This Target has been wonderfully designed with updated interior and a massive overhaul to take advantage of the extra space by expanding the department's and adding a Starbucks coffee shop. The selections at this location is no different than any other Target store. They have a variety of products for Most age groups, and background. Just like every other Target store you can find some great value deals on all kind of household goods. Sadly, that does not necessarily mean you can find that store wide. As a true sign of the times, the cost of goods has gone up. Target, as a company, tries to offer, off brand products now to give the illusion that cost have not changed. Sadly, the quality of those products just aren't as good. If you don't believe me just read the reviews on those products. It speaks volumes. So be mindful of that. On the bright side. The staff here are wonderful, hard working individuals. My experiences have always been pleasant and positive. When I interact with them has always been very nice and professional. Parking can be a pain if you're going during the busy hours. So, I usually recommend going early as possible. Maybe even when the store opens at 8 AM. Overall, although I don't shop at Target as much as I used to anymore. I will always recommend this location because when I did. It has always been a pleasant experience. tried to purchase a can of multi purpose electronic duster (endust) but upon my visit to the physical store learned that not only they lacking stock, but so were all nearby stores. Had not known till visiting my local Office Depot, that this product is rarely in stock in the California because it's stolen by drug addicts as an inhalant. Thankfully Office Depot keeps their stock locked at the register. As for the store, it's not badly stocked, but the way goods are merchandised does not resonate with me. read more

This target is so dirty especially around the area where the carts are. The bathrooms are very dirty and smelly. Also they never have carts through the main entrance you have to walk to the other entrance to get a cart. I hardly ever see employees walking around to assist customers. ....UP until today this location could've received 6stars... NOT HAPPENING. NOPE. Reasons; made $10 purchase,( for a later occasion) handed cashier $50, come towards heading back to work I decide to then to grab a bite to eat. Cashier never gave me my change I thought I was crazy checked receipt/ cashier rang me up for $10 instead of the $50 I'd handed to her. Didn't even document anything or make any copy or show of any concern of such a BIG mistake this cashier had just made. This cashier could be possibly getting away with a lot of forgotten change to customers. And though my issue was valid/ black mail lady in customer service returns handle the issue. TERRIBLY!! How do you just pull $$$40 out of register and freely without questioning documents or even looking into who the cashier was, to make sure it doesn't happen again... let alone not even retain a copy of the receipt. REDUX NOTE: Was shopping with a kid today for college and she had gift certificate. The new @target policy is not as I was told NATION WIDE. I was at 2 Target's in Texas and when I saw NO 10 items or less signs, when I mentioned it to the girl managing the California a policy and she laughed and said NOPE in Texas you can use the self check out regardless of how many items. Nothing like a NOD that my decision not to shop at aTarget was correct Have been shopping at this target for the last four years. I have always found that they have self check out at both sides of the store. Incredibly convenient I spend between three and $500 a month at this target although this will be my last $333.18 that I spend at target Today I had an entire cart full of belongings I headed to the self check out where a sales representative stopped my basket with her hand and said I was unable to check myself out. I said I don't have alcohol because as most people know you cannot check out alcohol by yourself she said I am very sorry but our new policy is you're not allowed to check yourself out if you have more than 10 items? I then had to stand in the line and the worlds slowest cashier checked me out while I waited for a manager. It's a good thing the cashier was incredibly slow, because so was the manager lead who was very nice, but said she could not elaborate on why we could not check our things out. It had come from corporate, and had been mandated two weeks ago So I am waiting for Angel to call me back. Apparently this is the store manager at this location Now the lines are incredibly long because nobody can check themselves out if they get more than toothpaste and a few other incidentals I am upset that folks that spend a great deal of money at target are now going to be punished for the fact they cannot manage their shrinkage as if it wasn't bad enough when they started locking everything up adding another 30 minutes to your shopping experience because you had to wait anywhere between two and six minutes for someone to show up per locked container This is always been a very clean and well appointed as well as incredibly well stocked target, but I'm not going to shop somewhere where I can't do self check out so that I don't have to wait half a year for the slow cashiers to get through people in a job they don't want to do read more

Target is honestly one of my favorite places to shop. The store is always clean, well-organized, and packed with so many different things--from home goods to clothes to snacks you didn't know you needed until you saw them. The workers are super helpful and friendly too, which makes every trip feel like a breeze. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they tragically stopped carrying my favorite soap. It might seem small, but when you find the perfect scent and it suddenly disappears, it hurts a little! Still, overall, Target remains a go-to spot for nearly everything else. I've been calling for three hours nobody picks up their phone !!!!! Very frustrating and horrible experience!!!!

