I turned to Kathleen Query and asked if she could manage my new unit even though it was in town. She agreed. She has been managing my condo ever since. I have had very good results with her as my rental manager. When i owned the townhouse in Waimanalo, it was a rental unit. I was the remote landlord. Unfortunately, I seemed to have significant problems with my rental managers over the years. I had to change rental managers 4 times. I am very happy with Kathleen Query as my rental manager. My rental unit is always full, I receive monthly statements on time, and funds are deposited into my account on time. Periodically I return to Hawaii and do a walk through of my unit. Unfortunately, I had to break my lease they clearly communicated with me there would be a $400 move out charge and I need to keep utilities on. I gave them 3 months notice and they waited until a week after I moved out to tell me I wouldn't get my full deposit back and wouldn't get the money I paid up front for the next month. They told me I was fortunate since I had two months left of my rent. Knowing this I could have stayed at property but since we were already moved out there was nothing I could do but accept the outcome.
