We stopped here for lunch and we are so glad we did! Food and service were really good! I had the chile relleno and my husband had the chicken enchiladas. The restrooms were clean. We could not park in their parking lot because we are pulling a 40 ft 5th wheel but we were able to park in a heavy metal rental equipment parking lot next to the restaurant. There is parking across the street for those that are hauling a trailer and their is a Sinclair gas station close by with good parking there as well. read more

I LOVED this place! My family was traveling through Elko and decided to try Garibaldis for dinner. We were NOT disappointed! The service was attentive and warm: Angel took excellent care of us! Clearly everything is scratch made and so delicious!!!! The salsa and beans with the chips to start.... OMG so good. And the Guacamole? Wow. Our table had mole enchiladas, tamales and chicken fajitas. Every plate was scraped clean!!!!! And though we thoroughly stuffed ourselves, we couldn't resist the churros for dessert. Little bites of HEAVEN stuffed with custard. Not only will we recommend Garibaldis to anyone traveling or living in Elko - we'll be returning on our way back home and will be sampling more delicious dishes from their menu! read more

I am unsure how this establishment has the stars it does . The agua Fresca had old stale ice and the burrito was inedible. It had an uncooked chile relleno ,carrots and peppers in it and rice . Thats it . Hard to mess up a burrito but, this place has nailed it. read more

We ordered the Molcajete for two. The tortillas, rice, and beans came out ten minutes before the main dish, so we're cold when it arrived. The meat and sauce were put into a cold Molcajete, so were only lukewarm when the main course arrived. We told the waitress, who was very nice, and she said that they were busy so didn't have time to heat the serving vessel in advance. She took the dish back and ten minutes later returned with a very hot Molcajete. Unfortunately, the same ingredients from the first one were dumped into it, so the meat was VERY overcooked. We won't order this dish here again, but I gave them a 3 as the waitress was very gracious, and the salsa was home made and very good. read more

Beans and rice very good. Chimichanga and hard taco. They use a spice in their shredded beef that tastes like allspice which we don't care for in this type of food. I've been here twice since moving to Elko and both times were amazing. The food was fresh and flavorful (and I'm from LA so I know good Mexican food), the service was pleasant and prompt, and the resis decorated beautifully. I got the fajitas trio the first time and the garlic shrimp the second time, i would recommend both but i'd say the fajitas are my favorite. They also have a delicious mangonada margarita. The only downside i'd say is that it's a bit on the pricey side but it's still worth it. read more

The food was magnificent, and the service was great! Garibaldis was recommended to us by the day manager at our hotel as having great food at reasonable prices. Since it was in walking distance, we decided to give it a try. Excellent choice. First, their margaritas are first rate, if a bit pricy. We had the house margaritas on the rocks with salt. Delicious! Second, if you are fortunate enough to have Karen as your server, well, it's just all good! She was helpful, personable, and just plain nice! I had their bacon wrapped shrimp (#47 on the menu) and it was some of the best shrimp I've ever had. All the other essentials were very good too, but the shrimp was mouth watering excellent!. Why can I never find good Mexican food when I leave my city ? This place was so disappointing. The food was bland,it lacked any flavor or spice needed to call it Mexican food. I wasn't super hungry so I got the Mexican pizza. I would have much rather had a Taco Bell Mexican pizza. The others in my party got a chili verde burrito and a carne asada burrito. They had to salt their burritos and use hot sauce to give it flavor. They charge you $3.25 for a small side of sour cream. And if you pay with your credit card a fee of $2.25. Not worth it's at all. If anyone ever visits Roseville Ca please come to Cafe Delicias and you will see what good Mexican food is. read more

