On the day we were here the place was very busy because of the Cowboy poetry annual event was in town. Either way service was awesome and so was the food. We were told no reservations were needed. My wife, two of her friends, and I came in, ordered drinks, and had an exceptional meal. The food quality was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We were enjoying ourselves, having conversation after dinner, and had spent around $300 on the meal. Then, unexpectedly, someone other than our great waitress came to the table and told us we needed to leave because there was a reservation for our table at 7:30. This was shocking and incredibly awkward since there were several open tables including the one next to us that was the exact same size as ours. We were not informed of any time limit when seated, and we had been explicitly told earlier that reservations were not required. Being asked to leave after spending that much money--while still sitting and talking--felt rude and unprofessional. What made it worse: we drove by about 30 minutes later (around 8:00 PM), and the table was empty. No one was seated there. Great food does not excuse poor hospitality. If there are time limits or reservations, customers need to be told up front, not pressured out mid-evening after a premium-priced meal. This experience completely overshadowed what would have otherwise been a great night. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, we won't be returning.

There were six small pieces of chicken, and the sides of hummus, rice, and tabbouleh . I ordered a side of pita as well. The chicken was flavored perfectly. However, the chicken was overcooked and dry. The rest of the plate was delicious. The pita was very good as well. We both really enjoyed this meal.
