I'm not liking this place very much. First of all, the milk tea had a slight watered-down taste especially if you got less sugar, so I didn't really get much of the tea experience with my drink. The grass jelly was pretty good and silky smooth. But that was really the extent of what I liked from my drink. And at first, the price might have seemed cheaper than other boba places but it turned out their "regular" size was the small size at other boba places! Their "large" size would be the regular size at other boba places, and would cost you extra. Wow, tricky. So, I dunno, I'm not sure in the end if this was a good deal. The cashier also told me that if I asked for two toppings then the upsize would come for free, so I was like, yeah, score! It was pretty odd but I'm trying to be more understanding lately since operating during a pandemic can be difficult for business owners. Today, I wanted to get some drinks w/ boba along with popcorn chicken, made an online order after work around 8pm. It took about 5-10 mins to confirm my order then it got canceled. I was wondering if they canceled my order because of boba. I reordered a couple of times and it kept getting canceled. I figured they were out of boba again like last time so I removed the drinks and tried ordering the popcorn chicken only then my order went through. I understand that some times we run out of ingredients but this place just seems like they don't make boba after a certain time. I went to Happy Lemon instead to pick up drinks before I picked up my snacks from T4. What's the point of milk tea without boba..? This is my 3rd time ordering something from this T4 and still disappointed. I really wanted a boba place nearby my office so I can just pop in and get one during a lunch break or right after work. Unfortunately each time I'm disappointed. I typically order an avocado smoothie and depending on who I'm with they order some type of milk tea. For today, I did the same and my avocado smoothie was very bland, watered down. My friend ordered a Thai milk tea and the taste was really off. She ordered it last time and the same taste also (we were trying to give this place another chance). Short review: Don't visit this place. This place has zero customer service skills, orders your drinks wrong, and they add a tip automatically for themselves without your consent. It was a real struggle for her to take our order as she didn't speak or understand English very well, and we found ourselves repeating the same thing 5-6 times. I understand that some people struggle with English and that's ok, but please at least have basic knowledge and understanding of what items are on the menu. There was one point where I said "Can you please make my drink the smaller size?" And she told me "Oh ok mango tea." And she added a mango tea drink to my order. I had to repeat it again twice for her to fix it. Just awful. And then she ended up giving us the wrong boba drinks and still wrong size for the drinks as well. We asked specifically for a regular black milk tea and she gave us earl grey. And we asked for the smaller size on one of the drinks, and she gave us both large. She made us scan the card to pay, which was fine. But what was strange was she cancelled the transaction, and made us scan it again. We didn't think too much of it at the time. However after looking at our receipt, it turns out she added a $5 from us without our knowledge. That's seems like fraudulent business to me. We never add a tip prior to experiencing cafes'/restaurants' customer service skills. We always give tips after our experience. We came here recently to order some popcorn chicken. However, upon my first bite it tasted like plastic and some unpleasant powder. I'm not sure what they put into the seasoning for this. The T4 over in Castro Valley in the Chabot Market Place I highly recommend, but this one needs to lose their franchise or someone needs to completely retrain their crew. The staff got our toppings completely wrong, put far too much ice (requested 30%, out about 75%) and the service was very slow despite barely any people being there. If you don't have your stamp card with you they'll give you a new one. Ok, I lied, I usually forget and ask for a new one. I've got a collection now. Tea drinks and boba: ~ LOVE their teas! Oolongs and greens! They make smoothies and coffee, but they're really all bout that bass bout that bass... crap, hate that song. They're all about their Specialty Teas and Milk Teas. I usually get the Caramel Milk Tea or the Osmanthus Royal Tea. 30/30, meaning thirty percent ice with thirty percent sugar. If you don't indicate how you want it, they'll make it super sweet, blah! Prices: ~ The usual, between $3 and upwards of $4.50 plus, especially if you keep adding things like grass jelly, pudding, rainbow jelly, coffee jelly, and everyone's favorite "pearl". I was pretty excited when I first heard that there was going to be a T4 in my area back in 2014, since there were only a few locations in the Bay Area at the time. Now, they're pretty much everywhere. As for this location, they were pretty good in the beginning, but their services has gone down. Before this plaza was all leased out, it was very easy to find parking. Now with the opening of Gum Kuo and the other stores, it's very difficult to park in front of T4 during the lunch & dinner hours. As for the service, it has been twice now that I ordered less ice and another friend ordered standard ice; yet, both of our drinks had the same amount of ice in our beverages. Another time I ordered 80% sweetness in my milk tea, while my gf ordered 50% sweetness; yet, her beverage was sweeter than mine. There has been other occasions where I ordered 50% sweetness in my milk tea; yet, my drinks would either be too watered down or on the sweeter side. They've been inconsistent in making their beverages on multiple occasions. Another annoying habit that this location will do is that they don't always stamp your frequent user card. Whenever they have a promo, such as a Happy Hour price, or upgrade your size for free; they will not stamp your card. These promos are usually only a 50¢ or $1 savings; yet, they still won't stamp your card. I mean, you still have to purchase ten drinks before you can get a regular sized beverage for free. It makes this store seem very cheap and doesn't give you much incentives to stack up or crowd your wallet with one of their frequent user cards. I have been to the T4's in Fremont and San Ramon, and they've both been better than this location. There are a lot of other boba tea places that have opened up since this T4 that are a lot better than Dublin, so I don't see myself coming back here anytime soon. read more

