Mattress prices have gone up a lot in the last five years, so I got a big surprise when I wanted to upgrade my son from the futon he has been sleeping on. We went to a couple mattress places looking at the range, but I had some sticker shock. I walked into El Corazon a few weeks ago to see if they have mattresses (it's in the neighborhood) and was immediately shown a few options. They were honest with me about not buying an expensive mattress for a 15 year old, and recommended a couple options. Yesterday I brought my son in to try them out. The owner himself spent time talking to us, encouraged my son to really lay in the beds and check his social media so it would be *just* like it'll be at home lol. He gave my son some dating and life advice and gave him a set of new sheets too. Today we got free delivery (and the drivers worked with me around a miscommunication about scheduling) and boom 24 hours later, a months long problem is solved! These are a business of unprofessional ass mfn people. The girl wrote 4-7 and had them come at 230 when I was out feeding my son. I came back in 20minutes like they said. I literally saw them parked outside my sons window for less than 5mins until they took off and went to vallejo no call, knock nothing. I called at 430 the rude ass lady says they waited over a hour for you we need to reschedule and yeah they won't answer ur call nomore. I asked to speak to the owner and she transfers me to the owner that muthafucka is even more rude than she is answering the phone saying what !? Than proceeds to say "i doesn't see whats the problem" theyre coming after vallejo. Like wtf the lady just said they were not coming thats a miscommunication between her them and us. We left that day and shopped around (Ikea, the usuals), but didn't find anything that compared to the value at El Corazon. A few days later I called again and asked when they could deliver a certain couch if I ordered it today (it wasn't in stock in the showroom at the time). He replied "tomorrow". I thought it was a joke at first, but sure enough, it showed up and was installed the next day. I'm sitting on it right now. So this place is pretty cool. They have many options for what you could choose from. There catalog will show many more options if you don't find what your looking for in the warehouse. We had a few hiccups if you will with our delivery but the owner Sergio went the extra mile and promised to do whatever possible to make things right. Edit: after all of this, sergio kept his word. Hes super friendly and really worked with us to get this situation fixed. He brought our mattress, bed frame and everything. He also refunded us. He was messaged me every step of the way to keep my family informed. Best customer service when helping us figure this out. Literally what happened with our mattress was an outlier. I I definately come back to them. Original post:unfortunate circumstances. Very unhappy. I've bought great quality furniture from here before. My uncle ordered a bed frame with a mattress on May 12, 2020. When they delivered the frame, the mattress was wrong. We were told that the correct mattress will delivered on May 19th. But then tuesday May 19th comes, the owner calls and says that the correct mattress will be delivered on May 22, while we are waiting they loaned us a mattress. May 22nd comes, they delivered a mattress. Once they left (it was a no contact delivery switch), we realized that they delivered the wrong mattress. We call them and told them that my uncle paid for a specific mattress. The owner,Sergio kept trying to insist that the mattress he sent us was "better". My mother stated that even though the mattress was "better" we want what we paid for. He said ok, they'll deliver it in 45 minutes. 45 minutes pass, no mattress. We receive a call from the owner who said the mattress will be delivered the following day instead. We agree. Today, the day we are supposed to get the mattress, we get another call from the owner he said the mattress won't be delivered until next Tuesday. My mother and him start having a heated argument. My mom said that his business was no good and he retorted to saying she is no good. All we wanted was a mattress we paid for. If they didnt have it in stock or in their inventory they should have just said so. Instead the owner kept delaying the delivery date. It's been more than 2 weeks, and we still havent gotten my uncle's mattress. read more

Not sure where all of the good review are coming from. I bought a couch and bed from them 3 years ago for about $3000. So far the couch legs have broke and the fake leather on the headboard is peeling off. Lesson learnt! My brother and best friend recommended him to me and told my fiancé and I that we had to go at least check him out before we bought any new couches or living room set for our new place. My fiancé really loved the couch color that he had there for the style that we wanted. However that color could be no where to be found in the color options for that style.
