Advertised as up to 70% off. We could not find a dresser that was deeply discounted in that way. Nor were there any style of dressers we liked that were in stock AND under $1000 (except one that looked like a mountain person build it behind the barn. Someone is into that look). My salesperson coached me to photo the SKU of anything we liked so they could check stock. When we finally found something we liked that was in stock, we paid and set the delivery. This piece of furniture looks great. I really wanted to spend $800 but for $1300 we got a well built, mid-century modern-ish dresser that should last 20+ years. And it is not something we had to build (looking at you City Mill). The day before delivery we realized we never got the text to inform us of the scheduled window. Called the store and and discovered it hadn't been scheduled. Our sales person was in the store and they got on the phone with me to reschedule. They were sincerely apologetic. A couple days later we received a thank you card in the mail. The process isn't easy because furniture is so expensive. And most of it takes months to arrive. At homeworld (CS Woo etc.) I appreciate the support the sale team and delivery guys provide. Just please stop advertising a big sale when it is clearly NOT

Our contractor used Kreative Kamaaina as a subcontractor to install "some" blinds in our commercial…read morespace. I'm hesitant to provide a review but figured it's helpful from my point of view. 5/5 for remedying problems and communicating a date set to come by. 3/5 for the added emotional digging on me during the whole process from Kreative Kamaaina. I'd like to elaborate that I felt like they wanted me to grovel at their feet that they came to fix the blinds in our space and even today to do a "check" on the blinds. I felt the process of "checking" the blinds today was at their own pace; I had to step into each room to test and see each installation that they did was correct after I felt they hurriedly checked by them. During today's check, one of the slats fell down but they ended up fixing it on the spot (which is great but also at the emotional cost of feeling like I have the representative annoyed at me). Today's check I have one representative from Kreative Kamaaina accusing me to my face that I didn't seem appreciative that they came out at 7am in the morning today for this check after I said "yes I appreciate it". She says after that "well I don't think you do." Like what? She's priding herself on being professional but that bickering was highly unprofessional. It just felt like I was in this nagging relationship, and they want to blame me/the client or anybody else/the contractor for how things were going. Honestly my blame is on both Kreative Kamaaina and the contractor we used for allowing this to happen (slats to fall, a whole bracket to fall). Both sides (Kreative Kamaaina and the contractor) agreed to a scope and to use materials that was provided. If there was a problem to begin with or foresight to future problems because they have been doing this for 30+ years then, they never should've been a sub for this job. Although they came out to fix the problem, it comes with a side of attitude. And I just give the attitude right back to stand up for myself because who am I also bringing with me to this 7am "check"? My 6 month old baby and 2 year old. Am I in a great mood to deal with this? No. This job was signed off as completed March 31, 2025 (I have the receipt) and according to the contractor, they provide a 1 year guaranty. When a whole bracket of blinds fell down in a medical exam room, it happened on March 20th, 2026 so that is within the 1 year mark. Also that bracket had "Kreative Kamaaina" sticker on it but the representative is adamant it is not theirs. I'm confused on all fronts, feeling verbally abused and not feeling great about being treated. It's insane to me that I have really no one taking accountability or pointing fingers at one another -- and/or blaming the budget- when there is a choice of saying "no" by this vendor or the contractor to begin with. Or at least educate us as clients so we know to use or increase our budget to get the correct blinds for our Commericial space.