Racist store and employees. I was in line at self check out and I feel the security guard by the exit glaring at me. I look and sure enough he is. After I finish paying, I even ask the self check out clerk to provide a receipt for me to make it obvious I paid for everything. I get the receipt, walk towards the exit and sure enough the security guard stops me and asks for a receipt. He scans it, takes a while, scans it again, and then points to an item and asks if I paid for it. Nevertheless, it's the first item on the receipt. Literally the first. I say yes I paid for it. And he scans again and finds it this time. The embarrassment I experienced was too large for him to just dismiss me and say "okay you're good." After he gives me the receipt back, the person behind me gives him her receipt but he says no you're good. This was all with my baby in the carrier. I will never go back. I work too hard to be racially profiled. Especially by another brown person. I don't care if I match the description. Don't do that to me. Especially when I'm with my baby. read more

After the white woman was being checked out the cashier in the photo demeanor changed and her smile left and she didn't greet us. As i grabbed clothes out of my cart the lady in the photo asked for the clothes even though my other items we're on the counter. she singled it out profiling me as if i was going to steal the it. Other thing while I was in the women aisle there was a chubby white man with blue jeans glasses and a red top that was watching me shop as if i was going to steal. He brushed his fingers against clothes as if he was "working". I don't know what obsession target employees have with profiling and disrespecting black people, but I'm truly disgusted in the type of people target employs. I will be reporting this to corporate. Black americans don't support Colma target, stop shopping there!!!! They have a profiling hate against black people even though they are POC they are not the same! My daughters were buying their Christmas presents at Target Colma when all of a sudden, the receipt paper ran out. On the screen, it said wait for a team member to resolve the issue. They waited for around 5 minutes before anyone arrived. The team member who came was Anita, and she did not make any type of communication to them. She kept sighing when opening the machine and rudely handed the receipt into my daughter's hand. Then, they thanked her and she rudely slammed the door and walked off with nothing to say. Please work on your service skills, Anita. Very rude of you to have such an attitude when this wasn't any of their faults. read more

The departments are as expected for a Target, and like most stores these days, it's obvious there's supply chain issues. This location feels safe, it's tidy, and there's a parking lot. I actually was stopped and asked if I needed help finding anything! Either the employee was being friendly because I looked lost, or I looked suspicious. I'll go with friendly and helpful. There's another Target down the road, so you can turn left or right off 280. I have noticed recently a lot of department stores, including this one, have a lot of plus-size mannequins, a bow to reality. No shortage of paper towels here, rather a stunningly jam-packed aisle on both sides, enough to rival Costco. The other notable abundance is the toy department. Stay away from gift cards at all Targets. Zero recourse from them and you are stuck getting screwed over. Bought a $100 Visa gift card which i found out later was compromised. When i bought it I literally checked it thoroughly and it was SEALED with the zip tab still there. Even so upon opening the card had numbers scratched off including the pin. No one at Target would help. Since it was on my Target card I filed a claim on the charge and they denied that too stating the card was "activated successfully". No sh*t Sherlock! That's how the scam works. They wait until you buy the card and activate it for use. Boo. I came here on the way to taking my sister to the airport. She had been helping me move into my new apartment. I had spent something ridiculous like $537 at the City Center Target in San Francisco, but I had forgotten a mattress protector. I thought it would be easy enough to rush in here and pick one up, but it started pouring rain right when we pulled into the (annoying) parking lot, so our quick trip ended up being wet and not so quick. The layout of the store is absurd, and of course, what we were looking for was almost as far away from the entrance as physically possible. I'm really glad I brought my sister along, as she was familiar with this Target layout even though she'd never been to this Target (it apparently approximates a layout she's familiar with in L.A. County's South Bay), so she had us headed in the right direction in no time. It wasn't terribly busy, yet they still didn't have any cashiers working. Nope, I was forced to use self-checkout, which I abhor (and you should too) because it takes away people's jobs and because it makes you an unpaid employee of the store; you're doing work for them even though the price of what you're buying includes the paid labor of employees checking and bagging what you buy. So you're getting less for your money by using self-checkout. Did I mention the Target-brand mattress protector I bought--the sole reason I stopped here, the cheaper of only two options they had--was too expensive? It also almost got totally ruined the first time I dried it, even though I followed the instructions. Just more cheap crap (but actually relative expensive, in this case) from China. read more

Had put in an order for pickup and got an email that my 2 items were ready for pickup. I arrived hoping to be in and out but it took some time as they could only find one of my items. They ended up having to go back out to the floor to pull an item off the shelf to fulfill my order. However, the staff was very friendly and one of them even helped wheel the items to my car and load it in as it was very heavy and bulky. read more

It's not longer a secret that TARGET PRICE MATCHES in-store printed ads but did you know they also match ONLINE COMPETITORS?! Only the select few sites specified on their list (as of 8/2019 that even includes Amazon.com and Costco.com). I've had them match everything from camping gear and car seats (just last night) to cases of beer (still waiting for amazon to relist those insane summer deals $5 for a 12 pack of Blue Moon). You can even stack that with in-app cartwheel offers. I love not paying retail! read more

