Finally had the chance to come here after coming home from college and I was very pleased with my visits. The store is a bit small, and hugely popular so can get crowded, as it was the days I came in. But it didn't take too long to order, and the wait time for drinks was average in comparison to the number of people (15 min tops). As a Taiwanese tea place, it makes the cut. You can customize sweetness and ice amount. Pricing is maybe a tad expensive but nothing to really shout about. Upsize +$0.50, extra topping +$0.50. Accepts credit/debit. They also have stamp cards ! My first visit with my mom she had the Elegant Rose Tea w/Aloe at either 30 or 50% sweetness, and it was plenty sweet. Had she had it regular, it might have been overkill. But at this level it was very refreshing. I had Milk Tea w/Coffee Jelly and Pearls; good milk tea flavor and the pearls were not overly chewy. The coffee jelly was a bit tough but not too bad. We were in a snacking mood so she also ordered the tofu, green onion pancake, and crispy chicken. None were disappointing. For the chicken, mild hotness was plenty hot already so beware! The snacks came out first despite there being only one person doing them (kudos to you, sir). Second visit, we had the Avocado Smoothie which was rich and creamy, and the Oolong Tea topped with Cream, great tea flavor came through. I'm not sure if they use real tea leaves but there are some displayed at the front counter. The place was clean and crisp, with a great choice of color scheme. Am I the only one who thinks the menu here is complicated?? I know it's not as extensive as Quickly but at least at Quickly the menu is organized in a very easy way. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted here but here's what we decided on: Royal Fresh Milk Tea $2.75 Pearl Milk Tea/Green Milk Tea $3.25 Basil Popcorn Chicken $4.25 I like my drinks sweet and I know my bf ordered the Royal Fresh Milk Tea 50% sweet but it had like no flavor to me (but I did drink it only after eating the flavorful chicken so maybe that was the issue). My Pearl Milk Tea was good... Just a typical milk tea. A little pricier than I'm used to for normal boba milk tea though. Popcorn Chicken was really good, juicy, and flavorful. In addition to the many flavors and varieties offered (i.e., tea, smoothies, milk shakes, juice, slush, etc.), you can also customize the level of sweetness on most drinks as well as ice. Their matcha lattes and Thai tea are always safe bets, especially for those who have never had boba before. Today, however, I tried their Okinawa milk tea and it was delicious! The best part is that, as this is a chain, they have many stores throughout the Bay Area with almost identical menus. Came in with my husband and all the workers were playing on their phones. I waited a full minute with them making eye contact with me, before I asked "are you guys open?" The young woman rolled her eyes at us, and the younger male worker said the cashier is in the back. He went to get him, about a min later the same young male comes back and says "I'll just do it" I start to tell him what I like to order, when ANOTHER worker storms out, shoves the young male aside and says "what do you want????" Update- Passion Fruit Royal Tea with Lychee jelly. Yums . I also ordered the fries here for the first time .. Not crispy enough. I wished they had left it in there long enough. And I guess they normally don't put any chili powder on their fries like their chicken and such.. When I asked if they can make it mild spice, they looked at me funny and laughed and questioned it. Yay another new boba place just down the street from home! This place is brand new and looks very clean and modern. I like that they have a great selection of teas and some inspired from Taiwan with average prices around $3. A plus is that they take credit cards and they also have stamp cards, which is perfect since I'm just down the street and I'll be coming here very frequently. Another unique thing is that you can choose how much ice you would like: standard, 80%, 30% or none and sweetness: standard, 80%,50%,30%, or none. I got their wintermelon lemon tea w/ boba 30% sweet and 30% ice. The tea itself was the perfect sweetness, but the boba was a lot sweeter than I expected. Unfortunately, I was very happy with my selection, the tartness of the lemon plus the sweetness of the boba didn't mix well with me. I think I'll stick to just plain wintermelon tea next time. Despite the sweetness of the boba, the texture was perfect. My brother got their thai tea 80% sweet with pudding. Their pudding actually is delicious, I would recommend getting their pudding. The thai tea was way too sweet for me, even at 80%, I would probably stick to 30% sweet for everything. I'll have to try their other selections including their Royal Teas, Teas w/ Cream, and regular milk teas. Good boba with lots of flavors. I like the flavor of the teas and you can really smell the tea when you walk in. The ordering scheme is a little tricky. You get the choice of selecting the amount of ice you want in your drink (high, std, 80%, 30 %, none), similarly you can do the same with the sweetness. I haven't tried their snacks yet but it's a place i'll definitely come back to especially since there aren't many boba places around here. read more

I came here after shopping at the Livermore outlet. I came here on a Monday around 330 so there was not much people. I was able to find parking right in front of the store. Their price is pretty similar to other boba place which usually run between 3-4 dollars. I order a red bean milk tea with pearl and make it a large. The price came out to be $4.65. The red bean milk tea is basically just milk tea with red bean added in. I was expecting the milk to taste like red bean but still the drink was good. The boba was cooked nicely and taste good. Overall. I think this place is pretty good for boba. I did see that they have happy hour from 7 to closing so maybe if I am in town. I'll come back to this place and check it out. read more

