisely level. Then the flooring and baseboards, move the furniture back and we have a new floor! We purchased off white carpet that is supposed be highly resistant to stains because we have a pet. One evening during a windstorm, my husband accidentally walked onto shattered glass from a large art frame that had blown down. His foot bled like a faucet, and so we had a pool of blood and lots of blood droplets all over. I thought for certain the carpet was ruined. Our journey began with my other half declaring; " Honey; We're not going on vacation until the carpet gets replaced ! Instantly I felt a tightness in my lower back as my muscles screamed, Oh, Hell No ! ! After recalling an appealing Abbey Carpet and Floor TV commercial, a phone call was placed. We were invited down for a free, no obligation sales consultation. We went on down to 560 N Nimitz Hwy #106 and were warmly greeted into Flooring nirvana. If you have no idea what you are after, or your mind is already made up; Abbey Carpet and Flooring most likely can satisfy your flooring dreams. Mr CJ Mirto was a pleasant, knowledgeable an informative sales associate. After we expressed our desire for carpeted floors he showed us many different styles and colors. It did not take us very long to realize the "Magnificent- SmartStrand Forever Clean Silk Carpet" is what we wanted under our tootsies. Then, Mr. Mirto took the time to also explain the M-Smart 15/32 Pad w/Moisture Barrier padding would be recommended should our beloved puppy dog have an accident ? ( She is actually a pet owners dream in this regard) We then set up a time for Mr. Mirto along with his trusty Installation measurement specialist, to come out and get the exact measurements of our place. They came out promptly and then Mr. Mirto e-mailed me a detailed price estimate. He also went on to explain, Abbey Carpet and Floors "DO NOT" move furniture in your place. It is required that you have the rooms cleared of any an all furniture before the Installers get there. Abbey Carpet and Floors can recommend 'Movers for Hire' should you not want or cannot move the furniture yourself. Mr. Mirto then explained they had a Special going on with American Savings bank, It would save us 400.00 USD if we paid our deposit with a ASB Check or Debit Card. (Perfect, since we bank with ASB anyway) The deposit would have to be done on a certain day, also not a problem since it actually could have been done on the phone. I went down to Abbey Carpet and Floor on that day and Paid the Deposit. I was also asked if I would like to enter a drawing for a New Vacuum Cleaner. I said, sure why not. Later on that day I received a phone call saying I/We had won a SoniClean Vacuum valued at 400.00. That is a 800 dollar in the black for us day in my book. We were also more than pleased the Installation could be done in Two Phases. Phase 1 would be the LIving Room and Hall; Phase 2: The Two Bedrooms. This was done 2 weeks apart. This allowed us to move things into the area not being done, so it was Extremely Welcome. We have a Condo so not a whole lot of extra place to put your furniture, Yeah ? The Instalation went smoothly on both of the Install days and our home is all back to normal now with lovely new Capet ! We would like to thank the team at Abbey Carpet and Flooring for working with us to make our new Carpet dream a Reality ! Special thanks to CJ Mirto and Jaime Twiggs ! Don n Joyce read more
