This isn't a restaurant but a food truck in a empty area on Idaho Street. I say that because we got confused with the directions. Seems popular with the locals. We wanted a place to eat after seeing the worlds largest polar bear in front of a closed casino .1 miles away. Food was tasty, I got the taco combo with beans and rice and chicken. Tasted great. read more

Guy seemed inconvenienced to have to take my order. Not pleasant... Burrito is insanely small for price. Asked for side of sauce he said it's in burrito.. don't come here read more

I order from Tacos Las Brisas on a pretty regular basis. Today there was a little mistake, part of it was probably my error (the salsa on the side - it was how Door Dash has options) but they took care of it with no problem. We love the food and I'm very thankful for them and how they fixed things for me. I highly recommend! read more

It literally breaks my heart to write a, less than exemplary, review for a Taco Truck. Seeing as how food trucks are my dream, my goal and my passion in life. I seek out trucks. I love finding super good trucks with amazing food that you have to track down to eat at. It makes it feel more special when I catch them and get to eat there. That's why I've tried Las Brisas a few times now, in order to give them a chance and see if I could find an item I liked. Unfortunately I was unable. The tacos aren't anything to write home about. The meat wasn't that good. They don't come with the things you usually get like grilled onions and grilled jalapeños on the plate, or salsas or lime!? What I didn't know is you have to ask them for it as an extra, so the next time I asked for it. It didn't help. They're just not that good. Then I decided to try a "California burrito" seeing as how there were other reviews on it being good. So disappointed. First, what makes it a California burrito? There's no French fries? I guess I just don't know what really makes it "California." Plus it was actually pretty small. When someone says California burrito I imagine a huge meat, fry and guac filled beauty. This wasn't that. As much as I wanted to love this place, it just didn't hit like I was expecting. read more

Oh dear... ok let's start with the positives: meats were flavorful and there is ample free parking. But that's about where it stops unfortunately. Burritos are super affordable, but they were basically deflated and very unevenly spaced in terms of their fillings. Maybe it was an off day for them. What was even more worrisome was that the staff were wearing their masks under their noses. Sad to have to give a local biz a poor rating, but it was a disappointing experience on a road trip. read more

So I have gone here when passing through with my daughter she is a teenager and the guy who takes the orders gives off pedo vibes I've seen him being rude to a lot of customers including myself except when it comes to young girls he should focus more on customer service then flirting with young girls you best beat I will not be spending my money here anymore if you are traveling I say wait to eat and go to Wendover they have an amazing taco truck out there read more

My husband went to go get 16 breakfast burritos and take them out to the rig crews that work for him but this place was no where to be found. It was between 9-930 am. He even gave them a call and got no answer. So I highly recommend call before you drive to an empty location. read more

8-31-19: trying the chorizo burrito with papas, and salsa, $6 each. Delicious. After tasting it, went back to buy another one. Fresh ingredients, nice and hot burrito. Nice folks, decent prices. read more

This review is for one thing and one thing only. The California Burrito with Carnitas. That burrito was spicy, flavorful, not bogged down and heavy and just perfection in a little hand held edible container. I am tempted to never eat a burrito again...it was perfection. Most obviously the best burrito I have ever eaten or done anything else to for that matter. The wait was a bit slow...so don't go here thinking it's gonna be speedy. The menu is small so don't consider this a place that will satisfy a wide range of likes. The location seems to be pretty regular right now. Just across from BJ Bull. The prices seemed pretty reasonable. I think I got the most expensive thing...but it was worth every penny and every carb laden bite. So if you are driving through and want something to get and keep driving...this might just be the right choice. read more

I grabbed two carne asada tacos the other day I was in Elko and they were good. 4 stars for the lack of guac.

