I've been there before and didn't really like it, but I tried it again today (a year later) and now I'm mad I didn't give it a second chance because the rolled tacos were bomb. Service is always good, it's very clean inside. My sopes was pretty good. But yes I'll have to try more things in that menu.

3 tacos (Al pastor, carne asada, fish)

Writing this review a few weeks later, and I'm still amazed by how delicious these tacos were... and in Elko of all places! Typically, I order 3 tacos at a taco shop. And depending on the size, I usually leave feeling just satisfied or slightly still hungry. After eating 2 tacos from Rolberto's, I was STUFFED. Each taco was overflowing with juicy pieces of meat. My favorite was the al pastor and fish taco. I appreciated how much carne asada they packed into the taco, but the steak was a little bland. I loved how the tacos had a green sauce (guacamole?) and pico de gallo already on it. I didn't even need any of the salsa I got from the salsa bar! These were some of the best tacos and I've had my fair share of tacos in the Bay Area and LA. Serious bonus points for the portion!

Was working in elko at a gold mine decide to come here after work. There's not a lot of Mexican places to eat out here. So decided to check it out. The menu is vast and you'll definitely find something you like here. I went with asada , tripas , adobada , and lengua tacos. For some reason only the Asada had guacamole on it. They do have a salsa bar filled with multiple salsa, lemons , and carrots. They do take longer than expected but everything is fresh. I don't recommend the tripas here , but I do recommend the rest ! All in all decent place to eat.

For a spot that's listed as open 24/7, I'd have expected average if not subpar tacos at best. Maybe it's because we didn't expect much that this place was so good...but I really don't think that's the case here. We. Loved. It. Stopped in to order tacos and got 6: carne asada. Abodaba, cabeza, lengua, fish and carnitas. Tacos were priced $3-$3.25 give or take based on the meat. While slightly higher priced than the average taco one might have readily available in say SoCal, the size of their tacos more than adequately makes it reasonable. Their tacos are tacos that have eaten another taco before hopping in the to go box. Huge!!! The winning meat for me was the cabeza. Perfectly tender/moist. The (very very close) runner ups were the fish, abodaba and carnitas tacos. Nowhere near a major source of water. Blasphemy? Maybe. But to me, the fish was right up there with some San Diego fish taco joints I've been fortunate enough to try. If you find yourself passing through (or visiting for some reason) Elko, give this joint a shot!

Best burrito period! Im born and raised in San Fran eating in the mission all my life. I know taqueria grub. Rolbertos carne asada burrito is a delicious meat bomb:: Basically a tortilla stuffed with a ton of amazing meat. No lettuce. Rice. Beans, cheese. Just a bit of salsa and guac. This is a great value for a-lot of delivering coous food. Great vegetarian Chile Riano burrito. Awesome desserts The place was not fancy and not the cleanest but we got it to go anyway.

Long night drives require late night goodness late night goodness is something that you always need to fulfill your night adventures and they are making that perfect sustenance right here in many different ways! For me it was all about the hot Cheetos carne asada fries as that's something you just can't go wrong with as who doesn't love a pile of fries with a ton of cheese some super flavorful carne asada and sour cream I've had many variations of this over the years and this was definitely one of the best as the fries were perfect and their asada was just very yummy making for a delicious combo! The one order of carne asada fries was enough for two of us to eat it was a big portion that was perfect to share as by the end we were totally full and ready to drive on! This location is in a strip mall at the far edge so don't overlook the whole area when you venture in because I can tell you that they are doing it right here! Overall yummy hot Cheetos asada fries and a friendly staff that's cooking up delicious late night goodies that you can't go wrong with. Who knows if I'll ever make it back here again but you so know that I will find this type of goodness again somewhere!

Nickel and dimed for standard items that SHOULD already come on the food!