Not good for milk teas, I've tried multiple including the roasted oolong milk tea and everything seems to be watered down. This may be obvious, but some businesses do this well, so I'll say it anyway. Don't go close to the closing time. Boba is not consistent and didn't taste good and that shouldn't be my fault for going toward the closing time if I'm there to buy something. Got the kumquat lemon juice with 0% ice and 50% sweetness. Pretty good drinks, definitely a step up from the chains (Quickly's/Loli-Cup). The taste is good, their food is good, so why the bad rating? I was pretty disappointed when I ordered my Taro milk tea and they didn't have any normal sized boba. How does a "boba" store not have "boba"? I ended up with the smallest boba, which are the size of ants. On top of that, we ordered a large size and end up with a small. Ummmmm, not a big deal, but you should get a customers order right. They offer customization on ice and sweetness (100%/80%/30%/0%) which is nice, but if that is too much information for them to handle, maybe they shouldn't offer it. The tables are generally pretty clean but there's always those groups that don't follow the common courtesy rule of throwing their trash away before leaving. I digress. I've enjoyed a few drinks here but my fav is still one of the most popular- grass jelly milk tea with 30% ice & sugar. From the time of the grand opening til now they've unfortunately gotten a little stingy with the amount of grass jelly you get. Bummer The other drinks I've enjoyed were the peppermint milk tea with boba (tapioca) and aloe, and the matcha with boba & grass jelly. Had a boba craving, except it was 92 degrees outside so I ended up getting aloe instead of boba. My son loves red bean so I typically get him a red bean milkshake. They have a 6FT distance line and are running on short staffing so the wait was longer than usual. I wanted to get popcorn chicken but couldn't fathom waiting longer than I had to. It took about 20 mins total to order and get my drinks. They were pretty busy so I won't knock them too much on customer service and wait times. By far the worst T4. There were 3 workers and it literally took all 3 of them 4 minutes to make 1 drink on average. They kept on chatting, checking labels but not making drinks. Took them 10 minutes to take my order (I was 2nd in line), and another 20+ minutes to make my 2 orders. One of a workers dropped 2 bobas on the floor and instead of apologizing to the customer that got splattered on, he was busy cursing. 10 minutes later was still mopping the floor because he was just so disinterested in his job. The only reason why I gave them 3 stars is 1. Their thai tea is delicious and you can choose the sugar/ice level 2. I took stars off for the fact that their front glass door is always so dirty. I tend not to walk into this establishment when the door is really dirty because it just looks like they don't care about cleanliness. I've even told them that they should clean their door glass. I often times find myself in the Fallon Road shopping area - which is filled with myriad food options - but I always end up choosing to grab some boba from T4. This means something. For bubble tea standards, I'd say that the service is pretty quick! This place is constantly crowded in the evenings and I can confidently say that I have never had to wait more than eight minutes for my drink. And I have never been disappointed with the final product either! I would highly recommend their Candy Pear with boba, Iced Matcha with boba, and their Red Bean Milk Tea. I usually go through a cycle of ordering each of these flavors because they're all so great and it's pretty hard for me to decide. I think that T4 is as good as bubble tea can get outside of Berkeley/SF/other larger cities. We ordered basil popcorn chicken and a passion fruit smoothie. The smoothie was very delicious and it was the best passion fruit smoothie I've had. They actually use REAL passion fruit and when you're drinking the smoothie you can eat the seeds. It was not overwhelming sweet and there was plenty of boba at the bottom, way more than quickly and lollicup. The basil popcorn chicken was a good snack. We ordered it at lvl2 spicy and it tasted great with the smoothie. They also have sweet and sour sauce which tasted great with the chicken. We went around 12ish and it was only a little full. The service was quick and we only waited around five minutes for our drink and chicken. We decided to come back around 4:40 PM yesterday but the line was too long. You had to wait out of the shop. The avocado smoothie came out terrible with still multiple large chunks of ice still in the smoothie (couldn't fit through the straw). Starting for the first time, I always go with a 30% or 25% less ice and sugar and a standard PMT. Tea and milk flavor is a bit weak, but it does alright. I only came here once so this rating and critique is based on just that. On our trip to SF, my dad and I stopped here to give their drinks a try. Not to mention it was really hot and we were extremely parched. I wanted something more refreshing and not creamy so I opted for a honey peach royal tea w/ 30% sweetness. I don't particularly like sweet, sweet drinks so I can be somewhat picky with my milk teas and fruit drinks. But to my delight, my drink was refreshing, tasty, had the perfect level of sweet! Success! However, my dad, who got a regular milk tea w/ grass jelly and 30% sweetness, was less than satisfied with his drink. He said it wasn't sweet enough and quite bland. I think it just depends on what your sweetness preference is, so I still give this place 4 stars based on my experience. We also ordered their basil popcorn chicken with medium spice. My girlfriend and I have had polarizing experiences here. The first time the service was terrible and the young gentlemen at the register gave us an attitude when we ordered our drinks. The second and third time we came service improved. The drinks, however, are consistent and keep us coming back. She gets the jasmine milk tea and I get the lychee aloe slush (delicious fruit in a frozen treat!).
