I'm surprised I haven't written a review for Teaspoon Davis already. I used to come here all the time when I went to college and would stop by 2-3x a week on my walks home. I came by Teaspoon again a few days ago while in Davis for Picnic Day and I am happy to say that it's as good as it was before. The menu is smaller than other boba places, but each drink I've had here has been good. I love a blend of strong tea flavor and not overly sweetened milk tea, which is what they have to offer! My go-to drinks are their house milk tea or liquid gold, and when I want something fruity, I opt for their lychee black tea (aka lychee on lychee). I suggest getting the drinks half sweet if you don't want your drinks too bland but also not too sweet. The staff here has always been local college students who offer kind and speedy service. I'm never in here more than a few minutes unless I'm ordering a lot of drinks. It's small inside the store so if there's a lot of people in line, it's best to wait outside. It's not really a place to sit down and chat, but to take your drink to go which is fine since it's located downtown. read more

We dropped in on the way back from a scout trip with 5 scouts and one adult. Everyone got different drinks. My daughter got a caramel drink with boba and lychee (not a combo that makes sense to me), and she liked it. I had a Vietnamese frappe. It was quite tasty and the boba were good quality. The previous time we dropped in on a long drive, I had the taro lover. It was not as taro as I would have liked. Good but not over the top good. The shop is clean and cute and there is a digital ordering system as well as love staff to order from and ask questions. Adorable place. I've been here a couple of times, and I'd say they have some of the best brewed tea, but their milk tea isn't as impressive. I ordered the taro boba, and while the drink itself was good, the taro chunks tasted sour, almost like they had expired, which was disappointing. I also tried the Vietnamese coffee, it was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, I'd come back for the tea, but I probably wouldn't order the milk tea again. read more

I stopped in to get my hubby a drink of his choice yesterday for Father's Day, as well as something for myself. After all I helped make him a father lol! Hubby said he absolutely loved the flavor of the Flamingo, that's apart of their new Watermelon Series, minus the seeds. I loved their signature Caramel Cream with added Oreo! Sweet, creamy and delicious flavor and their honey boba is just perfect! I would definitely recommend my new favorite boba shop and I'm looking forward to trying more locations! Great spot for a grab and go boba. The place is so cute literally a hole in the wall haha (Not in a bad way at all). Note that there is no seating so you just order at tablet or with staff and grab and go~ My current obsession drink at Teaspoon is the Matcha Royale with mango. Omg the drink is just perfect. Not too sweet and not too creamy it really is so tasty! Service is friendly and helpful. I remember a few times ago when I first came in I had a lot of questions. Pretty small store front so it gets cramped very fast and difficult to get in when it's full because the door is a push to enter and a pull to exit. Anyways the service was pretty good for only one employee. She took everyone's order and make there drinks after each order. Im an all time fan favorite of teaspoon. I always order their new drinks and usually I'm very satisfied except for one reoccurring factor, sweetness. Their varying levels of sweetness for the drinks is something that always throws me off when ordering a new drink. I never know how the sweetness will be since some drinks are extremely sweeter than others, even without the toppings. I think keeping the consistency of sweetness levels between the drinks would be a big level up. The service is always prompt and their teas are good quality. I personally don't mind that there isn't any seating but if you are looking for a coffee shop vibe that wouldn't be the place for you. read more

I didn't pick up on the roasted flavor of the tea leaves. I like my tea strength strong, so that was kinda disappointing. Stopped in for the first time here. It's a small shop but super friendly staff. While I was ordering, I overheard 2 separate customers ask to remake their drinks. They really want their customers to be satisfied with their drink. I wanted to order the taro but they were out so I chose the coconut coffee with Boba with 25% sweetness and no ice. It was good. Drinks were good not great. I gotta say there is way too much ice even when you ask for less. That's a big pet peeve for me.

This cute place is located in downtown Davis and as soon as I entered, we were immediately greeted by kindness. I ordered the Caramel cream and it was so delicious and refreshing -- perfect for any occasion and especially on a warm day. They had a few snack options as well which included macarons. I know I would come back and try different drinks off the menu and of course, grab myself some macarons. This is a very small space with not much room. However, the neat thing is that they have a website with their full menu -- you can order ahead and select the day/time that works for you to pick up, they have kiosks upon walking in so you can order that way or you can order with the employee. So I like that they have options and seem very effective in that way. read more

Came here in a Thursday afternoon around 2:30pm. It was easy to find its right across the movie theater. Walked in it was a cute little shop. The menu was big and wide on a television screen. You can do self order or walk up to the counter and place an order there we decided to walk up and talk to someone. Was warmely greeted by the gentleman behind the counter, I had questions about the menu, what was popular and what was preferred. I got my husband the classic Thai tea with no Boba, for myself, I got a iced milk honey jasmine green tea and a Vietnamese coffee latte. Everything was made so fast sealed in it to me in a bag. They have macarons there too for sale. Everything was super delicious. Definitely will come back again to try other things. read more

Decent boba, their pearls have a great brown sugar flavor and it's more on the softer side. However I'd say the prices of the drinks are a bit expensive considering to me it's average decent boba. Their Thai milk tea was a bit too sweet and was not adjustable, but overall it is decent. Probably more of a last resort boba place for me! read more

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Lia helped me create a delicious combo for my drink. I got the ladybug after I told her I love passion fruit and she recommended I add passion fruit popping boba and the honey boba which tasted so good! She even offered to remake it if I wanted it sweeter but it was perfect with 75% sweetness for my liking. They also offer some small pastries to go along with your drink. I've always been a huge fan of Teaspoon, and this location is no exception. Although a smaller location with no inside seating options, the staff were very friendly and my drink was turned around pretty quickly after ordering. Ordered the Flamingo, which is one of their seasonal drinks consisting of watermelon juice layered over passion fruit, with an additional boba topping added. Apparently I had enough reward points to redeem a free drink, so that took $6.00 off my total price. read more

if I could give zero stars I would!!! severely disappointed in my experience here. I ordered on DoorDash and both drinks were made wrong. I had to drive down there myself and confronted the worker that was there. For one drink I ordered strawberry splash and received what she said to be just the syrup and the other one I had a mango splash and she said she didn't put any in. During the confrontation she was wildly unprofessional there was no apology she just took the drinks told us what happened and then threw the old ones away and then restarted. I normally have never had any problems here and is one of my favorite places to go but unfortunately I will not be coming back for a while as I'm just severely disappointed in my experience today. I ordered around 5:40 5-19-26. So my recommendations for all those reading this to not go there for a while and instead go to lazi cow, sharetea or tea4 as I've never had a bad experience there (yet) as a huge Boba fan! read more

Jasmine milk tea was SOUR (-0/10). We had one sip and threw it away. Tiramisu latte straight up tastes like Nutella in a BAD WAY. I got 50% sweetness and it tastes like 150% sweeteness (1.5/10). Lastly we got a matcha and the sugar was not mixed in at the bottom but compared to the other two it was drinkable at least. (4/10). At least service was good there and friendly read more