Location-wise, this T4 is next to many good restaurants in the Fallon Rd strip mall: Gum Kuo, Blue Gingko, BJs, Chaat Cafe, etc. This makes T4 a good choice for a sweet drink after a savory lunch or dinner. Alternately, you can take advantage of the many fried appetizers offered at T4 in case of long lines at your preferred restaurant. Service and drink quality were pretty consistent with other branches. I got the Lychee Black Tea (30ice/30sweet) which was refreshing and slightly tart, making it a good thirst quencher on a hot day. Honestly, this place has always been a solid boba place and a family favorite ever since we moved to Pleasanton. We love the drinks here and the popcorn chicken too. Their other locations are also great. Comments about the "slow" service are kinda true, but I don't mind as much since I'm not usually in a rush and I feel like it's just high school students working here haha. Bathrooms are closed during COVID-19 so if you drink your drink outside and need to use the restroom.. good luck. This place is located in a very dense and tiny center. No parking and the line is always so long. So the best time to go is during off peak hours. My favorite drink is the Peppermint Milk Tea full force (regular/regular). I'm not a fan of the fruit teas. The deep dark secret... I actually come to T4 for the snacks! Oooooh, basil popcorn chicken ( no spice, light, medium, hot, and super hot (sorry I forgot the actual name that they use for level 4). **TEA REVIEW: T4 IN DUBLIN, CA** Pearl Milk Tea, 30% Ice, with Boba: $3.45 + $0.32 sales tax = $3.77 Upon the first sip, you can taste that the milk tea is super sweet. It's definitely very sweet for my taste, so dropping the sweetness level down to 70/80% would be more ideal for people who generally like sweet stuff. If you're not really a fan of sweets, then I would suggest dropping it to 30% or even the lowest sweetness level possible. Additionally, because of how sweet the drink was, it overpowers the tea taste and you could barely taste a hint of it - it's like they just injected a bunch of sugary syrup into your mouth (-1 star). For the boba, it's not particularly great (-1 star). It gives off a very chewy consistency, which some people do like, but my ideal version of boba are the ones that come into your mouth warm and fresh and melts as it comes in... kinda like how high quality meat just melts in your mouth and gives you a great and fantastic sensation. Overall, the pearl milk tea at T4 is just alright. It's fairly inexpensive ($3.77, price may vary by location) and is good for quickly grabbing some to satisfy your boba cravings, but if you are looking for great boba, this is not a place I would suggest. Finally, I was originally going to grab a hot almond milk tea, but apparently they did not have it on their menu as each T4 location has their own separate menu, which I did not know. Review #101 - 2018 I was kind of disappointed that we had to resort to T4 for drinks & snacks when we drove over 30 minutes just to try out Sweethoney Dessert around the corner from here. The line there was way too long for us to wait--plus, it was already past 9 PM & we hadn't eaten anything and everything else in the shopping center was closed. When we showed up around 9:20 PM on Friday, April 27th, the place was pretty busy, but we were lucky enough to grab a table before we placed our orders. We got our usual drinks, a large jasmine green milk tea with angel boba and a large elegant rose tea, which tasted exactly how we liked. I saw a photo of the fried flour bun with condensed milk from someone else's Yelp review and thought it would be good since I really like condensed milk, but it tasted pretty plain. Nothing like what I had in mind at all. My son said he didn't like it either so we just ate one piece each and tossed the other two. My son really liked the fried chicken wings, but I thought it was a little on the salty side so I only had one piece and let him eat the rest. I had to eat the green onion pancake all by myself because my son said he didn't want any of it since it didn't come with any type of sauce. It was actually pretty good & crispy. We both agreed that the fried lobster balls were our favorite. It's nothing special, but they added some extra black pepper & seasoning to make it pretty tasty. It's actually a fun snack. Out of all the boba places in Dublin, this is one of my top go to places for boba. By far they have the most selection of drinks & snacks. Our personal favorites are the Lychee Green Tea with lychee bits, Okinawa Milk Tea with boba, popcorn chicken, and the deep fried squid. Prices are very reasonable. 4 stars because of two reasons: 1) parking is a little scarce around the store especially during the weekends 2) when we asked for cup holder, we were told we could not get one because the cup holder was only for "hot" drinks - lol... does not make sense. This location has been around for a while and I believe the only location in dublin. Typical milk tea place vibes, board games, music, and the distinct smell of popcorn chicken. They've recently revamped their menu, it's on a huge wall which I like, can easily figure out what drink you want while standing in line. They have restrooms located in the back of the shop, always a plus! There is plenty of seating, I don't think I've ever been here and couldn't find a place to sit. Staff is friendly, orders come out pretty quick depending how busy they are. My only gripe is parking sucks! You can park further away but would have to walk across from a different parking lot and people drive like maniacs there. Slow the F down people! It's not worth someone getting hurt, just saying.. There is only 2 drinks I get here- Jasmine Green Milk Tea- I order this with soy milk. This is one of very few places that offer a milk substitute (Boba guys is the only other place but further from me than T4) The green milk tea here is bomb and only $2.95. T4 has not disappointed me yet and that's for any location! When it comes to BoBa I pretty much stick to what I love and that's the Wintermelon Milk Tea!!