May 2026 Elko, N…read more Hmmmmm . . . 3.0 stars. Here is why. Arrived a little after 5 pm on a Friday. Two tables were already sitting. The hostess sat us in a separate room from the main dining room. It was hit brightly by the sun and felt like a second thought of leftover dining. Asked if we could sit in main dining room and she obliged. We asked about the menu and took time to review it. After some time we ordered. My husband had the chicken Alfredo and I ordered the PASTA MILANO which is described as: Chicken, Tomatoes, Mushrooms in a Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce over Penne Pasta. Sounds good right? It could have been good. But it was not. First of all, I never got chicken in the dish. The mushrooms were diced and very few in the dish. The only thing they got right was the tomatoes. I called the waitress over and told her that my dish had no chicken in it. She said well do you want some? I smiled and said well that's what the dish was supposed to come with. So I waited. Then I decided to go ahead and start eating my food because seven minutes went by and I still have no chicken. When the dish was originally served,, I asked the waitress for Parmesan cheese. She said we don't have Parmesan cheese, but we have black pepper. Huh???? of course you have Parmesan cheese. I have it on my Caesar salad. I really don't think she knew what Parmesan cheese was. I just shrugged my shoulders and took a bite of my food. Again, great concept. But the food had NO flavor. I added salt and pepper. Still nothing. I took the balsamic vinegar that was on the table and added it to the dish. There, I finally had flavor in my meal. But still no chicken. Finally, another waitress brings out a plate of squiggly worm like meat. She said, did somebody order chicken at this table? I was disgusted. First of all, it was not pleasant to see it look like that. Also, you should've offered to remake my meal, or at least take it back and mix it with the chicken. But to make me wait until my dishes is half gone and then bring over a plate of chicken is a poor decision. The chicken fettuccine had a good flavor. But the chicken was tough. Hard to chew. Not good flavor. I ordered a n/a Heineken. She brought it in a glass to the table. It was already poured so I don't know if I truly got what I ordered. Also the glass was too large for the amount of beer that was in it. Makes it look like it was half a drink. The waitress was kind, but we did not see much of her. She never offered to refill our bread basket. According to the menu, you get two baskets of bread and then if you want more you have to pay. We only got one basket of bread and never offered anymore. I was looking forward to some good pasta, and this restaurant did not deliver. Very disappointed in the service, and most definitely the food. The waitress took five dollars off of our meal, but she never explained why she did it or why she decided to take that amount of money. She never apologized for my dish, not having any protein, she never apologized for any thing. Management needs to teach staff that they can take ownership of the situation. It is OK to say you are sorry that the chicken was not put in your dish. Let's see what we can do to make it right. That would have gone so far. Instead, it left my attitude about this place as tough as the chicken in the fettuccine was.

So it was pretty solid 5 stars on my covid rating. I try not to bee too harsh with casino coffee shops. I am not expecting gourmet cuisine and 5-star white glove service - especially in rural Nevada old time casino coffeeshops. Normally I would have given this a solid 4 stars after we were greeted seated and brought coffee (which was amazingly good) and huge glasses of orange juice that tasted pretty close to the real thing. It kind of went down-hill after that. My husband and I both ordered traditional Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise sauce with a side of hash browns. Now if there is one thing casino coffee shops uasually get right it is hash browns. Apparently not here. Our plates we loaded up with barely beige shredded potatoes that were not crispy not buttery, not salty, and definitely not cooked through. The Eggs Benedict did not fare a whole lot better. The "Hollandaise" was a gelatinous blob of bright orange something with a texture that resembled Velveeta with none of the flavor. The poached eggs were the best part - firm whites and runny yolks, She let us know there was a delay in the kitchen but our food would be out soon. The service would have been enough to bump this up to 4 stars. However, once we were served, she were done. When she brought our check and took away our plates with the meal half eaten, she did not ask if everything was alright. She said she would be our cashier. After waiting 10 minutes for her to come back we just left the money on the table. I am very disappointed by the level of service and the quality of the meal with should have been better - even by casino coffee shop standards.
