If I can give this place a negative negative this would be my rating. We came to the city for a wedding, we ended up stopping here to grab a bite before getting home. We ordered about $45.00 worth of food and what do you know we get home ready to eat and we're missing quite a few things and the food we did get wasn't as ordered and NO sauce .. I waited over an hour. No updates, no apology, nothing. I watched multiple people come in after me, order, and leave with their food while I just sat there, ignored. When I finally asked what was going on, the staff looked confused and completely uninterested. One person mumbled something about "checking on it" and then disappeared. Spoiler alert: I never got my food. I eventually just walked out--starving and beyond annoyed. This is fast food? There was absolutely nothing fast, friendly, or competent about this place. One of the worst Taco Bells around. Unfortunately, it's the only one in Elko. Every year we travel through and know it's going to be a problem at this Taco Bell. They make you order on screens. The screens never work easily. This time, we ordered Happier Hour drinks as part of the order. Clearly advertised on the soft drink machines for $1.00. But the screens were charging 1.29. We brought this up to the manager who told us the state charges tax on soft drinks. We said, of course, but the tax is not 29%. The manager could not understand what we were talking about. Eventually, she refunded us the difference. I mean, should have been taking care of immediately. I showed her the advertsisement right on the soft drink machine. Everything looked clean at first glance, but looking carefully revealed crumbs of food on just about every table. What is even going on with this Taco Bell? We went here as a stop on a road trip. Even on mediocre fast food standards this place was terrible and left us laughing for 15 minutes after we had left. - The young woman working at the register had a hard time taking a simple order. We had to repeat our order to her several times. - Went to get our drinks from the soda fountain and they were out of Small/Medium lids. Asked the same young woman at the counter for lids and she was extremely reluctant to give them to us. She mumbled something about them not being able to find any to refill the soda station with. She eventually got some from the drive through station. - The soda fountain had two Diet Pepsi buttons, but one of them contained Code Red. - We witnessed a situation with another customer in the restaurant who ordered a burrito with no onions. Based on what we gathered, they made it wrong twice and she was finally having to complain to the manager on duty and was requesting a refund. With how angry the woman was, it seemed like there were probably more problems going on before we had arrived that we had not heard. Granted, this customer was being just mean to the employees and left a giant mess at the table she ate at in retaliation. - The women's bathroom was a disgusting mess. The toilets and sink were covered in wet grime, and they were completely out of toilet seat covers. - One of the things we ordered was the box meal that was supposed to give you a chance to win a gold PS4. Did not receive the order in the box it was supposed to come in, so missed that chance (however small). Maybe it wasn't a participating location? - Ordered a Crunch Wrap Supreme. It was so poorly put together structurally that it was fell apart completely the first time it was picked up. We couldn't tell if they completely omitted the taco shell to make it crunchy or if it had been sitting made for so long that it turned the taco shell into unidentifiable mush. I can't decide if this place is so bad we'll avoid it the next time we're in Elko or we'll actively seek it for a laugh. But in all seriousness, someone from corporate desperately needs to intervene.
