Instantly, I heard back from Keith to schedule a home visit. In the first week of January, Keith came by to do a look through. He was very kind and professional. Keith emailed my estimate within several days. Our bathroom remodel was scheduled to take 14 days, but it was completed within 9 days, which was good for our family considering we only have one bathroom. From initial contact throughout the project Jeff, HHR Supervisor, kept open communication with me every day. He kept me afloat on what they found, what needed to be done, what my options were. Our goal was to finish prior to the baby coming and they exceeded our expectations and finished early. What can normally be a very stressful time, our renovation was a positive experience with a lot less stress than I anticipated. Attention to detail and a sincere motivation to do things the right way is how I would describe Igor and Vitali from Top Level Construction. A lot of the time these days you will hire a contractor or someone to do work around your house and they will do the minimum to make it work and usually cut a lot of corners. Igor and Vitali truly care about the level of their work and building things to last so there won't be issues in the future. An example of Vitali and Igor going above and beyond is when we decided to put 'Ohi'a posts in at the kitchen Island and they had to cut the countertop and tile around the uneven surface. It took a bit longer but the final product looks amazing! They even joked that they could install irrigation to water the trees if we wanted.. Igor could be a team lead/foreman himself as he showed so much skill as the understudy to Vitali. Whenever a challenge arose (which always happens in construction) they would always have great budget-friendly solutions to move the project forward. As the PM, Oleh, helped sort through everything with us as well. If we have future work that needs to be done on our house we won't look anywhere else. The project included a full down-to-the-studs kitchen remodel, extensive work in the bathroom, complete removal of the popcorn ceiling, new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, brand-new doors, and two fresh coats of paint on every wall. We got three bids, and Top Level was competitively priced. Their bid was also by far the most detailed--almost a line-item outline of the entire scope of work--which gave us a clear understanding of what to expect and a lot of confidence in their process. They came out on a Thursday to look at the unit and had demo work underway by the following Tuesday. That quick turnaround and level of responsiveness gave us a great first impression--and they kept that momentum throughout the entire job. The crew, all Ukrainian craftsmen, were hardworking and professional. Their work ethic really stood out. We couldn't be any happier with the opportunity to have worked with Versatile Construction. From the very beginning, while we had an idea of what we wanted, Alex helped us come to a good design/size requirement, providing suggestions and options along the way. Alex worked with his architect to complete multiple iterations of the drawings (making sure we were happy with what would be built), and also obtained the necessary permits for us. We were also able to use our own mason just for the concrete/foundation portion and there was absolutely no complications with bringing in this third party into the mix; Alex worked very well with him, making sure they were both on the same page and that all was in order for the build. As for the build, we are really satisfied with the results of the entire project, and especially with the way Alex coordinates/communicates and how he works along side his team. He was very upfront with scheduling himself and his team along with the other projects they were managing, but they were always there when they scheduled themselves to work on our house. I needed some motion activated lighting with solar power, some interior garage door locks as well as some extra door deadbolt locks installed. They were recommended to me by another 5-Star company. I was very very happy with the work of Roman Kravchenko of Rudenko Construction.w He installed everything just as if he was installing at his own home. His attention to detail was awesome. He measured three different ways before cutting or drilling. He would make sure that I knew what he was doing and was happy to have me watch him complete the work. He made sure that I also know how to adjust the motion lighting as well as how the garage door locks worked before he left the site. My only hesitation in writing this review is that once Roman he gets known I'm sure I may have trouble scheduling him and Rudenko Construction to come out to assist me in my misc. home improvement needs. So, I figured I will save money on my kitchen and do everything myself. Big mistake. The project took me a year to finish (actually I never fully finished) and before I got a chance to finish my badly installed countertop started to sag where I made a cut. My wife got upset too, and she would get more upset every time she saw my poor craftsmanship. One thing I won't do for sure ever again in my life is to trust my construction skills. I called Rudenko construction and they came to the rescue. They installed new countertops, hanged new cabinets, installed a fan over my kitchen and tiled a wall. Awesome experience with Rudenko construction! Had some water damage from a leaky toilet and the plumbers had to put a hole in my ceiling to ensure there was no water damage and mold! Contacted Rudenko to inquire about repairs to the textured ceiling and they responded within a day. I quickly sent over images and they were ready to schedule a contractor for the repairs. We recently hired Ivan to build a wall for us. He is easy to work with, and he made himself available on our timeline, which was extremely tight. Ivan is very detail oriented when he works, and very clean. You can hardly even see that he is working. Ivan did a great job! I wanted to make use of the space in my stairway closet as well as get it organized. He converted my stairway closet door from an inswing to an outswing and added brackets so I could put in shelving. We hired Rudenko LLC for the AC installation. My girlfriend didn't want a block window with plywood. Ivan was very fast and creative. From the first site visit to the final walkthrough, everything was seamless. William managed this project very well and guided us through this process with ease. At any point if we had questions he was quick to respond. The showroom they have is great and the experience of setting your preferences on design and materials is quite enjoyable. The only hiccup we encountered is that the supplier of the original tile that had been selected did not come in the size we needed and so it wouldn't have meshed well with the current tile in the living room. William helped us find a suitable alternative and we were able to pivot and are very pleased with the outcome. There were a couple of adjustments during the project but again related to the tile, we changed the direction of the placement which allows for us to replace the remaining tile in the house in the future if we decided to do so. William and team thinking ahead with our needs in mind really provided a sense of care. To top it all off, we wanted this build done ASAP and the team was able to complete the remodel in 8 days compared to their estimate of 10 - 14. We are extremely pleased with the work and so glad we went with a business right here in Kaneohe. Thank you William, Wen, and team! My renovation consisted of a full kitchen & bathroom remodel, with tub to shower conversion. I contacted a few companies and received various quotes, some of which required me to travel to various showrooms to select materials which as a first time home renovator, seemed overwhelming. However, when I was contacted by William, he informed me he had previously done renovations in my building and was very familiar with how the management office worked, water shut off, elevator reservations, etc. MY Construction's showroom had all materials/samples in one place where I could put everything together and get a visual idea; he also had tons of photos of examples on his phone to show me. Can't say enough amazing things about William and his crew, not only did he keep me updated daily, but he also handled so many of the nuance tasks on his own, making sure I wasn't distracted at work or taking on any unnecessary stress during the project. (He even dealt with a cranky tenant who had been accidentally double booked by management for the elevator as well as installing all of the new appliances!) The communication couldn't have been better. On to the finished reno; it's truly everything I wanted and more! I am currently renting the apartment to a friend and he's had no issues with any leaks, appliance function, and he's also commented how stunning the renovation turned out! Our condo has some pretty strict requirements such as putting them under Hy's insurance policy and getting everything approved. Josh helped us with the process, and got our condo on their policy quickly. After we signed with them, we did a walk through of our condo, they were very detailed in asking questions to understand what we wanted and were super helpful and patient with our many questions lol. They got rid of our all our popcorn ceiling, carpet, installed vinyl plank for our entire condo, as well as change out our bathroom vanities & mirrors, and made shelves for our bathrooms. It turned out even better than I expected honestly! Afterwards I remember looking up at our ceiling and feeling grateful of how smooth and well done it is and the vinyl planks were done beautifully. Everything was really meticulously done even down to the quarter rounds that line the edges of our flooring. Mr. He and his partner did most of the work, he was very communicative, professional and even did many little extra things for us around the house that my husband thought of later like installing shower/tower rods so everything matched, at a very reasonable price, he even painted our door for free! I honestly am so grateful for him, he's such a nice guy. They got everything done in timely manner too! Since we were trying to move in ASAP, as my son was gona be born in 2 months.
