The burritos are good. Service is incompetent. This morning was the second time I've placed an online order and not only was it not ready when I got there when it said it would be ready it wasn't even looked at. After telling them I was there for a pickup they started making my order. Once it was done. They put it on the counter behind by the kitchen and it sat there. It took 40 minutes to get two burritos and like I said this is not the first time. read more

Love this place but today on 7/2 I had my elderly mother place an order for me at 7:16pm and the lady that was walking up to cars taking orders took it upon herself to tip $9.87 cents without confirming it. My mother didn't pay attention not thinking anything of it and the lady took the order and ONLY had my mom sign after she did everything. Usually, they have you go through the tip and questions on their device your own but the lady tricked my mom. I don't appreciate that and they also forgot to give my mom a couple of the items that were in the order. So disappointing because we usually spend so much money here and this most recent order was $80! I'm giving a 1 star because this experience tainted one of our favorite places now. We were on our way out of Elko and kids decided they needed foods. Well, we saw the line on the drive through to this place and decided it was worth a try. And yes, it was well worth the wait. Not your typical drive thru with all the food already made...your food is made to order. We had asada, bean & rice burritos. WOW! I want to say they make their tortillas in house, they were that tender and succulent with the perfect amount of time on the flat grill to give them the chew and crispness of a divinely excellent tortilla. The asada itself was so tasty, well marinated, tender and just plain tasty. The beans were refried, but left a lot of texture to add to your eating experience. I used to eat here quite often but now I'm done! The quality of their meat has really gone to the dogs in the last year or so. The last four times I ate at 9-beans, I could barely chew through all the fat and grizzle in the carne asada... The meat at this restaurant is stuff that I would not even feed my dog. The pieces that I took a picture of are stretchy and fatty with a lot of grizzle and I could not even chew it to swallow it. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito and it was almost all bean and cheese. I paid extra for sour cream and pico day guy oh but there was only a tiny bit in there. This place use to be good, but the value is no longer there. They raised their prices and shrunk their portions dramatically. Instead of 9 beans it should be called 4 Beans as that's how much the burritos have shrunk. Always a major wait and the in-out of this location is ridiculous. The food is awesome BUT...they always screw up orders. Many times I've gone through the drive thru, half my order is missing. They get pissy if you start to look through your bag because there is always a huge line. I get tired of spending 35$ on food and only getting 12$ worth of it. read more

They offer a wide variety of burritos. My personal favorites are the bacon, egg and cheese. Or you can go more traditional and get the shredded beef with cheese. Both are very good served on huge homemade tortillas. They offer 3 varieties of salsa which are all good. Reasonably priced for how big the burritos are. And they have the best tator tots. Very bad choice for a vegetarian. Charged me extra for lettuce and tomatoes on a VEGGIE burrito and then barely put any veggies at all, I mean laughable. Ok. I love this place. I've been coming here for years...and I mean years. I usually order the chicken chipotle. It's so dang good, however a bit spicy. I always order an extra tortilla because even though they are huge...one is not enough. Another favorite is the carne asada burrito...with a side of onions, cilantro and a lime. I went with my mom (English is her second language in the Middle East area) through the drive through at nine beans and as we waited we finally got to the intercom and my mom started ordering. Her english is not that good so she speaks very slow and the woman over the intercom started cutting my mom off saying "what else, What else you can have beans, rice etc" (just giving attitude and acting as if her time was being wasted even though no one was behind us in line) she seemed very frustrated and irritated at my mom who was just trying to order. eventually after she gave so much attitude my mom said thank you and left and we took our money else where. even if she was having a bad day she should not have taken it out on a mom and her child trying to order. I don't know if she thought my mom was "mocking" her because she was talking slow but regardless, next time I hope she treats her customers with respect and patience next time. read more

2.5 stars Pluses: -Incredibly tasty flour tortillas. As I usually don't like flour tortillas, that's high praise. -Fast casual atmosphere & price. -Quick food. -Lots of cheese in the quesadilla. Minuses: -They didn't cut the quesadilla at all. -That would have been fine, but all the cheese was at the bottom. I had to cut off at least a quarter of the shell to get to the cheese. -Mediocre chips, slightly worse than taqueria style salsas, and overly citrus guacamole. -Servers who can't read orders & need to be reminded multiple times to provide ordered food. -Pepsi products. read more