Had the Mole Enchiladas and they were superb. Though I wasn't that hungry I got 2, one beef and one chicken. Packed up one for brunch the next day. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that provided both refried beans and salsa with the chips at the table. Their decor was quite in line and someone else was celebrating a birthday, and the whole staff came out with the colorful hat. Quite a festive location. We actually found this place in Twin Falls lol. Didn't have a chance to stop there, as we were hooking up our RV for the night in Elko, I found this on yelp. So we decided to try it for dinner. The place was pretty packed. We didn't have to wait for a table though. The Waitress (Maria) was at the table and I was able to order myself a Cadillac margarita. A Kind of strange thing happened, she asked my wife if she wanted a drink, my wife looked at the drink menu and the waitress just walked away. She went to the tab can did arrive really quickly. So really not an issue. The drinks were freaking strong. I usually have two or three margaritas, but tonight only one lol. Can't complain about that. The tequila that she said was in it was El Jimador. I don't think I have ever had it. They have a really Nice list of tequilas. So my favorites. Don Julio tops the list, Herradura, patron, Hornitos, Cabo Wabo, and at least 15 other tequilas. Really nice selection. There is a sticker on the top of the menu, stating that with all the Covid going on, the prices have increased 10%, and that the prices on the menu are not current. This also is acceptable. We expect the prices of everything to just go up. Inflation and even economic depression is just the future right now. What we ordered: Cadillac margarita on the rocks no salt Tequila sunrise Fajita trio for two with flour tortillas ( chicken, steak, shrimp) Took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. We were enjoying our nice cocktails. I'm telling you, these are definitely some damn good drinks. I have barely finished half of my drink and I'm not sure I can finish it. To be honest, that is what you want in a drink lol. Taste delicious and so damn strong you only need one. The fajitas were actually really good. They arrived sizzling on a platter. Tortillas were really good. Definitely could probably do three people for this platter LOL. Plenty of food left over. I did enjoy the chips and salsa also. They were very busy. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive even though she was running from table to table. The restruant was clean and did not feel crowded. There are lots of options on the menu and the drinks look delicious. We were started with tortilla chips, bean dip and salsa. I like to mix the salsa into the bean dip to give it a kick. The chips were warm from being cooked. I had the carnitas de res. Strips of beef sautéed with mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. The meat was a bit chewy but it has a good flavor. The plate included rice, refried beans and a salad with guacamole. I hardly touched the rice and beans as there was too much. It was accompanied by hot corn tortillas. My husband had the chicken mole. It was sweet and saucy. He ordered frioles de la olla. When he got his plate it had black beans so the waitress who caught the mistake herself brought back a large dish of the frioles. There was so much food that neither of us were able to finish. The bill came to $35. If you want a filling tasty meal we strongly recommend Garibaldis. read more

Excited to give Garibaldi's a second try after having their enchiladas previously, I ended up going with a group of friends to dinner. During that trip, I tried the Molcajete! In Mexican cooking, a Molcajete is a mortar and pestle made from volcanic stone filled with various grilled meats, green onions, Jalapeños, Nopales, and Panela cheese all in a butter like sauce. It's rich and lush and absolutely amazing. Not to mention one of my favorite things about this dish is the addition of the Nopales, which is definitely harder to find the further away you get from the Bay Area. Nopales is a Cactus paddle, and it's one of my favorite additions to Mexican food that's rare and hard to find on restaurant menus. This dish 100% redeemed this place for me with my dislike of the enchiladas, and that's because this right here, is what I was supposed to be getting all along! The Molcajete is where it's AT seriously. I also tried their Cantarito which is super good, and pairs perfectly with the many flavors of the Molcajete. I love the Tajin on the rim too! My son tried the Sope and they were delicious as well. Now that I know what to order I will definitely frequent Garibaldi's more often. read more

Early lunch at Garibaldi's in Elko NV. Large restaurant, staff greeted us right away. Large menu with great variety of combos, lunch specials, beverages and cocktails. Our server was professional and attentive. She stated she was new and showed great attention to getting information to our many questions. Like, what was picadillo? Turns out it's shredded beef (not ground beef as I assumed.) Of the four dishes we ordered, the best were nachos and enchilada suiza with picadillo. The taco Salad and chicken tacos didn't quite hit the mark. Now we know what to order. We'll keep coming since it's a pleasant place with good folks. read more

While traveling through Elko, I decided to stop by Garibaldis because I had a taste for nachos and a margarita. They didn't disappoint. I ordered the large Garaibaldi's nachos with Picadillo and it was delicious. Way more food than I could manage but I'm certain the leftovers will be delicious as well. The strawberry margarita hit the spot too. 10/10. If I'm ever passing through back home to Vegas again, I'll definitely stop here. Also, my server Alejandra was a doll. Our server, Angel, was great. Yes, the salsa and beans may differ from other restaurants, but still good, nonetheless. We had the Pollo Asado. It was really good, although the menu photo is somewhat misrepresentative as far as the portion size we received. Margaritas were great. Also had the churros, which were also very good. Some ppl commented about the water and blandness about the food, which we did not experience. All in all we would recommend this place. read more
