Easy breezy, lemon squeezy, this was quick! I was craving boba but and decided to call in so I could pick it up when I arrived. I went ahead and placed an order on the phone which the employee was super helpful for! I usually get thai tea but they were out so I got taro instead. Arriving there, they kept my drinks in the fridge so that it stayed cool, and it was a quick and easy transaction! I could tell they were being clean, safe, and sanitary! Taro milk tea with little boba: I don't know why but I LOVE little boba (size not the amount)! It's more fun for me to drink and chew on than regular boba but that's my preference. They always make it super well here and I'd recommend you give it a try if you haven't! Wouldn't take my reusable glass boba bottles because it "wouldn't" fit even though my bottles were bigger than their cups. Plus they took our bottles when we went just 2 weeks ago. I would've just left it at that and gone about my day but as I was walking out, the cashier thought I couldn't speak Chinese and said to her boss "what a joke, she won't buy it just because we won't take her bottle". My favorite T4 location! I think T4 drink quality really depends on location, and this is the one! My go-to drink is the green tea topped with cream and I'm not sure exactly what cream they use for this drink (because they offer a lot of different types of cream; cheese, coconut, etc) but they do it right!!!!!! Whenever I go to other locations, they never have the right cream or make the drink quite as well. Earl grey milk tea is also another go-to. Wow All I can say is W O W. As a woman of great culture and taste, I visited this T4 in the hopes of finding the perfect milk tea drink, with the exact right chewiness of boba. Not only is that what I found here, I also encountered a cashier with probably the most professional work ethic and friendly customer service I have ever experienced! I believe her name to be Monica or Monika? Not only was she phew...stunningly beautiful.. she was also helpful and kind and helped me pick out the drink I would like the most. Such a sweetheart. She practiced proper COVID safety guidelines and she clearly established a personal connection with me and made me feel like a valued regular customer that she'd known her whole life. It's a good thing I tested negative and got my vaccine because otherwise I'd be confused as to what exactly took my breath away. The manager of that establishment should take notes because THAT is the paragon of bobarista behavior, and the epitome of proper customer service! I could already envision a joyous afternoon picnic in the park with this beautiful girl: giggling together at bad jokes, her musical laughter like windchimes tinkling in the breeze, the sudden flush in both our cheeks as we become victim to the sweet promises of young love...ah...that is the life. It's a shame that T4 is so dirty and so badly maintained because it ruined the entire experience for me. I ordered the mango royal tea with pearls. The drink was actually pretty good but the tables, chairs, and floor were filthy that I couldn't stand to finish my drink in the cafe. The cream colored tile floor had black stains. The chairs were ripped and in poor condition. The tables didn't seem to be wiped down every so often. It was cringing to have to sit down. I refrained from even trying to use the restroom because I feared that the single, unisex restroom that they had was going to be in the same condition. I probably won't be returning here. I like their Earl Grey Milk Tea and Thai Tea at 50% sweetness (25% and they seem to lack flavor). Tried their Elegant Lady Rose Tea one Saturday and wanted to cry. What a waste of an order T_T, imo, it tasted really strong, but also oddly fake. I mean, I know that this place isn't freshly brewed tea, but... blegh. I noticed they were calling number after my number to pick up popcorn chicken, so I went over and check. They told me to take the one that has been on the counter for like 10-15 mins because they think an other customer before me took the wrong number order. My husband and I stopped in here while in the shopping center today, we weren't greeted or anything which isn't a big deal. The parking is not great at all, there's very limited spots, so I would recommend parking behind the buildings and walking. When we first walked in, it was a bit crowded - even with not a lot of people in the building. The music was cranked very loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation. The staff was nice enough, but not outgoing or anything like that. We noticed that you could really customize the drinks which we thought was great, could even change how much ice is in the drink (which isn't common unfortunately) and even change how sweet the drink is. On another visit, they had no fruit, no fruit tea, and no green tea. Meh. Ordered the red bean smoothie with boba & basil popcorn chicken snack. Smoothie had huge ice chunks in it that made the drink super crunchy and much less refreshing and enjoyable. The boba was sweet and a good consistency though. Popcorn chicken was nice and crispy. They had a seasoning shaker on the counter to add your own spice. I made mine spicy. The location itself is in a nice shopping center but the area it's in has limited parking. I think due to COVID, there's also no open tables (inside or outside) to sit at and enjoy your drink there. The chairs line the walls if you want to sit and wait, but I don't think it's intended for you to loiter after getting your order. I've been a longtime customer of this location, but had a really bad experience today - Decided to try their amber pearl latte which is a new item on their menu. The drink came out and