Good carne asada burrito worth having twice in a row. Decent tacos, too! Friendly people. No shame in four stars.

started getting crowded friendly staff. Tacos were great I had carne asada , el pastor , chicharron but that one u was not expecting it like that but it was still a great taco with all the fixings meat good flavor will definitely try again when in Vegas it was a drive thru at night sure the place to be when it's open to sit down.. very happy with this pick not to expensive either read more

The food is just ok. The guy working in the truck has always been rude. Today was no exception. Very rude to customers that aren't Spanish or good looking or young and pretty. He has been rude to me EVERY TIME I've gone there. The other 2 guys are nice but not the owner or whoever he is. He's been there a very long time. Don't know his name read more

This is awesome. There is such a small variety of available food in Elko this truck is a god send. Some of the best, most authentic tacos I've ever had. And their catering is amazing. 10/5 stars. read more

The real deal. Outstanding carnitas burrito, the beans tender and flavorful, the pico obviously fresh and excellent. And their home-made salsa is super. I'm going back for breakfast if they're open before I leave town. read more

Mmmmm, so delicious! I love the Asada and the Carnitas tacos. Be sure to ask for lime if you like them as they don't come automatically. But oh the flavor is wonderful!! My only regret, I forgot to take a picture before I ate them! read more

Delicious! We learned about this place via yelp, what a gem. Fresh ingredients and tasty meats. We had the chicken, carne asada and carnitas. We were very impressed with the seasoning on the meats, especially the chicken. I highly recommend the street tacos, the burrito was a bit smaller than we're used to but still very good. If we're passing through we'll definitely stop by again. read more

Some of the best Mexican food you can find around. My favorites are the bacon breakfast burrito, chicken torta, and the quesadilla con carne asada. Also one thing that is great, is you can call in an order and usually your order is ready to pick up. read more

Wanted a quick snack on our road trip and didn't want fast food. (Sorry McDs) Found this gem on yelp and it didn't disappoint! My husband and I both ordered breakfast burritos...one with sausage and one with bacon and they were sooooo yummy! Delicious tortillas and homemade salsas! Would definitely stop again! Thanks so much! read more

Fantastic food at a great price. I've never been disappointed getting food from here. We usually eat this at least once a week during hockey season (it's on the way home), and it's been a life saver. Would definitely recommend the chicken burrito, but anything is great. Thank you Pedro!! read more

Driving through Elko and stopped for a quick lunch for tacos and a California Burrito. It was all delicious at a great price! Great find! We will be back on our next trip through! read more

People around here seem to be in love with this place - but their "California" burrito is a NOT what you get when asking for a California burrito in California. The meat was very poor quality - any taco truck in California's Central Valley blows this one out of the water. Defiantly not impressed and even disappointed read more

Wow what a great treat. California burrito with carnitas was crunchy and flavorful just like it should be.

Yum! Pretty good chorizo breakfast burritos. Easy, fast, and conveniently located. These burritos were huge!

Great meat I got adobado, carnitas, and chicken. I think the adobado was my favorite. They were all pretty spicy, especially the green salsa. Definitely recommend and would go here again. read more

My husband and I like their food. Its quick and easy to get some last minute dinner. I recommend their carne asada burritos

Three different visits, three completely different experiences. First, a mediocre burrito meal. Second, a completely exceptional drop it like it's hot run and snarf burrito meal. Third, threw it in the trash after 2 bites burrito meal. Then the issue of cleanliness. Two visits at lunch time and I never saw either of the workers wash their hands or the counter. One time the single worked washed his hands, but not the counter. read more

Yeah...the taco truck. Authentic Mexican tacos with doubled soft corn tortillas. Never had a bad meal here and get a big smile from the proprietor whenever I show up.. I usually get the carnitas tacos with green salsa, the white queso cheese and onions. I;ve also had the carne asado and BBQ pork tacos. I like a grilled jalapeno on the side. The chorizo breakfast burrito is also a favorite...huge burrito to start the day loaded with chorizo, potatoes and eggs, If you are more adventurous, there are also shrimp, lengue (tongue)and tripa (tripe). Inexpensive, always a line here at lunchtime. They now have two locations. I usually go to the one near 3rd and Idaho on the west end of town. They also have another truck at the Sinclair station parking lot on Idaho at the west end of town. Also sell their homemade salsa by the container. read more
