Greetings to all, this review is for my Experience at this Target location: The parking lot is a good size that is shared with its surrounding neighborhoods, this is An B for me. The inside of this location was moderately lit for its selling purposes. An B for me. The selections at this location were very nice with a good price to with them. They have selections for Most age groups, and these were good as well. The service staff were very helpful and friendly, this was An A for me. For the most parts , this location was very clean and friendly with a good amount selections for everyone at a good value. An B for me.

Tweakers steal this as an inhalant so it's not often in stock.

tried to purchase a can of multi purpose electronic duster (endust) but upon my visit to the physical store learned that not only they lacking stock, but so were all nearby stores. Had not known till visiting my local Office Depot, that this product is rarely in stock in the California because it's stolen by drug addicts as an inhalant. Thankfully Office Depot keeps their stock locked at the register. As for the store, it's not badly stocked, but the way goods are merchandised does not resonate with me.

    It all pans out

This is the first Target I been to ever and it's still here ever since. They added a Starbucks inside. There are plenty of items such as household items, electronics, books, and music. There is also food and drinks. Target was right on target by putting this Target at this location. Now they have Targets in San Francisco at Masonic , Stonestown and SOMA This is still a solid Target to go to in Colma

A false receipt. Item cost 10/ I gave cashier 50 ( all on their Camera) she rang me for 10???

....UP until today this location could've received 6stars... NOT HAPPENING. NOPE. Reasons; made $10 purchase,( for a later occasion) handed cashier $50, come towards heading back to work I decide to then to grab a bite to eat. Cashier never gave me my change I thought I was crazy checked receipt/ cashier rang me up for $10 instead of the $50 I'd handed to her. ( it's on camera) Sooooo, what did cashier do with the change though!!??? Lol Not too far away, I returned to target within less than 5-6 minutes. With receipt in hand, guess who's missing from register???? THE SAME LADY THAT RUNG ME UP No problem, I headed yo customer service; some tall maybe in her 20-30's white lady with lots of makeup on and black nails, has security look at footage. Okay, Cool. Security comes out not wanting to admit the visible error he'd just viewed on camera. Kindly hands receipt, to black mail lady. I was not questioning, I was funded the $40 change I'd been owed in the first place, as well as the receipt. My Concern for the store: black nail lady/returns Dpt. Didn't even document anything or make any copy or show of any concern of such a BIG mistake this cashier had just made. This cashier could be possibly getting away with a lot of forgotten change to customers. And though my issue was valid/ black mail lady in customer service returns handle the issue. TERRIBLY!! How do you just pull $$$40 out of register and freely without questioning documents or even looking into who the cashier was, to make sure it doesn't happen again... let alone not even retain a copy of the receipt. It's like black nail lady didn't care, with a lightweight attitude and was in a rush with all of her customers. Smh...

The policy that I've been told was implemented two weeks ago

REDUX NOTE: Was shopping with a kid today for college and she had gift certificate. The new @target policy is not as I was told NATION WIDE. I was at 2 Target's in Texas and when I saw NO 10 items or less signs, when I mentioned it to the girl managing the California a policy and she laughed and said NOPE in Texas you can use the self check out regardless of how many items. Nothing like a NOD that my decision not to shop at aTarget was correct Have been shopping at this target for the last four years. I have always found that they have self check out at both sides of the store. Incredibly convenient I spend between three and $500 a month at this target although this will be my last $333.18 that I spend at target Today I had an entire cart full of belongings I headed to the self check out where a sales representative stopped my basket with her hand and said I was unable to check myself out. I said I don't have alcohol because as most people know you cannot check out alcohol by yourself she said I am very sorry but our new policy is you're not allowed to check yourself out if you have more than 10 items? I then had to stand in the line and the worlds slowest cashier checked me out while I waited for a manager. It's a good thing the cashier was incredibly slow, because so was the manager lead who was very nice, but said she could not elaborate on why we could not check our things out. It had come from corporate, and had been mandated two weeks ago So I am waiting for Angel to call me back. Apparently this is the store manager at this location Now the lines are incredibly long because nobody can check themselves out if they get more than toothpaste and a few other incidentals I am upset that folks that spend a great deal of money at target are now going to be punished for the fact they cannot manage their shrinkage as if it wasn't bad enough when they started locking everything up adding another 30 minutes to your shopping experience because you had to wait anywhere between two and six minutes for someone to show up per locked container This is always been a very clean and well appointed as well as incredibly well stocked target, but I'm not going to shop somewhere where I can't do self check out so that I don't have to wait half a year for the slow cashiers to get through people in a job they don't want to do

The departments are as expected for a Target, and like most stores these days, it's obvious there's supply chain issues. This location feels safe, it's tidy, and there's a parking lot. I actually was stopped and asked if I needed help finding anything! Either the employee was being friendly because I looked lost, or I looked suspicious. I'll go with friendly and helpful. There's another Target down the road, so you can turn left or right off 280. I have noticed recently a lot of department stores, including this one, have a lot of plus-size mannequins, a bow to reality. No shortage of paper towels here, rather a stunningly jam-packed aisle on both sides, enough to rival Costco. The other notable abundance is the toy department. Wow, I don't have small kids, but managed to spend a half hour there for retail entertainment. I went on a Wednesday afternoon, the checkout lines were short & moved fast.

