I ordered 11 cheeseburgers with grilled onions through the drive-thru. After driving 20 minutes home, we opened the bags to discover every single burger was missing the meat patties. Apparently, the order had been entered as "grilled cheese" burgers. I understand mistakes happen, but when I drove 20 minutes back to the restaurant, the manager's response was essentially that the cashier entered it that way, so there was nothing they were willing to do to make it right. Respectfully -- who orders 11 grilled cheese sandwiches at In-N-Out? The issue wasn't just the mistake; it was the complete lack of customer service afterward. A little ownership and effort to fix the situation would have gone a long way.
