The restaurant itself is spotless. You'd swear it was brand new. The booths are comfortable, the custom chairs are a nice touch, and it's clear the owners take real pride in the place. Everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The salsa and chips were on point -- perfectly seasoned and addictive. I tried pozole for the first time, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, the pork was tender, and the hominy was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered her go-to Enchiladas Suizas and said they were very good -- she was impressed. I went with the Chile Verde Burrito and a beef taco. Both were tasty, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The service was just as disappointing as the food. No one at our table received a refill, even after asking, and all we wanted were refills of water. Our waitress seemed more interested in sitting in the back chatting than taking care of her customers. When it came time to check out, the person assisting us wasn't particularly friendly either. What made the poor service even more frustrating was that the restaurant wasn't very busy, so there really wasn't an excuse for the lack of basic customer service.