it was extremely heavy. I guess I should have expected it since it's literally just half&half with brown sugar boba, but it was really difficult to drink and overly sweet, even at a reduced sugar level. The worst part was that the pearls were blatantly undercooked. It was ridiculous - you couldn't bite into the pearls because they were actually just hard. Completely unlike any previous experience at T4. I thought maybe they used different pearls for the latte drinks, so I went up to the staff to ask if I could possibly get my drink fixed. They cut me off while I was explaining and just said that all the pearls were made in a single batch, so there was no point trying to swap since they would all be cooked similarly. Instead of offering a topping replacement or swapping my drink, they basically said that I would have to stick with the undercooked pearls because ALL the pearls were undercooked. Really disappointed with the terrible service and the drink that I received today - I believe each T4 location is a different franchise so I'd highly recommend not coming to this location, until they learn how to train their staff to perform their basic job duties. :') read more

I came to this T4 not for the boba tea but I was craving popcorn chicken, so I said to myself why not? This is in the same complex as the Target in Dublin. When I came in, the couple in front of me took awhile to order but I already knew I wanted the popcorn chicken. As for the popcorn chicken, it's almost $5. I found it a little pricey. I thought the popcorn chicken was nicely fried and I like how there was a couple of pieces of fried basil in it. Wish there was more fried basil. I like that the popcorn chicken was popping out of the container. It was pretty much stuffed to the rim. I just go regular popcorn chicken. They didn't ask me about the spice level, not sure if there's a specific spicy level either? There are shakers on the counter with some spice so I shook it over the popcorn chicken. I didn't particularly care for the seasoning. I like it plain personally. Parking here is pretty easy and they do accept credit cards. Perfect sweetness, awesome boba texture, delightful. However, when I came here this morning, I was disappointed with the quality and inconsistency. I had the Osmanthus Royal Tea with rainbow jelly. At first, I thought it was just my drink, but after sampling everyone else's, it was fair to conclude they just weren't on their A-Game. I'd say that I go to this T4 more than the others just because it's near the outlets and Hacienda... but I'd much prefer to go to the one in San Leandro. I'm sure that the recipes are the same for all the stores but I always feel like the drinks are a bit more watered down here. At all the T4's, I always as for 30% ice (just enough to keep the drink cold) and 80%. Even though I drink it a moment after I get it from the counter, it's kind of like the ice had been sitting in there for a while. Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty good...but it could be much better. No complaints on the boba though, it's delish. As for the place itself, they don't really keep it clean. The tables are always stained with ketchup and napkins tucked under. It doesn't seem like there's an older manager here since it always look like the younger workers here only (probably why things are a bit slacking). Service is really quick but the interaction with them is very nonchalant. It's probably just a part-time job for most people here and they just want a paycheck, nothing more. I'd personally like a little bit more enthusiasm from them since they are the ones selling the product. Their matcha lattes and Thai tea are always safe bets, especially for those who have never had boba before. Today, however, I tried their Okinawa milk tea and it was delicious! The best part is that, as this is a chain, they have many stores throughout the Bay Area with almost identical menus. Came in with my husband and all the workers were playing on their phones. I waited a full minute with them making eye contact with me, before I asked "are you guys open?" The young woman rolled her eyes at us, and the younger male worker said the cashier is in the back. He went to get him, about a min later the same young male comes back and says "I'll just do it" I start to tell him what I like to order, when ANOTHER worker storms out, shoves the young male aside and says "what do you want????" I'm in love with their earl grey tea and matcha, okay with their okinawa too. The first two you can adjust the sweetness/ice consistency to your liking, with the okinawa the only thing you can adjust is the ice level. But, I wouldn't complain since their okinawa just hits just the right sweetness level. Everytime I go here, I would also order their fried squid and basil chicken with level 2 spiciness to go with the drinks. Their pearls (boba) though is a different issue. They're not consistent with the sweetness of them little balls. I love them balls on my drinks but there's times that its so bland I am just pressured to just swallow without chewing (okay that came out wrong). I used to like this place more but it's gone downhill. The line gets quite long and the layout of the shop is so inefficient, so many times you're forced to crowd against the dirty bathroom area while you wait for your order. I think there are way too many tables crammed into the space and it creates disorder as customers make their way to the front, stand around to wait, then push their way out of the shop. I do like the drinks here, especially the custom sweetness and ice level, but it's almost too much of a hassle to bother dropping in now. Parking is tough, so expect to walk a little bit. read more