This location doesn't open until 8 am....someone should update their information on here, since it says they open at 7 am. Did they recently change this and just didn't update Yelp?

And in our case, it was well-deserved. Eun Soon greeted us and after letting her know what we were looking for, showed us some really interesting items. She showed us a sleeper from Finland which met all our needs. It was a Luonto Nico King sleeper. It would take a few weeks to get in. Semi, the other half of the store staff, was our contact after this point and she really delivered. After the sleeper was delivered, we noticed there was a 3cm gash in the corner of one of the arms. It matched a gash in the bubble wrap so probably happened in transit. Anyway, the manufacturer was not the most responsive in getting this addressed although they filed a claim with the freight company. After the Christmas holidays, we contacted the manufacturer again who then told us they could not give us information directly and we would have to work with Furniture Innovation. Bummer since it's been weeks since they were notified. We then got in touch with Semi, who promptly put in an order for the arm, which could be replaced instead of swapping the entire sleeper. The replacement part did not match the original so a new part had to be ordered. Instead of us waiting another few weeks for the replacement, FI removed an arm from one of the same sleepers they had in the store and had the repair team come back on the same day and swap out the arm. They knew we already waited weeks for a resolution and worked out something out so we didn't have to wait even longer. We very much appreciated the extra effort on their part to make sure we were taken care of. Also, much kudos to the delivery/repair team who also went above first noticing the part was not an exact match, then came back the same day to do the repair. We would definitely go back to Furniture Innovation for future purchases, which we're already thinking about. Great people to work with.

UPDATE!!!! Worst Customer Service Ever!…read moreBad practices, lack of communication with poor accountability. I designed my media room centered around the size, color and style of the loveseat. The other items I purchased all went very well together. I made this purchase in August 2025. The Maimz Loveseat with matching Ottoman, 4 Barstools, a Dropleaf Round Breakfast Table with matching 4 Chairs and assorted furniture including a bed, frame and swivel leather chair. Delivered February 21st 2026 They didn't let me know the loveseat would NOT be delivered. They canceled the order. No one knew what happened. It took over a week of me calling them. Finally someone at Corprate said they issued a refund in January, but failed to let me know through a call, text or email. There wasn't any paperwork confirming a refund transaction until March 3rd. Finally received an Email after over 8 phone calls to customer service, the store and the Philippines that the couch was discontinued. So I have an ottoman with no matching couch! Where did the refund money go? No paperwork, transaction number or notification. When asked where they sent it, they didn't know which bank account? Unacceptable follow up with nothing good in email, no detailed information at all. The worst customer service I have ever received . Sold me an an ottoman with no matching couch. That they finnaly issued a pickup for return, but never mentioned my refund! Poor excuse that it was discontinued, I had first dibs on the display couch. This was mine! Where did it go? I'm returning everything I purchased for this room from Ashley. But they are refusing to take back the barstools and Breakfast set. They left me high and dry like an empty airplane with passengers left in the terminal. The customer service is completely unacceptable. If i get one more AI Chat bot from Jenny, I'm going to scream. ---- Review I wrote when purchased: Miss Vivian is the BEST at this Colma location. She got me deals upon deals. I'll never forget the time she spent with me making my purchases, and all of the assisting staff and management. Each and every person and item is Top Notch! I can't wait to get these home just in time for the upcoming holidays. This location has good parking. Clean well displayed store. I found many items of interest. Will definitely shop at this location again in near future.

The cashier had it ready behind in a storage area, handed it over with a smile, and we were on our way--no waiting, no confusion, just easy. Of course, once we were inside, leaving immediately was out of the question. The store is a maze in the best way, packed with shelves that feel like little windows into different parts of the world. We drifted from aisle to aisle, pausing every few steps to point something out to each other. The international snack section alone could keep you busy for an hour. I found myself lingering over Japanese rice crackers in colorful packaging, a cheerful Hello Kitty snack assortment, and rows of German bottled sausages, and pantry staples. There were so many nostalgic and unexpected finds mixed together. I spotted White Rabbit candies--the same creamy treats I remember from childhood--right next to bottles of Kewpie mayonnaise and tins of beautifully packaged sardines that looked almost too elegant to open. Some chips had labels entirely in Asian languages, no English at all, which somehow made them even more tempting. Nearby were jars of caviar, imported cured meats like prosciutto, and shelves of specialty ingredients that made me want to plan an entire dinner party on the spot. George ended up picking out a few things to take home: delicate Bonne Maman raspberry tartelettes, a bag of traditional German Black Forest-style egg noodles (spätzle), and a box of crisp cannoli shells. It felt like a little culinary tour without ever leaving the store. As we wandered, I had the thought that this place would make a surprisingly perfect first-date spot. You learn a lot about someone by what catches their eye--what they reach for, what they're curious about, what reminds them of home. It's relaxed, a little quirky, and full of conversation starters. By the time we left, doormat in hand, I was already thinking about coming back. It's the kind of place that invites you to slow down, explore, and discover something new every time.
