Staff is super friendly, and the shop is reasonably sized with plenty of seating! The location is in downtown so it is easily accessible, the only issue might be finding parking on Friday or Saturday night as downtown is busy. I've had several good experience at T4, in Sacramento. This location both lacks quality and service that the other 3 locations within the greater Sacramento area provide. Drinks come out slowly, and the reason I was inclined to give them a one star review is due to their stamp card policy. For one, they do not accept stamp cards from other locations, which is understandable because all T4 locations are independently owned. However, on my third visit today, I was told that I cannot combine two stamp cards from their location, with their punches on it. In my opinion, this is extremely bad business practice. It gives off the impression that they just want to make more money and do not appreciate frequent visitors. Until they resolve this issue, I don't think I will return and I would tell my friends, especially those who frequent T4 in Sacramento that go to UC Davis, not to go here. The downfall was that during soft opening - it took almost 45 minutes to just get two drinks. However, they've resolved that issue since then. I love their Early Grey Milk Tea and Jasmine Green Tea w/ Mango Ice Cream! Pretty good service but they tend to get packed easily and when they do it can take anywhere from 10-25 minutes for your drink/order. Drink sizes are okay :/ you pay about the same price as some other boba places in Davis for a way smaller cup. They used to have free large upgrades with a yelp check in but they stopped doing that so I don't visit as frequently anymore lol. I'm really disappointed in this franchise location, but I love the other locations like the Sacramento and Fremont locations. This location is pretty big and they have a lot of seating. They even have board games, like giant connect four and giant jenga! I've tried the roasted oolong milk tea (50% sweetness, 30% ice) with boba. There is absolutely no tea aroma in it. It tasted like sugary milk water and I couldn't finish it. The boba was mushy and way overcooked. I also tried the elegant rose aloe (50% sweetness, 30% ice) and it was pretty good. I would get this again. I thought it was still pretty sweet even though I got half sweetness. It didn't have a strong rose flavor but it was slightly fruity and the aloe chunks were good. I tried to pay with a $100 bill. The server looked absolutely confused and mumbles, "I don't think we accept $100 bills..." so she asked the manager to double check. She came back and asked me to pay with smaller bills or a card and I was fine with that. Then the manager comes and says, "we do accept $100 bills." She gives my card back and awkwardly asks if I want to pay with cash again. I ended up paying with cash, but by now, a long line is forming as a result of an awkward encounter with poorly trained staff. read more

B E S T M I L K T E A in Davis. I've been to T4 in Sacramento multiple times and this T4 is just as good. It took a few week for them to get better. Like any good new boba place, it takes a while for the staff to be trained and know what to do. So I could understand why the wait was so long when it opened. Don't be fooled by the other reviews. You have to give them slack because they just opened. Most of the staff are friendly and they will sometimes recognize my girlfriend and I because we are regulars. My girlfriend and I get the best service from Bri and Vivian! They were also able to combine two of my frequency cards into one. I generally order an earl grey milk tea with 50% sugar and 30% ice. The milk tea at T4 is better than all the other boba places here in Davis. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This place deserves 5 stars because it has good service, great milk teas, and it is only going to get better with time! I would highly recommend coming here especially if you love milk teas and playing connect 4! read more