Like Starbucks located every other block You would think this is my favorite store with the Serramonte Center Target (I know you read that review) only a couple of miles away. So what's special about here? It's the standard, you enter on the right door to manage the amount of people inside. And exit on the left with the exception of some people entering from there because they can't read. Anyway, I just came from Michaels (I know you read that review also) and wanted a coffee from Starbucks, which they have. I picked up a hot pan pizza and walked around the fully stocked store which carries the same items as every other target. I don't know if this is a Super Target but it's big. Two things that do stand out is they sell flowers, which is convenient for down the hill and they have a cell phone charging locker. That is cool. Overall four stars. It's a standard Target. Stopped in at this target location Saturday night to pick up a new tv as mine had finally given out on me. I had not been to this location in quite some time so when I walked in I was surprised to see that it had been remodeled. Very clean and new set up and initially hit me with a wow factor as it was an unexpected surprise. The new set up and positioning makes much more sense and made navigating the store very easy. I took some time to walk around and learn the new layout and then made my way to the back of the store and the electronics department. When I got there, I could not find an employee to help me with my purchase. I walked up and down each isle of electronics before finally seeing one young man walk out from the stock room area. He had apparently been searching for an item for another customer. The customer had a lot of questions, and was trying to price match an older laptop model that the employee was able to find for him, and I tried to wait patiently. After a good 20 minutes (being generous as it was probably longer) I finally asked if there was another employee that could help me out to which the kid said "nah". Finally he finished with the other customer and just gave me a head nod to acknowledge that he was ready to assist me. I told him that I wanted to get a tv, pointed out the one I wanted, to which he sighed and told me that "it's going to be awhile. I have to go to the back to look for it". Again I waited another 10 minutes or so before he walked out with another employee just to inform me that they had the tv in stock but could not sell it to me because they did not have any available carts to bring it out to my car with and that "legally they can't sell it to me without a cart". I told him that I had already waited for about 45 minutes at this point and that I would wait for him to locate a cart so that I didn't leave empty handed. Another 10 minutes passed and finally he came out with my tv on a cart. I payed and was about to grab the cart when he stopped me and told me "please don't touch that. We're not legally allowed to let you push your own cart. You have to wait for someone to come take it to your car for you..." To make the rest of this short, I waited another 15 minutes before someone came and brought the tv out to my car. Point of my rant, customer service has really taken a nosedive over the years. Service is bad here especially an Indian lady (Amesha) who never shows her name tag and another lady name Dalaliah (wears glasses). She likes to cut people off when they're talking. I went to purchase something and was trying to ask her for help, but she instantly cuts me off not even letting me finish my sentence. She always gives me a hard time and I'm in my wheelchair. Not sure if she's discriminating against me. Dalaliah and Amesha think they own the whole Target corporation but they're just cashiers there. They should just scan items and do their job correctly. 11 pm on a Friday evening. This Target is still popping. Lots of customers, and lots of staff. Just keep an eye out for the representatives collecting shopping carts in the parking lot--it's like a reverse game of frogger out there. Would definitely recommend. Two stars off because of a weird return policy they have for some products; should affect most people, but all I'll say is check the details for returns on (unused) feminine hygiene; terms seem to be more restrictive at Target than at other stores. One star back earned during checkout. Was able to get price match on a Target.com item right at checkout, and the cashier was very polite and helpful in getting a coupon and gift card to come up on my phone. Overall happy with my experience, would only suggest that Target take another look at the return policy for feminine hygiene products. read more

I had no idea what I was going to get for Christmas presents this year but this extraordinarily helpful young man in glasses (I believe his name was Davie or David) helped me pick out an entire outfit for my son! He absolutely loved his gifts when he opened them up on Christmas so I am so grateful I ran into Davie folding clothes while I was shopping. Because this is open until 12am Midnight it earns ***** FIVE STARS where their peer stores as well as competitors opt to close earlier, this location is there for you 'til the end of the day and then some! It's located safely in Seramonte Mall, so has easy parking late at night and feels safe and secure too. It's a good sized target, with the typical varied departments to shop and find things. It's really not that far for folks in San Francisco to travel to, especially those on the South side of SF, since it's right off of the 280 freeway and usually has no traffic congestion, easy in and easy out. read more

Target App advertised Apple Watch 5 size 40 mm at $299 and store charged $499.00. I raised concern with Customer Service Manager Eric and was told there was no sale. I showed him my phone with Target App and sale price increased while waiting from $299 to $329. After a lot of hassle and judgement he gave a partial refund. This is wrong on so many different levels. Brand and reputation are critical for any successful business. Bait and switch tactics create trust issues for consumers. Do the right thing Target and make the adjustment. When I came back home I see that the sale again is posted at $299 on the Target App. In addition, you should consider remedial customer service training for staff and management on real-time service issue resolution. read more
