Finally, Five Below has graced the Peninsula and it was everything I've expected and more. Located in the Bridgepointe shopping center, it's right next to Petco and there is plenty of parking for all. Like the name indicates, everything seemed to be $5 and under which makes the budget friendly heart quite happy, although there were a few select items that are $5.55. All items seemed to be properly marked with the price. They have everything ranging from stationary, gym, and make up. Their candy section is also very impressive and they have a "make your own" candy bag station. Similar to how Target makes me feel, I feel like Five Below tells me what I need. They also have licensed anime and Sanrio themed items. It really is a little bit of something for everyone kind of place. I made it out of the store without buying anything, but there was a few times I was enticed and I can see myself going a little crazy here.

I was heading to World Market but noticed Five Below was opened so we took a look around. Inside looked clean and organized. Lots of items to browse through like pillows, art supplies, tees, toys, headphones, balloon selections, makeup, cards, drinks + candy etc...

Why? WHY? WHY?! Who in the name of god came up with the concept of this god forsaken store? Is it like Daiso? No. Is it Party City? Kinda. Somebody decided to take the concept from Dollar General, multiply it by five, make it blue, and then make it a store. I have enough crap in my house already, I do NOT need any more of this junk! There's pillows with bright, purple sequin on it, there's weird Halloween masked at the entrance of the store, and there's ugly plushies everywhere. I'm not even mad about it, frankly, I'm amused. There's a bunch of kids running around playing with the stuff. This place is just a worse, more expensive version of Party City. I had walked through the store and had not seen even a single employee.

Location is near Petco on the ice skating rink end of the mall.

They just opened and the selection of items is pretty weak compared to other locations. Hopefully they will get more stock soon. Fun for the kids reasonably priced small toys, basic electronics, sporting goods, and candy. Location is spacious.

This is the best store I called in last night and a lady answer I request three shirts specific size she put me on hold for a minute while she went to look for them she said she had them and will hold them for me thank you so much Ibed for you're amazing job more Associates like you

We were helped by one associate, Priyanka, who was friendly and went the extra mile for us, despite the frenzy of kids and Christmas shoppers.

Over the weekend while looking for a golf shirt, I found a nice big cock roache in the men's room. Grose!! Needless to say, I'm not patronizing this location anymore.

I walked around then realized I started gathering items so luckily the carts are all inside so I was able to grab a cart while holding the items I had slowly started to collect. The dressing room employee was nice and helpful. The cashier was also friendly. I was able to leave my cart while I tried on clothes and came back and it was still there. The bag selection was really nice today. Everything is always first come first serve with stores such as these. They always have good values, but I recommend having a list of things you need, which will help narrow down what you end up buying. They had a good selection of stainless steel pots, and they had these cute mini stainless steel All clad pans!! Also good deals on the glassware for meal prepping! I'd recommend this location I was pleasantly surprised. There is also a trader joe's in the same parking block, but I'd avoid that area. Beware of driving on the trader joe's side, it can get risky from people backing up and not seeing you yikes.

It's nearly impossible to get non-wilted salad or romaine here. I know it's tough with romaine but please, this is ridiculous. The Asian selection of frozen items has improved. Service leaves much to be desired at this location with the exception of the food court. ISABEL in particular was rude af to me, pushing me to tap to pay before the transaction was even finished! "You pay fees now" and she had me confused thinking membership fees were due. I asked her a few times for a box and she didn't even respond, just repeated "you pay now" um first of all you rang up the bacon twice and thought I wouldn't catch it, then you canceled it after I saw you do it. What a rude lady. Please work on your customer service Isabel. If you can't handle ringing up people during closing during this economical time you are in for a rough lesson. It pays to be kind! I don't appreciate my home Costco employing people that are callous and rude! Bad employees reflect negatively on customer satisfaction! I hope management takes this a bit more seriously because the competition is increasing in the area. Costco is not always the best or freshest deal for a lot of items anymore. Smart and Final TRUMPS you guys for a LOT of my grocery list. Maybe next time I'll drive to the South Bay Costcos EVEN THOUGH I LIVE FIVE MINS AWAY.
